View was excellent .we had a great mekong river view room and a good balcony. Property is huge and tasteflly desinged. Break was ok , not a great spread of fresh juices and fruits though.
Hotel can increase the fresh juices and fruit spread and even the bread varieties. Being vegetarians we are more dependent on these
3.5
Excellent environment, nice stuff.

buffet e camera
Mancanza di comunicazione avevo una prenotazione per 2 notti nella settimana successiva e mi hanno fatto pagare 1 notte , invece di cambiare con la notte trascorsa, penso siano Esosi

From the moment you arrive at this hotel you feel pampered. The location is exceptional, it is very quiet and grand. The staff are super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are incredible - super comfy beds great size and the view over the river is just breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast every morning was another highlight. From the buffet available everything was fresh and delicious and the noodle station absolutely fantastic. The staff preparing the dishes accommodating and skilled. The pool is a delight ! Wish we could have stayed longer.
Maybe add a couple more umbrellas at the poolside.

The landscaping was incredible! The staff was so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very soft.

Wonderful view over Mekong river. Very quiet place and good food.
Breakfast needs a little improvement.

The view of Mekong river in Luang Phabrang is great.
The good services, nice staffs.
The shuttle bus to town is convenient.
There is no shuttle bus to visit the old town in the early morning to enjoy the Luang Phabrang morning activities

the views are magnificent and made the stay worthwhile. The pool is lovely.
the food available was limited.
4.5
the property had beautiful gardens facing the Mekong, we loved walking the paths and sitting on our balcony or the patios overlooking the view.
we also loved the simple, elegant decoration of the rooms. it was very relaxing and calming.
the pool was well kept
the chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable to sit in for a long time. the back was not very high and they were not made for lounging. maybe adding a pillow for the back of the seat would help.
also, the construction noise was quite loud during the day which took away from the quiet peacefulness we desired as we spent time outdoors on the grounds.
4.5
The location was great and the view on the Mekong was stunning, although after the first.day the pollution got so bad we could barely see the river (which of course is not the fault of the hotel, but just be careful if you are going to Liang Prabang in late March). The staff was also very nice and always able to help with any request. Would certainly recommend and probably come back!

Everything was very beautiful, staff was friendly, prices was good, the breakfast also was perfect and there was many foods to choose unbelievable views. They also offer free shuttle bus to and back from City.

We got room with river you and the staff has been excellent
4.0
nice view on the river, charming facilities, big pool, friendly staff, and free of charge shuttle to Luang Prabang city centre (night market)
the whole facility deserves an update. Breakfast and restaurant are not exciting, and in general, I consider the price as too high for the value (elsewise, the hotel could be a real traveller's recommendation).
5.0
Beautiful setting on the river, lovely room and a pretty good gym. The breakfast was delicious.
Not walkable to the main town of Luang Prabang - the hotel provided a free shuttle but that limited our choice of when we could be in the town.
5.0
beautiful grounds, comfortable bed with super fluffy pillows, helpful and attentive staff
it’s a bit far out from the center however they provide a free shuttle and tuk tuks are easy to find to bring you back or the hotel will call you one if you missed the shuttle (at your own expense of course)
3.0
I liked the location & being by the water. The outdoor space was beautiful & had a nice gym.
They are unorganized & running on fair few staff - which is understandable since covid. The rooms were old, cold & not comfortable. The breakfast was okay but could have been way better.
2.5
Just by the Mekong
It’s too big, hence it can feel a bit deserted sometimes and eerie when the river gets foggy. Food is also pretty basic.

Did not checked in. Please ignore this rating.

Spacious room, nice view to relax at balcony. Spacious and relaxing hotel garden. Safe parking. Away from bustle of downtown.
Bathroom quite small and aged. But still clean. Water pressure for bathing is very weak. Difficult to have shower. Took longer than necessary to bath. Water is only lukewarm.

Delicatess of the staff
All smooth friendly and very very efficient
Fantastic staff from front desk to cleaners to breakfast team

The sumptuous breakfast with a marvelous view was a delight to wake up to. The beautiful grounds and the pool make this a wonderful retreat to come back to after a day in Luang Prabang.

Check in was quick
I paid for several days but cannot stand it and left after 1 day. The bath tub oddly situated in the middle ofnthe room without shower curtains was just something I thought was strange. I think for backpacking this is fine.
It was also noisy outside. Construction and truck engines.
4.5
I liked the location, very spacious and peaceful.
A bit far from the palace and night market. Can't walk. But the hotel has provided shuttle bus services.
4.0
Beautiful grounds on the riverside with lots of historical flair with a slightly morbid charme - which is something I like. Nicely decorated and romantic. Peaceful and calming setting
Riverview room was beautiful, too. Only 15 meters away from the Mekong with spacious balcony to sit, watch the river passing by and listen the cicadas singing. Only minus is the small bathroom but that’s not a big deal for me at all.
Breakfast was alright but nothing to write home about. So I skipped and got my food mostly outside the hotel
Good: Bicycle rent free of charge to get you downtown in about 20 minutes.
Unfortunately there is no soundproof towards the hallway - which really is pretty annoying when extensive door slamming starts at 5:00 in the morning by people who are leaving to join the alms giving ceremony downtown.
Most staff members are very nice and polite. Of all things just the check-in was a bit strange: No welcome drink was offered, no explanation of the hotel...

great value, location,staff.

charmingly renovated old palace with great landscaped grounds and a stunning setting on the Mekong river. Good shuttle service to town to compensate for it’s location 4kms away
slightly half-hearted approach to converting the old palace into a luxury hotel, e. g. great pool but then lounger area around it in a bit of disrepair. in theory you can order drinks/food there, too but no personnel- you have to call a number to order but no menu. one umbrella for all loungers combined etc. we didn’t really mind but for a 5* place some aspects of how it is run fall a bit short of expectations
4.5
Beautiful view of the Mekong River. Excellent room and comfortable bed. Staff very helpful, kind, professional and service minded.
If you want closer to town, there are other options. But not as big and nice as here. Also, there are free shuttles to town and back. All perfect.

Stayed for 5 nights in total and spend quite some time within the premises as I mainly visited to wind down from a busy period at work. I don’t regret it at all. Can definitely recommend this hotel.
- Very friendly and attentive staff
- Beautiful location right next to the river
- Spacious hotel with big garden, rooms with character and good facilities. It even has a small museum!
- Restaurant serves nice food, from western dishes to Thai.
- Fitness quite elaborate and equipment brand new.
- Shuttle service to and from town. As the hotel was relatively empty due to COVID, unfortunately, the shuttle service was even in demand and could be used at anytime, which was great!
There aren’t really negatives to this hotel. It has been great! Below points are mainly “nitty gritty” and more like the cherry on the cake:
- Swimming pool closes at 7pm. Missed opportunity in my opinion as some lighting would make it a great place to be in the evening, as the pool is beautiful.
- Big parts of the garden weren’t lighted during the evening, which is a pity as it’s the selling point of the hotel.
- Spa and second restaurant were closed, but I guess that was because of the limited number of guests due the recent reopening of the country.
- Breakfast was quite basic and inconsistent. Sometimes it did include certain items and sometimes not while I ordered the same a couple of times.
- The hotel needed some maintenance here and there, especially painting and cleaning of tiles and walls outside. However, they already started with that. Awesome!
