Charming hotel with excellent service, beautiful facilities, great restaurant & friendly staff...A++

Kirkton Park is a beautiful hotel with modern colonial charm. We stayed in the Manor overlooking a beautiful garden and had magic view of Hunter Valley. What a gem! Highly recommend :)

Wonderful family stay

Beautiful property perfect for a family getaway. Loved the indoor pool and expansive grounds

It’s not that we did not like it but the rooms have some tired trait. Beautifully styled but just tired.

Great place to stay with beautiful views of the hunter. Great facilities for family's and couples

the whole family had a great time during our stay. Kids loved the indoor pool and feeding the farm animals. breakfast buffet had a great range of food to choose from and service was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Best place to stay in the Hunter Valley!

Such a beautiful property, had everything and anything you could think of! The staff were absolutely amazing, 100% the best hotel I have ever stayed in!

The fridge was very loud in our room and the air conditioner made weird noises throughout the night.

Loved every space (bedroom, outdoors, indoor pool and bar). Big comfortable bed with fresh clean decor. The cocktail at the bar was excellent!

Overstuffed. But lacking great service. I had stayed a few years ago. Was excellent.

I was disappointed. Stayed 6 nights sheets were changed once. I had to clean the kettle before I used it. Asked for more coffee ended up buying a jar. There was a wasp nest outside balcony door. Bits dropping also over balcony. Ordered food which was awful. a red wine jus, which looked like thick gravy burnt beef cheeks. Crispy roast potatoes which were dried up sent food back. Ordered room service got charged $140. I think pork ribs was one night a main. The second night a starter. But charged for main both nights.

Relaxing getaway

Stunning grounds and buildings, very clean, staff were efficient and friendly. The indoor pool was a hit on a very hot day. Breakfast was also lovely.

Nothing. Only suggestion I could add would be a trolley at check in to take luggage to rooms.

Great hotel overall will stay again

Beautiful French provincial style property located in Hunter Valley. Very well mentioned garden and excellent facilities

Decent hotel but probably not worth the money

Nice location - quiet. Gym and pool were decent. Food was good and staff friendly. Very good breakfast.

Bit dated. Shower wasn’t the best. Shame the restaurant was closed on Sunday. Expensive for what it was we felt.

Idealic views, relaxing atmosphere.

It was lovely, all staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had no air con for 3/5 days. No discount was offered for this, two of the days were in the mid 30°'s. No safe in the room, or microwave (we had a baby with us- would have been handy for the bottle)

Perfect place to spend our Wedding night!

As soon as we entered the property, following our Wedding, we were greeted and congratulated by every staff member we saw! It was a lovely touch. The property and room itself were amazing! If you have the option to book the Signature Suite, do it :) It felt really private, had a stand alone bath with view and an outdoor seating area.

Nice property but the room we were given wasn’t up to the standard expected from the website.

Really lovely property with beautiful scenery. The rooms were quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was far too old for this price! The sink was cracked, both taps leaked and the shower had poor pressure. The photos on the booking were not accurate at all. The bedroom itself was lovely and newly renovated just as shown in the photos. But the bathroom was really disappointing and not in line with the rest of the room. Staff at check in offered an upgrade but then sent us to a room worse than what we had booked. Also, note that the room prices change constantly so keep checking online. If it shows up cheaper than what you’ve booked cancel that and rebook again at a lower price.

We had an amazing time and will definitely stay again in the future.

Very luxurious property. We stayed in the Manor House and our room was spacious and fit 4 of us comfortably. Had a balcony with outdoor setting to take in the view. Lots of walk ways to easily get around property to gym, restaurants. They have fire pits set up to use which is a nice touch. The staff were all really nice and even offer a turn down service with chocolates of an evening even after they’ve already cleaned and done up the room that morning.

wonderful hotel, good location

wonderful hotel with cozy rooms. staff is polite and helpful. fire place was ideal for night conversations. breakfast and other meal were delicious.

we stayed 2 nights . in the first evening we came to pool, and small pool was hot, we swam in big cold pool, and warmed up in small hot. in the second evening small pool was also cold. after long day and cold weather we couldn’t have enjoyed warm water
