Fabulous, a great place to stay

A gorgeous, modern hotel in a traditional building. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful when we arrived, offering us a secure garage for the motorbikes and letting us into the room early. The rooms were large and comfortable and the restaurant was great.

Great place to stay at

It was central and yet quite. The rooms had a modern feel and were quite spacious. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The food was delicious.

Excellent hotel with superb restaurant located in a very nice village.

Hotel rooms are super clean, well equipped, a lovely bathroom with a spaceous shower. The restaurant is top, with friendly staff and extremely good food.

For multiple nights, I would go for more space in the room.

The hotel is very near to station, rooms are neat and clean. Room service provided in the first day. The team at the reception were very cordial and extended all help in arranging taxi and assisting in route plan. We had dinner at the restaurant for some authentic swiss cuisine and it was great. Nice and welcoming staff, modern and clean premises. Good value for money.

Modern and clean room, location in the beautiful old city center. Nice restaurant, recommended for dinner, good breakfast.

Great location, excellent customer service and reasonably priced

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout the hotel. In particular the reception team were supportive in showing us where to park; and the friendly helpful service in the dining room was very notable - cheerful, professional and they could not have done more to look after us. We opted for a meal inclusive tariff, expecting to have to go beyond this to the a la carte menu - but the choices in the meal plan were interesting, varied and excellent quality for the price of the meal. The room was modern, comfortable, quiet and cozy, with everything needed to enjoy a short stay.

We had such nice welcoming! 😍 super very friendly Staff! Room is was clean, welcoming the bed sooo comfortable ❤️. Our furbaby Rocky get a little present which enjoyed it!❤️

Will definitely stay here again

The staff were very friendly and made sure that our stay went smoothly. The location is great, a pretty village with mountain views. The restaurant had outdoor seating and the food was excellent. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and had the addition of a Nespresso coffee maker! The parking could possibly be a slight problem if the hotel is busy but I’m sure there would be something not too far away. We have been looking for a great hotel for a one night stop for ages and now we’ve finally found one! We will definitely stay again!

No staff on sundays- hope you have no problems

Location.

There was no reception when we arrived at 3 pm alhthough it was supposed to be open until 6. Nobody answered any messages. I couldn't work because I was not able to charge my computer and there was not an adpter in room and nobody in hotel, This was supposed to be great 3 star hotel but did not have any staff present until the next morning.

Excellent location, great views, decent room...though expensive food

The location was great. I had great mountain views from the decent sized room. Room and linen were clean. Staff were really friendly in the main. Great food and beer in the main: excellent mozzarella/tomato/quinoa starter. Parking right beside the hotel was a bonus. English speaking sky TV was another bonus. Bathroom was small but well equipped. Very quiet location ensuring a decent night sleep. The area felt very safe and secure.

I had two bed pushed together which was classed as a double...this didn't bother me, but may bother some. Food was expensive for what it was. Whilst the starter was great (though at CHF19 was expensive), the chicken parmesan with fresh pasta was average at best, and at CHF33 was poor value for money. I was overcharged for food and beverages I didn't have...I was only given the option to pay in full and be given CHF coins as a refund! The gold throws over the beds need cleaning. Apparently I was lucky to have obtained parking by the hotel...even though the booking stated that parking was available.

A great hotel whilst travelling through Switzerland.

Wonderful hotel set in a picturesque village square. Very nice staff. Nice bar. Restaurant gourmet, so a bit expensive, limited menu so check first. Food was excellent. Parking limited but available and free. Breakfast very nice, awesome coffees from Americano, latte and Cappuccino!

Wonderful staying

Almost everything is perfect in this beautiful hotel

The only thing which could be improved is the amount of parking area, which you can easily find full. Maybe the hotel could offer a free parking spot somewhere else when the main one is occupied.

nice place but missing a bit of warmness

clean room and confy bed. nice hot shower

breakfast was too basic in terms of not having warm food. Gipfeli was from 1 day ago at least. nice well prepared coffee.
