Incontournable!

Dans un premier temps, cet établissement est idéalement placé, proche du marché, du centre ville et du supermarché. La chambre est très confortable, très bien équipée, avec de nombreuses prises électriques. La qualité de la literie est idéale pour passer une excellente nuit. La propreté de la chambre était irréprochable. Nous avons pu profiter, par deux fois, du restaurant de l'hôtel. Les plats servis sont de très grandes qualités, copieux et servis très rapidement cela grâce au personnel toujours très souriant et très professionnel. Nous avons également, sur les très bons conseils du personnel de l'accueil, effectué une excursion par bateau qui nous a amené au village piscicole, au village Cham ainsi qu'au marché aux poissons...un excellent moment. En résumé, un très bel endroit, plein de charme et de magie qui fonctionne grâce à un personnel très professionnel et souriant.

La qualité du WI-FI pourrait être amélioré car nous avons eu de nombreuses coupures mais cela n'a pas du tout entâché notre séjour.

Tutto! Personale meraviglioso, accoglienza unica. La camera era pronta anche prima dell’orario stabilito e ci hanno fatto trovare una bellissima composizione sul letto. Poi cioccolatini e una cartolina di benvenuto. Sempre con il sorriso e sempre disponibili, ci siamo sentiti accolti. Hanno organizzato per noi in dieci minuti un taxi a nostra disposizione per visitare attrazioni nella zona.

Très bel hôtel sur le Bassac

L'hôtel est charmant, avec des vues magnifiques sur le Bassac. Nous n'avons pas l'habitude de résider dans des hôtels luxueux et c'était une belle expérience pour nous ! Nous vous conseillons vraiment de prendre les chambres avec vue sur rivière, les levers de soleil valent les euros supplémentaires. La piscine est bienvenue au vu des chaleurs de la région. L'emplacement est idéal pour se balader dans la ville et partir plus loin (scooter à louer, possibles excursions en bateau depuis l'hôtel). A noter : nous avons eu la chambre à moitié prix grace à des réductions Booking et la basse saison. Pour ce prix là nous avons trouvé cela parfait. Pour le prix total, peut-être un peu cher, mais dans le coin il n'y a pas énormément d'options charmantes ! La chambre est extrêmement confortable, tout était propre et fonctionnel. Le petit déjeuner était très bon avec un large choix entre des options locales et plus européennes (pho, bun ca, oeufs, céréales, etc). Nous avons également organisé avec l'hôtel notre voyage en bateau pour Phnom Penh, si c'est l'étape suivante dans votre voyage nous vous conseillons ce moyen de transport c'était magnifique et très confortable.

C'est dommage que le restaurant soit un peu cher notamment pour les boissons. Mais cela se comprend par le cadre et le service proposé.

We had a room with a view overlooking the pool and the river that we had travelled on, by Hang Chau Express Ferry from Phnom Penh (definitely recommend that!). Location is perfect as you can easily walk along the promenade to the riverside market, as well as the bustling town centre. Lovely staff, pool well maintained. Breakfast (included) was amazing and we dined in for dinner which was a treat. More expensive for our budget, but great value for money. Staff booked transfer and bus to Ho Chi Minh City

We were travelling by car, and the traffic was heavier than normal with TET celebrations going on so we arrived later than I thought, but this was no trouble for the staff, bags-checkin etc no trouble, made us feel at home straight away, 10/10 for all staff, please don't stop what you are doing, it is great to see good customer service

Definitely take the tours on offer, request Douc as your guide!

The Victoria Hotel was a great base for exploring Chau Doc. The room was spacious for ourselves and still plenty of room with the spare bed set up. The breakfast buffet was more than we needed, but the a la carte options were wonderful and well priced. The room was clean and the staff helpful. We also booked two of their tours, the Village tour and the Bird Life tour. We were so lucky to have been placed with the guide Douc, who was incredible. He had such wonderful knowledge, and was so lovely to spend the day with. Not overwhelming with information, but just the right amount, and was able to answer all our questions. Both tours are definitely worth while. The village tour is so interesting as you tour different villages and learn more about the various cultures that exist in the Chau Doc area. The bird life experience was magical and so cool to see the oasis of the nature reserve. Both are must-do experiences. We were also luck to have lunch at a sister hotel Nui Sam, which was so gorgeous and such a treat.

The hotel is a bit dated/worn, but very clean and well maintained. Overall, no complaints.

Front office reception needs to be trained to provide the invoice once the full payment for the duration if the stay is done on day of check in.

Lovely hotel with great staff.

The fascinating view of the river. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and engaging. We were brought little treats most days and we had fun on the free bikes.

Room was a little small but a great view with a small balcony.

Excellent tours provided through the hotel to Tra Su and along the river. The guide had a great personality, was very flexible, spoke excellent English and made the tours interesting to our family of six.

Great old hotel with amazing river views

Great classic hotel, with great views on a busy part of the river. Very nice food on the terrace overlooking the river. Best place in Chau Doc. More expensive but really worth it.
