Karlovy Vary znám poměrně dobře, ale v hotelu Imperial jsem byla poprvé. Vždy tomu dám teď přednost.

Žádala jsem o dřívejší check-in, telefonicky mi bylo hned potvrzeno a pokoj byl perfektně připraven. Ochota a vstřícnost u plaveckého bazénu a sauny naprosto výjimečná. Vzhledem ke krátkému pobytu jsem nevyužila všechny zařízení hotelu, musím přijet na delší dobu. Fotografie města i interiéru hotelu zašlu dodatečně.

Je to možná směšné, ale u snídaně by mohly být talířky většího průměru, jedno sázené vejce a pečivo stávající talířek zcela zaplní.

Kurze erholsame Auszeit mit einem großen Welnessangebot

Ein luxuriöses Hotel , einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Die Betten waren traumhaft, tolle Matratzen und gute Kopfkissen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.

Leider ist die Seilbahn runter in die Stadt in der Zeit als wir da waren nicht gefahren. Sodass es recht anstrengend war von unten hochzulaufen. Runter war kein Problem und ein Bus fuhr auch immer.

Das Zimmer war super. Alles sauber und komfortabel. Sehr gute Aussicht.

Das Personal war schrecklich. Unhöflich und arrogant. Beim Frühstück haben sich die Mitarbeiterinnen darüber aufgeregt wenn ein Tisch nicht sauber verlassen wurde. Es wurde in tschechisch über die Besucher gelästert ohne das sich das Personal darüber Gedanken gemacht hat ob man vielleicht tschechisch spricht. An der Rezeption wurde sofort englisch gesprochen ohne zu fragen welche Sprache man überhaupt versteht. In meinem Fall ist es tschechisch aber selbst wenn ich das zu verstehen gegeben habe wurde weiter englisch gesprochen. Der Pool Bereich sieht aus wie in einem alten Sanatorium. Wasser war sehr kalt. Unüblich für einen Thermen Urlaub.

Perfekt. Wir kommen wieder!

Die Halbpension war perfekt. Das Buffet war sehr umfangreich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es wurde auch ständig nachgefüllt. Großes Lob an die Küche.

It was a beautiful outlook over Karlovy Vary. Staff pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast was great.

Could be great if renovated and air conditioning or at least some air circulation was available

very good location, very green area around, very good breakfast (not much variety if you stay for a longer period, but still very tasty). Breakfast Buffet in the evening had lots of various food and we had different dishes every day. Nice procedures, staff was mostly friendly (with some exceptions). Nice bar and nice cafe in the hotel. So overall we enjoyed our stay there.

-No air conditioning, in the summer there is no air in the rooms. Not advised to open windows at night as the bats fly in (we had our window open and it happened to us). Only one mosquito net, and not in every room... The hotel must do smth about it, honestly it is not nice to have a vacation when you constantly sweat and do not have any air unless you have your door constantly open to the hallway, which I noticed a lot of guests do... and this is in a 5 star hotel... -Parking 15 eur a day , whereas we saw the cheaper underground parking nearby, but at that point we already paid upfront for 10 nights. Also we anyway had to shift our car from the parking due to some work and we still paid 15 eur a day. -SPA area is nice but renovation is for sure required -in the bathroom was no air circulation.

Karlovy Vary is a very interesting place with a lot of decadent atmosphere Buffet was nice for both breakfasts and dinners Glass (literally) elevators are fancy The room was large but see below

Our "garden view" room appeared to face a busy noisy road The room was soaked with old cigarettes' smoke Smoking on the balconies is not forbidden so the smoke from the neighbors is soaked into your room There is no air-conditioning in the room which is very strange for a 5* hotel One fairly small swimming pool and a single sauna is not what you expect from a spa hotel; other facilities didn't function Commuting to the city promenade might be challenging for guests with leg impairment

Luxury and relax sleeping in peacefull environement.

Very nice and large room with excellent balcony (corner room). Room was super clean and dinner selection in restaurant was really nice. Also funicular from near hotel directly to city center was really big bonus.

I would say that that airconditioning would be nice to have in 5-start hotel. We also wanted to have evening dring in proper lobby bar but that was not open (temporarily closed, but not informed in Booking.com).

