We did not order food during our stay. We were greeted by the host and invited to settle into our assigned rooms. The rooms are comfortable. There is a barbecue on the veranda, but we did not use it .We rested very well.
The lamp above one of the beds in my room was gone. We didn't look for one because we didn't need one. The other room had a problem with the lock. We got help from the staff and the problem was solved.

Friendly owner, nice with offering of dinner.
Hard time sleeping in night when people were walking outside door. Doors/walls thin.

We got upgraded to 2 summer houses, could use grill, it was perfect evening and night. Super friendly owners, there's no mobile phone connection, but wifi saved us and it was fast

The first of all - the hosts. The phrase "I can't let my guest to go to the bed hungry" probably bought me. The option to have late dinner it was great stuff. The breakfast - simple but still tasty, and that blueberry jam - it was exactly like my grandma was preparing it. Also although there were a lot of guests on our stay there, it was comparatively silent room. Also very good location where to stay after Diamond circle.
The room was really small without any wardrobe where to put the suitcases. The shower room is quite strange. I still don't understand why the door to the toilet was removed in the combined shower room. Hard to describe the solution, but it is strange to be in the toilet when just in the next cabin someone is taking the shower.

We were arriving late and I called the property. A wonderful lady answered and explained to us that no matter what time we arrived it wouldn't be a problem. I called her upon arrival and everything had been arranged. The room was comfy and clean and a wonderful breakfast. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Sireksstadir - our family of five had two rooms in the main house - one with three beds for the kids and the other for the parents. The rooms have a lovely set up, including a personal sink and mirror for you. Bath is shared and very nice.
One of the best parts of the stay was interacting with the host family who are very warm and welcoming. Additionally, the food was one of the best meals we had in all of Iceland. My 9 year old loved the lamb meatballs and there were nice vegetarian options to accommodate that too.
We booked this fairly last minute and are so glad we did!

Good directions to the location, super friendly staff, small but well furnished and very comfortable room, very clean bathroom. Excellent included breakfast with products from owner's farm, including fresh waffles.
The dinner at the restaurant was really good as well.
A little kitchen for people staying longer would be nice, but definitely not essential.

We enjoyed the beautiful remote location and the cleanliness of the room. We really enjoyed having a sink in the room
Check in was a little bit confusing as we had to find someone to help us, but after we did, it was all good.

Perfect. We stayed over in the lodge as a break between staying in the tiny campervan. Facilities were great and shower was very nice. Beds comfortable and we slept very well. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I recommend staying over here if you need a halfway stop on the ring road. Very remote location.

This is a far from everything place, very quiet and calm, ideal to rest. Was easy to drive (with maps app). The staff was helpful (including NELSON - the black dog that is amazing). They have laundry and a restaurant. I got a BIG northern lights (aurora) there, could se from my bed.
Everything was ok, nothing to complain, despite the fact that is little bit expensive (as all iceland).

The place is really secluded. Cabin is well equipped, clean and has a nice atmosphere.
We booked a cabin with hot-tub. That was the reason we booked the place and choose to drive some extra miles. When we arrived there was nobody at the place and we had to search and contact them by phone. Unfortunately we did not have the cabin with hot-tub that we originally booked. It was next to the cabin where we slept in.. and the one with hot tub stayed empty that night. So that was a big bummer. There was no staff at the place where we could ask to switch.

The owner is very nice and friendly, the breakfast was good and made with local products. The place is surrounded by the nature, very green and relaxing.
The cups in our room weren't clean (there is a kettle if you want to drink a hot tea or coffee), I had to wash them again. The place is a bit far from the ring road.

Very nice family, welcoming and very nice atmosphere:)
