Ticked all the boxes you would expect

Just 1.5km from the village in a quiet location. Assured Parking. Towels supplied if going to the Hanmer Hot Pools, a very nice touch.

Not really a gripe, but the upstairs bed is on a Mezzanine floor, so not an enclosed room.

Comfortable and homely

Clean & comfortable. Was a longer walk from the centre of town but a quieter area & if you have a car it’s not an issue. Well equipped & shower had fantastic water pressure. Couches were very comfortable

Mezzanine floor didn’t allow for a lot of darkness to sleep once the sun was up. Kids were very noisy next door

LOVED our stay!!! Would stay here if returned again to Hanmer Springs.

The three of us loved everything! The owner was lovely, the apartment exceeded our expectations, new and spotless clean, spacious and very accomodating to all our needs. Our child stayed upstairs in a king bed to himself and there was a sim light for him near the stairs which was great. Our only regret is not staying longer!

Nothing we didn’t like about this accommodation.

towels a little thin and scratchy 😏 but that was the only minor thing.

Very pleasant stay with warm and helpful hosts.

Appreciated that the unit was warm upon arrival. The lounge was comfortable and all the electrical components were easy to use (heater, tv, lights)

Skylight made the loft bedroom light very early in the morning.

Access Unit completely over-priced for what is a basic motel room outside of main town.

There was a nice outdoor area, good for families although the trampoline had no safety pads at all. I thought these could be easily purchased and added to the trampoline as it was too dangerous to use for young children.

We felt very disappointed and actually 'ripped off'. We thought we were staying in one of the mezzazine level units but found out we weren't, which was our mistake from not reading the information correctly. We wouldn't have minded so much but to find out we had to pay the same price for what was simply a motel unit was extremely disappointing. The Access Unit should in no way be priced the same as the other units, there was only one couch which wasn't enough to even sit our family, it was 10sq m less than the other units. The 'extra large double bed' quoted were just two singles pushed together so it was horrible lying in the middle of the bed. The shower was an open-floor which I realise was fitted for disabled patrons however when the shower run it soaked the whole floor under the vanity so you got wet socks and had to use multiple towels to wipe out. We stayed in Hamner less than 2 months ago, paid $25 per night more and had a full apartment with a full kitchen and a washing machine. To pay this much for a motel unit was completely over-priced, you'd be better off staying in walking distance of the town and you'd be paying cheaper for a better unit. I even mentioned to the owner that we were extremely disappointed in the price etc but we didn't even get a response. Will certainly not be staying here again.

Water pressure was top notch!

Loved that it was extremely clean, everything worked well. The owner showed us where everything was when we checked in. While we didn't get to go to the hot pools, it was good to know that they also supplied the towels for it, which was a nice touch. The water pressure in the shower was GREAT! Its very rare to come across something like that with accommodation.
