Nice weekend away. Easy check in and good communication with the owner. House needed a deep clean as there was evidence of past occupants and pests (cockroaches etc).
Really needs a dryer or extra towels especially when it rains and you’re unable to dry towels outside.

Excellent property
Property was exactly as listed & true to photos. The property was a comfortable family home, perfect for the size of our party (4 adults, 3 children ages 6-10 & a small dog). Plenty of lovely touches, chocolates on each bed, great quality hand soap & shower gel, diffusers in the bedrooms, very comfy beds, high quality linen, beautifully clean & well presented. We would happily stay again. Thank you Renee.

Everything was nice and tidy and clean. Some stuff needs improvement though - 1. The is only 1 small air con in the lounge, which is not sufficient entire house. the day I stayed it was 39C at Hunter. 2. Exhaust fan doesn't work in the attached bathroom. Thanks

Great place in average setting
Ruby's is a diamond in the rough! The place is beautiful, clean, roomy but cosy, well-facilitated, but the location does not do justice to the beauty of the surrounding region.

I went along with my 6 friends for the weekend and the stay at Ruby's was fantastic. the log burning fireplace was a big winner, keeping us all toasty warm at night. Six of us stayed here for an extended weekend of cycling and wineries. It was brilliant. We certainly appreciated being able to come home after a long day to enjoy a roaring fire and all the facilities to cook a great meal. Heating in all the bedrooms was a big plus, plenty of hot water in the shower, comfy beds and the complimentary wine was heartily consumed as well. Thank you! We'll definitely return next time we decide to explore more of the Hunter. Dee, Ben, Kat, Alex, Mel and Tobi
