Situated close to cable car
I accepted an offer from the hotel for tickets to the cable car and a lunch pack. Clerk at reception allegedly had no record and made no secret that he did not believe me. I showed him on my laptop it was sent in time. Then he had to pbone his boss. He came back with a smug smile saying his boss said no. It is something that could have been rectified easy but the hotel did not. The young man at reception had a condescending attitude as if I am stupid, asking me regularly if I understood. It was not because of the language because we both spoke fluent English. Very unsatisfactory experience I would not expect from a 4 star hotel.

The location is ideal for the town centre and the cable car. The hotel was very clean, and our room had a great view of the mountains from the balcony. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our room did not have air conditioning, and the balcony is not private so we could not leave the door open at night. It was uncomfortably warm in the room at night, even in May. We were on the 1st floor directly above the restaurant, and there was a lot of noise early in the morning from staff moving furniture around downstairs.

it did have a boutique feel and despite other reviews the rooms were a decent size. for the most part, a majority of the staff was very friendly to include the restaurant, where the night shift was exceptional. the shuttle driver was very kind and worked very hard to get everyone to ski resorts.
like other reviews, the warm pool was not actually warm, it’s a normal size pool and nowhere to sit around it. the hammam and sauna were also very small if there was a post ski rush.
the rooms had no hooks for jackets on the walls or robes, minimal hangers abs nowhere to put your clothes. our door lock was broken, it required several attempts with with key, or changing it out entirely. we weeeright by the elevator abs it banged every time it hit a new floor, and with paper thin walls, we heard everything. beds were not comfortable.
The most notable issue was how rude a male staff member was to us with the lock issue. after having changed the keys numerous times, and inserting several times before it actually unlocked, we went to explain to him and I noted I would prefer not uo have to go up to my room again with staff to show them whether I knew how to unlock a door (as it had happened twice previously) he interrupted me, and said could you stop talking so I can.
then he insisted on coming up and watching us unlock the door, abs of course it worked this time, but it should not take several times for a lock to work. he was extremely condescending and looked at me and said “see, it works. so next time before coming down and getting staff, try the lock a few times”
it was extremely jarring and rude.

It’s location. View from terrace was spectacular. Breakfast was good too. Jo the driver was incredibly helpful and friendly.
We stayed in junior suite however temperature was far too hot for the room. There was not enough electric points. Poor lighting in the room. Doors creaked very loudly. Floor was freezing cold. Dog was next door and kept barking very loudly in the night.

The worse 4 star hotel we ve ever been !!! Supposed to have a nice experience but this is not even a 3 stars hotel !!! Staff is very friendly but this is horrible place, dirty and overpriced!!! Towels are smelling , handles & doors dirty , floor as well dirty !!! Pool is disgusting we could not used it , same with the sauna & restaurant as well !!! Photos are not matching the real situation of this hotel only the ground floor reception / lounge area and exterior are looking nice !!!
If it was not the NYE holiday we would of left straight away !!! The people who are rating good this hotel & restaurant they don t know how a 4 star hotel and a Michelin star restaurant should be !!! AVOID AVOID AVOID if you don t want to destroy your CHAMONIX holiday!!!

The view from my room was UNBELIEVABLE! The girl at the front desk was so sweet and helpful every time I stopped by with questions. Location was perfect.

the room was quite big and clean and the position was very central
the swimming pool has very cold water to be a spa. the bed in the room for disabled is very short and it won’t fit a person over 1,80cm. it is not written in the description that the bed is shorted than normal size so we needed to change room paying a difference for it.

We loved the complete package of Le Morgane. For our first trip to Chamonix, it put us in pleasant walking distance of everything we needed to access; and let us explore, then come back to sparkling clean, comfortable accommodations and delightfully friendly staff. We did the Tour du Mont Blanc, sampling a lot of breakfasts, and this was one of our favorites.
It was helpful to be able to leave some of our luggage in locked storage.