We really enjoyed our stay in the Hotel Imperial. It’s very beautiful hotel in a beautiful area!

We really liked our room. It was big enough. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Stuff at the hotel reception were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with big choices of food. We used swimming pool and it was very nice, it has different water jets, there are also two whirlpools and good sauna.

It would be really good if stuff at the spa reception were more friendly. It would be nice if they smile. Only one nurse Jana was really bright and friendly

A very very wonderful stay that left a long lasting good echo inside us. We will come again!

It was nice that the Hotel Imperial offers LOCAL food - e.g. Rochlík for Breakfast and švestkové knedlíky. The personnell was very kind and we enjoyed the fact that we could perfectly get around with English and/or German. We had the impression that the personell at the reception desk, the room-service and the personell in the dining area was fine doing their jobs and enjoyed working for the hotel. That made it comfortable to stay with you and have a pleasant feeling. When I advised the room-service-lady that my pillow was kind of big and I got a stiff neck of it, she offered another pillow out of a variety of 3 different offers (!) - we enjoyed this very much and I am very thankful for that. Impressive.

The ladies at the Spa-reception seemed a bit nervous and sometimes we unfortunately felt a bit uncomfortable talking to them. We wish for an atmosphere in which we can ask something about the massages or even ask for a recommendation about massages without fearing a harsh reaction on their side. However, the were trying to be kind and friendly in the end. Environmental aspect: We wish that the heating in the hotel-rooms can be controled by the guests. The regulation was fixed and could not be altered by us. So we literally heated out of the window over night which was hard for us as we want to protect the environment.

Superior room at a great hotel.

Great location.Superior room was so comfortable.We had a good night sleep on their comfortable beds.Breakfast buffet so good with high quality of products at the Vienna restaurant and dinner was again so big and delicious.We used the pool only because we didn’t pre book a massage but we were there for one night only.

The tv was so difficult to make it work and actually we didn’t manage to make it work.We would have visited Karlovy Vary but it was raining so staying at the hotel was the only option.

Wonderful hotel in Karlovy Vary

The hotel is situated above the city in a peaceful environment. The building is very well kept and quite impressive. The staff is incredibly kind and polite. The check in was quick and efficient, so was the check out. There was a nice pool to swim in, the room was large and clean, with the bed super comfy. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The excellent extra bonus was the free bus and furnicular ticket provided at check in which enables you to go down to the city and avoid the steep hill. The city itself is absolutely stunning. All in all it was a superb weekend stay.

An expensive but invigorating experience

Enchanting interiors (like sleeping in another world), elegant décor, comfortable & spacious rooms (even the single rooms are great!), good food. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! Highly recommend it for a long spa weekend of relaxation.

The toilet paper was very cheap and scratchy. All spa activities and fitness (except for the pool/sauna) are subject to charges, even though the hotel prices are already very high.

All was very well only swimming pool was small for such a big hotel and only one sauna. Funicular from hotel to city was very good transportation downhill and uphill.

Car park was little far from hotel and it was difficult for oldies like us to go with luggage uphill 2-300 m

A fabulous place to relax and detox.

The location on the hill with a magnificent view ,the quality of the rooms,the spa facilities the food and the cleanliness.

One or two of the staff in the spa were unhelpful when we arrived late for appointments because of not being familiar with the layout of the huge complex.

Remote and clean. nice variety and tasty buffet on morning & evening dining. quiet warmed indoor pool.

only bath in the room and the shower head fixed to the side wall at 170 cm high .. not enough for tall guests. a bit pricey for what you expect to get

All in all we want to come back

The staff was friendly, our room was really nice and big. The location is awesome and the gym is so well equipped. Food was okay but I am vegan so the options are limited.

There are just 6 sunbeds for all the people in this big hotel. That was kind of a bad surprise and the reason why we weren’t at the pool.

I paid for the room when I checked in, but the room key card stopped working on the second day. I went to the pool and was locked out with just a bathrobe. The front desk staff asked me when was my check out date. Not managed. No apology was given even though we had already paid for the accommodation. It was the worst possible response. i will never go there again. It was the worst customer service I have ever received. Hotel Wi-Fi is weak and unusable. I also got a massage. It started without any explanation and I was disappointed even though I was looking forward to it.
