We was welcomed by Paul when we first arrived who explained all we needed to know for our stay, lots of good information in room regarding where to eat evening meal, things to do etc Room lovely clean, very comfortable bed , and breakfast next morning was fantastic, very enjoyable stay.
The sliding door into the bathroom is quite noisy !

Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff

The breakfast were brilliant, especially the bowl of fresh fruit & yoghurt (it's become one of my daily staples)
The hosts were brilliant; very welcoming, very helpful and informative ... could ask for more.
Location is excellent ... being a 15 minute walk from the centre of Buxton was great, although watch out out for the walk back up the hill :-)
Would we go again ... very much YES
The road outside the cottage is very busy during the rush hours ... but you can navigate around the back roads to make any wait a bit shorter.

The breakfast was very good.
The owners and their dogs were friendly and welcoming.
The room we stayed in was self-contained, separate from the main farmhouse, and very close to parking spaces.
The en-suite shower room was clean and modern.
The main road or footpath back up from town is quite steep.

A very warm welcome after a long day riding a motorbike. It had been raining for the last 40 minutes and we were made very welcome. The room was warm, clean and cosy. A very good breakfast and of we went again.

We were made very welcome. The breakfast was very good, and the room was comfortable, but a little tight on space. The location was ideal with just a short walk into town.
The room was short on space. I wouldn't have liked to spend more than a night or two. We were fortunate with the weather, and so we're able to enjoy the outdoor space.

Lovely place beautifully presented. Lovely breakfast. Friendly flexible hosts.
Our neighbours were quite noisy, but then the hosts couldn't have anticipated that.

Comfortable place to stay in Buxton with friendly hosts and a historic building. Our highlight was the exceptional breakfast cooked each morning. Off road private car park another big plus. Comprehensive tea/coffee station in the room.

We really enjoyed the location, and the facilities, the owners were very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent!
The mattress on the bed we had wasn’t very comfortable, I know this is very subject but it felt thin and we could feel springs a bit. Also, the room was very warm which we recognise some people would appreciate, but we would have preferred to have complete control over the radiators as we are hot natured.

The fact that it’s a historical refurbished farmhouse. Great breakfast, ample volume. Owners were friendly.
Nothing.
But the location is a 15-20 minute walk from the town centre. Wish we had the time to explore more of Buxton

The breakfast was incredible! And the staff were so helpful and friendly.
in an ideal world we would have like a double bed rather than 2 singles put together, but we understand the flexibility it allows. Plus it was still very comfy.
