The price was good, the downstairs of the hostel was nicely done and albeit it was open yet the bar area looked good.
Thought the woman on reception was quite rude and unfriendly. Mentioned how I found it really cold in my room and she wasn’t at all helpful, not her problem sort of mentality, which I think is a bit poor.
Paying for towels when you have a private room. I understand not giving out towels to those staying in dorms, but I think to pay for a private room you should receive a towel and not expect to pay on top for it. There wasn’t even a hand towel or a shower mat in my bathroom - like they don’t want you to wash!
Room was very cold, I don’t tend to feel the cold but was really cold in here, and when I asked if something could be done about it, I was told they couldn’t do anything!

Location was great and the staff were acommodating
Shower was a bit grim, curtains let all the light in. Found a strangers toe nail in our bed before going to sleep which was horrifying. Wouldn't stay again

The location was great, walking distance to city center and 2-3 different train station. Loads of food places within walking distance. Great study/meeting room
The room was very cold and when i asked for the heating to be put on i was told that it was broken and they had no way of getting someone out to fix it and they also had not spare oil heater which meat i had to spend my night freezing.

The bed comfortable, the location and the decor
This is a hostel, which isnt very clear from this website. The double ensuit was fine but thin walls, could hear next door removing plug from wall. Had a very loud group of people screaming up and down hallway and hammering on my thin door.

We really liked; the hotel located in the heart of the city center.
The door to our room is not securely locked. We requested a room change, and the staff promptly assisted us. I believe it's worth examining the quality of the doors.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the reception area nice, so my expectations on arriving were very positive.
Really disliked the set up of the room! This is a combination of a hotel and a hostel, but as such the hostel side of things is not as well done as most other regular hostels I've stayed in. The room was tiny with no chair or any place to sit and sort your things. While there were some very small lockers in the room, one of my main issues was that they place a large wooden locker inside the area where you sleep hanging above the side of your bed (along the back wall), which means if you turn and raise your knees in the night, you hit them against the cupboard (I am only 5ft 1 inch tall... so imagine what it's like for tall people!). Also though there was a mirror around the corner from where the beds were, there was no power point, so if you wanted to dry your hair in front of a mirror it couldn't be done... and there was only one other very small round mirror in the toilet positioned at an angle high up on the wall, so I couldn't really see much in it as it was too far away.
I was fortune enough to have this four-bunk bedded room to myself.... but had there been anyone else sharing, it might have been very uncomfortable indeed - especially as the toilet door didn't lock properly. There was also one small matt on a shiny floor that I kept tripping over and slipping on. Never again.

Great location - close to railway station.
As it was October and it was raining outside, it felt cold inside the room.

Beautifully designed interior, fantastic vibe over the salsa night
We had 4 rooms and all struggled with how warm and stuffy it was - had a fan but wasn’t enough to be comfortable

Very nice staff, we felt very welcomed during the check in and the guy who speaks Spanish was specially friendly and also the other who helped me to find a post box nearby!
The room was quiet, the bed super comfortable and everything was so clean! Also 5min walking to the centre and the building itself is very interesting, as an old emplacement for the YMCA.

Bar/restaurant and downstairs entertainment area was amazing. Luggage storage room for arrival prior to check in. Comfy beds. Great staff. Great location with multi storey parking opposite and short walk to train station.
Asked for 8 bed room with 2 bathrooms and confirmed this multiple times with the selina team, however, they did not provide this and the manager was not apologetic even though this threw our tight timeline out. Luckily the other activities pre -booked were able to shift our bookings back.

Friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful sleep and just a enjoyable experience would of happily stayed for whole trip if allowed
There was a lockdown every hour on the hour after midnight, this is fine to check for noise but this should be advertised so people know not to come back on the hour just as felt a little unsafe outside for 10 mins at 3am.

the elevator. it’s quite old and rickety

Ideal location for city exploring and a reasonable 20-30 minute stroll to Anfield for Reds fans! Bed was comfortable and received a free welcome token on check in. Luggage room available if you arrive early but no wiggle room on 3pm check in time!
Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Myself and my partner got the full English with coffee and the only thing that was above room temperature was the sausages everything else was cold! For what we paid we could have had something much better nearby. Also bring earplugs/headphones if you're anyway a light sleeper it's quite loud. Also the door handle for the bathroom in room was very loose so couldn't close properly for fear of being locked in 😅
