Location is great, it's near to X7 bus stop and at a 10-15 minutes scenic walk to Paulton's. Rooms were of good size, clean, comfy, with beautiful view, and with all the necessary amenities. Extra beds were arranged for the kids.Breakfast was good, dining area was spacious. There was an outside sitting area too. It had a car park.
We had to leave early for Paulton's park so we checked out at 9:30 am. We requested the staff to keep our bags with them as check in was not possible in the other hotel which was in Southampton. But the lady was quite insistent that we should take our luggage with us to Paulton's and keep it there. We told her that we don't have car, dragging our luggage all the way to the park with 2 kids in tow is not an ideal situation. We found it quite strange as all the other hotels are not so fussy, they keep your bags happily.

Staff was nice
Very very noisy
We took a triple room, the third bed can not work for adult. It was very small and uncomfortable
Bathroom was ok but sometimes we had cold water.

staff wore very professional and friendly at the same time.
the garden is beautiful to eat outside breakfast lunch and dinner menus are âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸

Breakfast took an hour to turn up as only one member of staff working front of house and an obviously inept chef.
Landlady looked like she'd swallowed a wasp. I get a warmer welcome when I stay at a Travel Lodge.
Being rushed to pay / order a last beer at 9.30 on a Sunday night.

The location was okay. The staff were fantastic.
The food for breakfast was fine, the evening meal was fine, particularly the Desert which was top notch.
The bar staff were great. The buffet for the afternoon buffet was good.
Our double room was bit small there was only one chaie,,,,, and the shower was very problematic, it went from cool to very, very hot very quickly and was hard to turn off.,....so much so we didn't use it the second
morning.

Breakfast was fantastic
At nearly ÂŁ40 per round for 6 drinks, would have liked a few crisps or something thrown in to keep the ambiance going

Breakfast was excellent, room was great but lacked a few things but not essential
Bedside tables were incredibly small

Location was great for a music venue we were visiting. The fact that this is a pub (serving proper real ale from casks) was a reason for booking. Staff and service matched the great food. Well done

A bit dated and the rooms were very hot.

Friendly staff good food
1st room we had felt very tired and we asked for a double and got two single beds. Asked to move and got a much nicer room with a double bed. Only trouble was, it was next to the toilets so alot of noise until the pub closed

Position to poultons, size of room, cleanliness. Choice of Cereal and pastries for breakfast, staff where pleasant.
I didn't sleep much due to the sound of the rain on skylights in the ceiling. It was heavy rain and it was very loud.
Sausages and bacon undercooked in the full English very pale.
Room very basic very plain.

The place and staff were good
Stay ruined by loud noise of air con or pump from outside our window.. we were kept awake the whole night, The hotel agreed we should get our money back !. But as booked through yourselves told ask you to sort it.

Very clean pub/hotel in a great location (at entrance to Paulton's Park). Friendly staff with amazing food. Dog friendly and even had a dog welcome pack in the room for us.
Older building with no double glazing so can be a bit noisy at night and expect cold in the winter
