Our accommodation of choice in Port Douglas !!!

MA on P is an excellent accommodation choice. It is a short walk from shops and restaurants. The direct pool access rooms are great. The staff are very helpful.

The lounge in the room was very uncomfortable. Having in mind that the majority of guests stay for a number of nights the lounge should be upgraded to provide more comfort. The apartments are on more than one level and can be noisy if, as we did, you happen to have an inconsiderate guest staying above you.

Poor experience. Needs a good clean and renovation

Location

The room was not clean what so ever. Sheets were dirty. Towels had holes in them. Bed was uncomfortable and room was tiny. Would not recommend or stay here again

Great place to stay. It’s our second visit

Accessibility to pool. Unit was very clean, spacious and comfortable.

We arrived early and even though we didn’t expect to get into our room early, the reception staff said they would call us when the room was ready. They did not call and when we came back and asked, the room was already ready, but no phone call☹️

Great place to stay

I asked for an upgrade and received an email back from Chloe to let me know that she was able to organise that! Fantastic ! because i had to deal with another hotel in Cairns and it was a nightmare!

Next door noise but its not your fault.

We came for rest and relaxation and staying here achieved it.

We had a room on the 1st floor and there was a lift. The apartment was spacious and we had a balcony looking down at the pool. Then there was the surprise of the spa on the balcony. All in all it was a fabulous place to stay.l

Holiday retreat

The apartment was very spacious and clean, full size fridge/freezer, in the kitchen was a bonus . Location was great,within walking distance to shops cafes, restaurants, pubs

The spa on the balcony leaked through the plug i thought.

A very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Location was the winner. It enabled us to walk to most places around town. Having a swim up room was great and very relaxing.

The pool could have done with a vacuum out at least once during the week we were there.

Great location, great facilities, great value for money, horrible customer service

Great facilities, loved the swim out room, spa was great, room had everything we needed

The service from the staff was sub par, on the phone I had the worst experience and the staff member sounded like she’d rather be anywhere else. From a business perspective as well if someone mentions it is their honeymoon, it is the perfect opportunity to upsell or provide great service and go above and beyond because those are the people who talk about their experience the most and that was not done at all

Disappointed after reading reviews.

Location is good.

We were put in a room we didn’t pay for, we paid for a pool view as per picture on the booking and were put in a dark room with no day light no view. No ironing board in the room. Spoke to staff who couldn’t move us but managed a change the next day. The reviews rave about this place but was very disappointed. Dirty looking pool and generally a tired hotel.

the location and the staff were the best part

There was vomit in a stairwell for over a day, and our room smelled strongly of bleach when we arrived. There is also no windows on the room just shutters so it doesn’t feel completely private. TV was out of sync and extremely dated.

Fabulous bucket list location

Location was fantastic. Walk to restaurants and shops. Our ground floor balcony opened up to the pool. Also had a spa on the deck.

pleasant, peaceful, beautiful area and location

loved the details the did for my mate.. even though it was written to the wrong person.. lovely view from balcony very peaceful..

In the morning we had 2 staff members just walk in to clean our room even though we were still in there and check out wasn’t for another 2 hours we were not informed we couldn’t use the spa after a certain time until we arrived so many rules that were not included before booking wouldn’t have booked otherwise.. $500 a night you would expect more freedom could hear the people in the room next to us.. not sound prof at all :( pictures made it look the room much bigger then it was.. had a very funny smell my mate couldn’t stand it.. (it was his 30th) wanted it to be perfect for him but was not to bad.. had broken things in the room but they didn’t effect our stay much.

Great stay

The location is amazing which was perfect as it was so hot when we visited. Our swim up room was ideal. Loved the pool access. I would definately stay again. Rooms are not huge but use of space is very well done. Also it was so quiet.

The bed wasn't extremely comfortable but certainly not terrible.

Great location and great size apartment

Location perfect, we had a 1 bedroom swim out . great size had everything we needed in the room.

Room could have been cleaner and the prices are getting expensive (our third stay here) given the rooms are due for an update.
