Service, great privacy. To come for one night to sleep and hit the road, everything was fine.
A bit neglected room and bathroom but the price to quality is the most for yes

The room was comfortable and spacious with a very nice kitchen area and bathroom. It was on the ground floor which we had requested and easily accessible for us. There is a swimming pool in the grounds and we were able to park on the road outside. It was near enough to walk to the coast for tavernas and pubs and there was a supermarket across the road. The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us a chocolate. Next door is a bakery and cafe.
It was difficult to find as google maps sent us to the wrong place and even when we asked for help they didn't know where it was either. We spent a long time trying to find it and in the end a kind man helped us by letting us follow his car in our car

The host Maria was very kind and helpful with great suggestions for activities to do during our stay. The location was really nice next to the beach and I was glad the bus stop was so easy to access. The rooms were very tidy with everything you could need.

The apartment has got a grass area with some playground equipment which children like.
The room was not as good as we expected by pics, it seemed less in size. We had problems with cleanness, especially the floor was dirty after our arrival but also we had a quite old fridge which was not clean. Also we missed some basic equipment like liquid soap in the bathroom, sponge in the kitchen etc. so we had to buy many things that we had not expected. Kitchenware was quite poor we had to ask for one more cooking pot as only one big was around.
The apartment is located alongside a main road with relatively heavy traffic so front rooms could be noisy also the city center is at the other side of this road but pedestrian crossing is far away.

Maria is fantastic, and super available and helpful throughout the trip! She literally does everything! The location is excellent and only 5 minutes walk from the main street of Stalis, and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The room was very big and the kitchen had the basic essentials. Its very quiet on a night also which is great.
The wifi was very intermittent, and wasnt strong enough. I felt the room was a little tired and could use a freshen up, compared to the pictures. I found the beds quite hard , this might be down to a preference.

it did have a basic pool.
11 nights stay only stayed for 8 days, then found another apartment, thank god.
no hygiene standards at Iraklis apartments
I don’t think having towels changed every other day is unrealistic. after 5 days we asked and was told it was another 2 days before they are changed. I wouldn’t do this at home so I found this disgusting to be honest.
no toilet roll on arrival, we had a night flight so was not impressed. I noticed guests begging, asking the owner for toilet paper. I bough my own, shouldn’t have to ask, it’s part of the agreement for the apartments!
the 8 days we were there, no maid came into our room once, disgusting unacceptable.
beds were not changed the once.
this wasn’t the owners fault but antisocial guest next door had to phone police. what isn’t acceptable no support in the evenings owner goes home.
when I approached the owner the next day the guest wasn’t removed even though he threatened to hit me (woman) scared my daughter who then wanted to go home and was going to hit my husband. we had to lock ourselves in our apartment until the police arrived.
the conclusion the owner said “I could of moved you to another rooms” this man threatened us he should have been thrown out for our safety. unfortunately the guest is a domestic abuser, we supported the grandmother to move the young children and his partner to her room. is this really acceptable? no, but like I say no accommodation support at night so had no choice to support the family for their safety.
we had no choice but to move apartments. best decision we ever made. we couldn’t believe the difference in standards. Dias hotel and apartments are out of this world. I would advise anyone to pick Dias hotel over Iraklis apartments.
I’m sorry but even though the owner is nice at Iraklis apartments. it is very much a business and she is only interested how much money she can get out of you.

The place was great, really near to the bus station really recomendable if you are travelling from ferry or from the airport. Is near to different nice places such as Agios Nikolaos and Milos.
They do not provide you shampoo, soap, they don't change the towels and one bed was really uncomfortable but the other were fine (we asked for a room for 4 people). If you travel take the bus that goes to Malia, you can ask the locals where is the bus station and the ticket costs 3,80€ aprox per person and once you are in the bus tell the person that check the tickets to tell you when you will arrive to Stalida bus stop do not cross the street, the hotel is aprox. 3 houses to the way that the bus goes (right)

Very good accommodation, we have been here more times. It is in a great location (especially for those who travel by bus - 1 minute from the bus stop). The renovated rooms are completely modern. Super bathroom. Very friendly helpful owners. Thank you👍👍
