The attitude. Friendly and competent people run this place, they were helpful in everything, and even if something broke, they fixed it right away. The room was large, simple and clean, with a desk, chairs, and a nice bed. I had a working AC, a little fridge, and no mosquitos which is pretty good for this price. I can absolutely recommend it, the garden with the pool is great as well.
24/7 shops, laundry, restaurants are all nearby.

The location is good. Staff helpful.
Not a comfortable room and uncleaned linen. Metres was painful to sleep. Iron Springs hurt me. At breakfast , the plates were uncleaned, and those with dirty food remained on plates. The shower curtain was disgusting. More than that, this is not a star grade hotel, but booking.com was advertised as a 3-star hotel. I'm not sure of this why it was.

The room was great, plenty of room to get around and a nice desk for my laptop. It' great having a refrigerator in the room.
I booked a taxi from the airport to Bakung Sari on the Booking.com site. It was really nice to have someone (Wyan) waiting for me when I arrived. She was most helpful and pleasant. I would recommend booking you taxi through Booking.com and I would certainly ask for Wyan. In addition to good service, the price was less than expected.
The wifi could have been better.

Lovely old hotel with awful wifi in rooms. Pool is good, rooms are old and charming, real Balinese feel. Generally a free and open atmosphere. Pool closes at 11 at night which may be a problem in the hot season.
Poor wifi in rooms. Have to go to reception for better connectivity. Cleaning knock on door tpo early in morning...put the Do not Disturb sign on thd door.

nice location, a very friendly staff and really clean pool
pretty dark rooms, not enough lighting, and fairly dirty, and wi-fi connection was not stable all the time.
4.5
The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the surrounding gardens gave it a lovely Balinese feeling. I didn't have time to use the pool as I was only there for one night and I was busy, but it certainly looked inviting and was being enjoyed by a few others.
The bathroom needed a really good deep clean and if I was staying longer, I would have pointed it out or done it myself.

Food was Great

The room was just right for 2 pax. It has a pool. Best part is the location, it is within walking distance to Discovery Mall, Jalan Legian and Kuta beach.
The room lighting could have been a little brighter. The breakfast was meagre, they only have nasi goreng, mee goreng and bread with omelette.

Nothing it was Horrible, don't stay here
It's was a horrible experience, paid extra for room upgrade and buffet breakfast, took money but could not provide it , don't stay here, bare wires in bathroom, mouldy paint flaking of walls.

See first review. Stayed 2 more nights as wifi adequate for Bali.
We liked our room (with a good balcony) for the price paid and would have returned if the same room could be possible.
Nothing for the price paid and our room was very good
