Nice stay in the mountains with ample to do on the premises.

Drak Gardens Hotel ...desperate upgrade needed

Activities Scenic views

Bath and toilets facilities in hotel were outdated. Shower in tub was very uncomfortable and small and unhygienic. Taps were difficult to open and close. No mixer was present. Rooms were musty. Spa treatments were substandard.

Amazing stay! We are planning our next holiday.

We loved everything about Gooderson. So child friendly, fantastic staff, and so many activities. We will be back.

The a le carte restaurant was very slow, and not attentive at all. We left after 20min of not being served. Thankfully the buffet restaurant was fantastic so we went there.

It trip was intended for my partner and I and due to certain reasons he could not make it. So, I took my best friend along... I had requested a special package and it was everything I imagined... Very beautiful and heart felt ❤️

Great getaway

Very happy with our unit. Loved the walks/hikes, the Adventure Park. Very well looked after property.

Got a bit warm during the night, so a fan in the room would be great.

Scenery is stunning had fun at shooting range using pellet guns, Sunset deck, stunning golf course if I do come back I would definitely play at least 9 hole.

1. Accommodation: On google page Gooderson Drakensburg Gardens Golf and Spar Resort is has the rooms where has views overseeing Golf course and Dam. That all we wanted but to learn that is the other "riverside" side only. 2. Welcoming package has champagne was not asked what type I wanted, I wouldn't have choose J.C Leroux I would not mind to add more money to get a better champagne. 3. Food on the 1st Friday was horrible, worse the beef. 4. At reception were told non of the places we need to book, to our surprise the restaurants were full on Saturday night. 5. Wellness Centre, poorly maintained, green water...We had a couple full body massage...the juice was terrible.

The kids enjoyed the pools, play area and put putt.

The one slide didn't work, there small insects inside the hot pool and the seating area by the pool needs some attention.

Great place to go and relax.

Rooms are cleaned daily, lots to do and the staff are friendly and helpful. Roads are a full of potholes, but if you drive slowly and enjoy the views you are fine. All in all a very comfortable stay with everything one needs to relax.

The roads could do with some maintenance, like most in South Africa.

the Mountain View

the rooms hasn’t improved from the time I was there in 2018. WiFi connection is very bad in the rooms. the room standard was extremely low. dump smell of the carpet, no option for tiled rooms.

Great value for money option suited to young families

Beautiful setting, stunning views, tremendous selection of amenities and activities. Great for families Back up generator

Some areas in need of maintenance and repairs. Shower head was awful, bed was hollow. Loud intoxicated day visitors
