Location is perfect.
Doors a bit old, air conditioning is noisy
7.0 / 10.0
The location and that it has a 2-3 bedroom options for families. The gym is excellent and has a 24 hrs convenient store for various needs.
The front desk staffs is relatively rude and unfriendly. I’ve seen the manager fight with it’s residents twice. Whenever I have to interact with them it was always left with the feeling of uneasiness due to their questionable attitude.

suitable for a relative longer stay, pleasantly surprised by an upgrade by the hotel. front desk who received us was friendly & made us feel welcomed.
lobby can be better managed but there could be limitations doing so.

Great location, 2nd stay within 2 months. it checked all the boxes. would definitely give the property a thumb up.
be more exclusive would be nice at lobby area.

The 6th floor bar and restuarant was a very good place to relax, apart from the western cuisine on the menu there could perhaps have some local food items.
The room's furniture, fitting and fixtures look "tired", time to renovate and have a new look. The windows are scratchy and dusty, my intention to take some night shots of the city was unfulfilled.

All requests met - very enjoyable
I thought the room furnishings were very tired - I think they are ready for refurbishment.

Room is big but plug points not available at desk and living area to charge phones and tablets.Bare room amenities.
Check in and check out staff not well trained.staff should not serve people who dont queue at checkout, its annoying but looked like very common here.Breakfast have room for improvement to match Ascott's brand.

Best imaginable location in central shanghai. Kitchenette makes for a comfortable long-term stay.
Building is showing signs of wear and age. Upon checking into my room I noticed someone must have previously used a sharp object to carve large words/numbers onto the window. Poor sound proofing allowed me to hear just about everything going on in the adjacent rooms.

Convenience
Smell from the car from last tenant, hotel offered different room but packing and unpacking makes impossible

The best of this Hotel is the location. In the heart of Xintiandi, and 50 meters way from Metro entrance. Gym is quite good, and the restaurant and it's balcony are the cherry on the top of the cake. Room is awesome and very big, which definitely is a plus.
Well, 2 people working on the reception (which I don't recall the names) were not so friendly. AFter COVID China has evolved into a totally cahsless society. Most foreigner which have not travelled there could use some assistance in setting up WechatPay or Alipay (both apps should be entirely in English, which they are not).
Breakfast is very very limited. You can choose from 4 disshes on the menu, which remain unchanged and are very simple. Was expecting more from it.
A/C is central, which doesn't allow you to choose between warm and cold modes. This is the most annoying thing in Chinese Hotels.

a bit dusty, perhaps due to insufficient occupancy rate?!
7.0 / 10.0
Good location and friendly staffs
Be aware that the TVs are very outdated and it’s a Sharp 32inch or (36 inch?) TV, no 4K and not a smart TV.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with friends and we couldn’t enjoy the living room as much as we wanted.

Location was really good. Great kitchenette facilities. Nice supply of crockery and utensils too. Would certainly stay again. Great value for money.
The facility is a bit old. The furniture, carpeting, etc showed obvious signs of age. The breakfast was a bit basic. But for the price you can't really complain!

Location, location, location.
Beds were comfortable.
Rooms were spacious and clean.
Hot water in the shower was not consistent.
TV was not tuned. Basic channels missing.
Staff at the front desk was not cheerful nor helpful.
Breakfast selection was good but food quality is mediocre. Fruits were sour and waiters seem like they are eager to end the buffet.

The size of room
The facilities are run down. The breakfast option was limited and not good
