Great hotel, quiet, peaceful, cheerful staff, good food, warm, comfy beds.

From the moment that you arrive the staff are there to greet you with smiles and enthusiasm. The check in is quick and smooth and the room keys are easy to use. All the information about meals, times and facilities are on the key card, as well as the internet pass. The rooms are lovely and clean with all the resources needed, kettle, cups, drink selection. The beds are really comfortable and although at the front of the hotel, not noisy. However, even ear plugs are supplied. The ensuite is small but adequate and lovely clean towels are there. The breakfast is outstanding with everything that could be there, is there. This is a fab hotel, outstanding because of the small charge and free car park.

As above, nothing was missing for me. I would have liked a better evening meal menu for the cold days, so I wouldn't have to go out to eat.

Very friendly staff great location and free parking. Breakfast was fab. Bed very comfortable and clean

Room on the small size as well as bathroom if not average size think you might struggle getting in bathroom.

Will definitely stay here next time we come to Liverpool.

Lovely hotel. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The whole area was spotlessly clean. Good location. 15 minutes walk to the centre. Free parking excellent.

The rooms and bathrooms are very small and only a small hanging space for clothes. Adequate enough- after all we were only sleeping there.

Love the location, we have stayed at the Dolby a few times now & would never stay anywhere else

Great stay. Lovely time in Liverpool and the hotel was great

Excellent location for the sights of Liverpool. Bonus having free parking. Staff were all friendly and facilities good

Bathrooms were small and the shower cubicle curtain attached itself to you at all times during a shower due to lack of space

Overall a pleasant stay.

Staff were very friendly, all areas of the hotel and room were clean and breakfast was nice.

The ensuite in the room was tiny. I am of average size and have no disabilities but found the facilities very cramped and hard to use. My wife who does have a slight mobility problem did not feel confident to use the shower during our stay. I think that the hotel description should point out this problem so that guests are aware before booking.

You get what you pay for but overall for the price it was excellent.

Lovely staff and excellent location to access all of the local attractions. Great bar and restaurant available.

The shower/toilet facilities are more like a plastic caravan unit. There was sometimes a smell of drains coming from the bathroom.

Disappointing bathroom and facilities and expensive for what it was

Free parking was good

Bathroom was too small and not enough space to shower, wash hair, shave at the sink or even sit straight on the toilet. Plus the drains smelt awful. Room was very small and more like a budget hotel room and definitely not worth £120 a night.

We had a brilliant time

The room was small but comfortable we only did a short stay, Easy walk to the Albert Dock and Liverpool city centre. Breakfast was very good self service but food was hot and staff were excellent. Definitely recommend and we will go back to staynext time we are in Liverpool.

Rooms quite small. Bathrooms modelled after a cruise ship setup but really small. That was really our only dislike that the shower was so small

If you are coming to stay in Liverpool, this is the Hotel to come to.

The Hotel is spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for walking to the Royal Albert Docks and City Centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to relax in the bar/lounge area looking out onto the waterfront. Our room met all the requirements that we needed and was cleaned daily.

We liked everything about the Hotel. One suggestion might be that perhaps more options for dinner could be added to the menu, but in saying that, we had two evening meals, and they were very nice and tasty.

Gem of a little hotel in Liverpool

Great location for a hotel in Liverpool. Friendly staff. Great view of the docks from the restaurant bar area. Nice patio to sit out on. Free parking and excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Can open bedroom window. Tea coffee and biscuits in room.

Maybe the lack of air-conditioning when its very hot but fans available.

I just stayed for 1 night, so I didn't expect too much

It is very convenient to park my car at the carpark of the hotel, and it is free! The view of the restaurant is good, and also the quality of the food in breakfast.

The space for shower is too small. The curtain of the shower was not able to stop the water from wetting the floor of the bathroom. Also, the water from the shower was weak.
