I was initially allocated a ground floor room but the receptionist totally understood that as a solo female traveller I was not comfortable with this and moved me to a 1st floor room. The room was bright spacious and incredibly comfortable as well as being extremely quiet - I slept like a log which I rarely do in a hotel.
Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked.
If I am on business in this area again I will definitely return
If maybe at breakfast it was explained what the options were and made clear that there were china cups for your tea/coffee (I didn't have a hot drink because all I saw were the paper cups

It met my family's needs. The welcome was comforting after a late arrival. Staff were both courteous and kind.

To much nose from other quest in evening when sleeping (1.15) am asked for the room not to be clean and was told that's fine and every day when we got back to the room it had been clean !we put are car keys and money banks away in the safe in the evening got up in the morning and could not open the safe we had to wait an hour for some one to come then they didn't know how to get into it about an hour after someone coming got into it. So we could go any where for 2 hours so it put are day out and NO SORRY OR ANYTHING FOR THE INCONVENIENCE VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
the hotel is looking dirty in the corridors.

Good location. Friendly welcome and a clean room.
An old building which has been slightly modernised with new furniture. Thin windows made the room cold and the heating system cut off after a short time. Wasn't aware of the parking fee at time of booking.

Good sized room and reasonable hotel restaurant.
Comically small gym. Dated room fixtures and fittings. Low quality for the price.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Nice bathroom
I don’t think you should pay additional for parking on arrival when booking.com says parking.

The gentleman on reception was very welcoming. Helped with a few issues we had.
He was a pleasure. Lovely room and resturant.
I ordered chicken mushroom pasta. But no chicken was added. Instead of taking my plate away, a chicken breast was brough to my table to add myself. The chicken was so dry because it had not been cooked in the sauce. I was unable to eat any of the chicken.

I didnt actually stay in the hotel as this booking was made in error. We intended to book for March 2023 (Crufts) as we do most years. However without realising my partner (who is dylexic) had wrongly booked for June 2023. When we got to the hotel we were obviously told we had no booking until June. No rooms for free so we had to find another hotel. However later we git a parking fine of £100 for using the hotel car park. Of course we used the car park. As far as we were concerned we were staying at the hotel. After ten minutes of searching for a hotel online we left the car park. I should add that it was the worst night of the year with thick snow and icy roads. It was pitch black and we never saw the car park signs. The barriers were open. Apart from the £100 parking fine we were also charged a £40 admin fee by the car rental company. When I rang to cancel the booking for June I was told it was not refundable. A disgusting decision considering their were three months from March before the booking was to be used. The good thing about this is that the hotel we found in March was far superior, same price, more facilities and we will never use the novotel again. We shall be advising our friends to do the same next March.

staff were amazing - very clean room
few maintenance issues - only one socket in room - couldn’t tip bar staff or waitress with card

Liked the closeness to the M6 as it was an overnight stop on the way to Cornwall. The rooms were clean and tidy and accessible. Had 2 small dogs there were no problems and there were plenty of places to walk them just outside the hotel.
The breakfast service was a bit slow as the girl that was supposed to look after quite a number of guests that were having breakfast kept on disappearing so one on breakfast service was definitely not enough as a lot of the other guests were not to happy withe the breakfast service either.

We were greeted and checked in by a very helpful and friendly young man who gave us useful information regarding the concert we were attending. The hotel was very clean and modern. The outdoor area was lovely. Good breakfast.
The bar was very busy after attending the concert and staff did not seem prepared for such a rush. We waited a good 30 minutes to be served at the bar because they were serving very slowly.

Fantastic location for a concert- the hotel is in walking distance to the CBS arena. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating which made our stay so much nicer. The hotel had food available when we got back from the concert late which was brilliant! Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Would highly recommend to anyone attending an event at the stadium.
