Will return to this wonderful, quiet, comfortable hotel!

Spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean room. I skipped the breakfasts but enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the hotel restaurant. I loved that you have access to ironing board and other essentials

The employees smoke outdoors, at the back so if you have a back room with the windows open you will smell the smoke. Being sensitive to smells that was somewhat problematic for me.

Es war ein schöner, unvergesslicher Kurzurlaub.

Es waren helle, schöne Zimmer. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber . Das Hotel liegt im Dorfkern von Sa chseln.

Für uns gibt es nichts negatives zu beschreiben.

Trotz Kirchenläuten, das nachts ausbleibt würden wir wiederkommen

Frühstück war ok, Kaffeemaschine wäre vielleicht links besser platziert wegen Anstehen. Ansonsten sehr gepflegte Unterkunft und nettes Zimmer

The heritage, location and overall the place got a charm:)

There were no coffee maker, 2 twin bed is Uncomfortable for a couple, may be provide a mattress protector the room has zero view, feels a bit suffocating Overall, we felt the price is not justified

I would like to say a big thank you to the support staff. They were able to accommodate my needs and provide satisfactory solutions. Thank you.

The church bells are loud and frequent. It was somewhat inconvenient that there were no hotel staff on-site.

The hotel is in the centre of a lovely village, right by the church and 5 minutes walk from the train station. The bed was comforthable and the bathroom well equipped. The one night the restaurant was open I had an excellent meal. The building has its origins around four hundred years ago but has been refurbished to modern standards

The hotel has lost the concept of personal service. I like to be greeted by a genial host or smiling reception staff to whom I can address any questions I might have. The replacement of real people by automated check-in facilities creates a soul-less environment which some people might like but I dislike. Furthermore to discover a week before I stayed there that the restaurant would be closed on two nights, as indeed were all others in the village. Without a fridge or kettle in the bedroom options were extremely limited. Despite the foregoing I would stay there again.

very nice location- clean rooms and a great spirit in the historic building. Nice size rooms. with good beds and solid design.

self check in was a little confusing: Email said you have to make a self check in but it did not provide the info that the check in is actually a desk in the lobby

Very good, I recomand it.

The rooms from the Chalet are beautiful and big. Very well maintained. Self checkin very easy and fast. The hotel is located in a beautiful area.

A little bit pricey. Because the chalet is made from wood it is a little bit noisy. The breakfast is pretty simple, no vegetables.

We staid here one year ago and staff was awful, but this time all new staff members are doing grate. Hotel restaurant (evening) was perfect. There is one EU adapter in the room. Free parking. You can use small wellness center for free. But its very small, just for few people.

Very bad breakfast, there are nothing to eat. Just eggs. Mussli for kids from town store. Our worst breakfast for a long time. WiFi still have blind spots in the rooms. Church Bell is ringing from 7am to 22pm every one hour for 5 min!

Perfect as expected

property was at nice location, the house was clean, staff was good, breakfast was ok.

Only think I dint like about the property is too many files while having our breakfast that was bit annoying.

Location in Sachseln, close to lake and beautiful mountain views, room size for a family of 4, big comfortable beds, Staff specially the ladies managing the restaurant floor.

1. Male staff member, tending the bar, and tables, was extremely rude. He failed to answer any question/request politely,1 instead has been always offensive. Example - When asked for water, he asked whether your room doesn't have water? 2. Breakfast is quite basic, cereal and scrambled eggs, no option to toast the breads. I'd suggest skipping.
