Amazing location, spectacular views of the Red Sea. Staff was polite and helpful. Excellent dining choices. Buffet in the Lobby Restaurant was sumptuous. Sala Thai is a gem. Rooms are spacious and clean and have all modern amenities. Suggest adding a few USB ports in the room.

Park regency is always my first choice hotel when visiting Sharm, I am always very happy with the hotel , service and accommodation. As
with most things in life there are some negatives, however, in the grand scheme of things, these are far outweighed by the good so not even worthy of a mention! I would like to give special mention and recognition for magdi and team , nesma and ehab at the salon, ehab a great credit to the lotus salon! Deserves personal managerial recognition! Also Omar at reception, always perfectly polite warming and attentive!

Location was fine
Bathroom sink was not draining, toilet would not flush and no shower handle to hook plastic head. Air conditioner was not working properly, asking for someone to fix it they sent someone and issue was not resolved he left the room and situation was as is. Old dated furniture, everything was old and needed to be updated, doors not aligned. Bad experience would not stay again neither recommend to anyone. Would appreciate a partial refund if applicable.

People is what makes this place really nice. Wonderful staff, very attentive, friendly and helpful. Facilities are a bit tired, but there is still this « grand » fabric of Hyatt which you won’t see in the hotels of similar pricing. Nice beach restaurant with good food and reasonably priced. If you don’t plan on over eating and over drinking - best to choose not all inclusive and dine a-la-carte
Bed linnen should be renewed, it’s a bit weary. It’s not a huge investment but one which will make a big difference. Also makes sense to use products for drains as there is a bit of drains odor in the bathroom

Big, nice territory. Clean beach with corals around.
Old, poor rooms. Staff will ask you to pay for switching the room. In my room there were a lot of dirty marks. Sheets and towels usually were with stains.
Food is average, mostly cheap fish.
No real animation, nothing to do with children.
I would say this is a 4 star hotel, and in this case reality would match the standards.

Only ate in the Thai restaurant which was brilliant and also the beach restaurant , also very good!

- The great help & Service of Mr. Mohamed Salah, the Front office Manager to Artem & Ahmed Sorour in Reception and Concierge & transport team Wael, hany, Mohamed, and Yulia.
- Service @ all the Restaurants was great. We had the amazing Karim @ Cascade and Mahmoud @ the Beach house and Aya @ the main restaurant tending to our every need and making us extremely comfortable, and well fed!
- The Housekeeping team was really efficient & professional, AlHussien took really good care of us and provided us with great service.
- The Diving center gave us some amazing experiences as well thanks to Tamer & Adam.
- The dinner options were great at the resort, from the buffet dinner to Sala Thai, it was so convenient for us to just stay in and get such great food and service.
- The ease of the Taxi Service was great (apart from the price)
- Wifi connectivity in the room was a somewhat poor.
- Temperature control for the pools (Not a big thing but good to have in winter)
- Lunch options were abit limited.

The Regency Club and its beach were the winners, and a huge thank to you to the remarkable Georges for exceptional service and care. Great beach location and the Thai restaurant is recommended.
Another a la carte resturant would be appreciated. Also it needs to improve access to & knowledge of its stunning house reef and to offer higher quality, customised trips outside the resort.

the property is stunning. there are multiple pools, a water slide and nightly shows. what I loved most was the staff, they always went out of their way to help me. especially Mr Alaa the concierge and Anna at guest relations. Ahmed and the other guys at the front desk.
the only thing lacking was the internet going on and off.

The location
This hotel should be rated 3 so as not to mislead the guests.
However, since the contingent has changed a lot lately, no one will notice this. Russia and Kazakhstan - monocomponent of the guests affects everything and mostly the level. There is no the atmosphere of Hayat anymore.

Terrible staff born 20 years ago and never heard anything about the work in hotel, they don't know how to behave, very low standard, bad manners.
The waiters live their "inner hard life", unfriendly faces - or, sometimes very familiar - they whistle and sing.
To the question: "What are you doing? The answer is: "Egyptian music." It is not restaurant, it is cheap canteen. People in shorts at dinner
To drink coffee, you are offered to go up to the reception area - only in a lobby at 7th level. Coffee machines are turned off even in the restaurant by the beach. Even for money it is impossible to do it.
If you come to dinner, no one will notice and meet you. It is a problem to ASK beverages. It is REAL problem.
The staff cry to each other - the manager speak very loudly. The cook comes out to change the pots of food and offends the gests.
The room servise is terrible - they gather together, defile next to the room, talk loudly. You see them all day.
The employee who cleaned the room on the first day knocked at the door and said - "I am Muhamed, I will clean your room". To make a change in the minibar, he came PERSONALLY, knocked on the door - brought water.
They do not even know that they must be inconspicuous - this is a serious management problem.

The Regency is located far enough from the bustle of Naama Bay but close enough to be easily reachable in a 5 minute taxi ride. Nice grounds and garden, several swimming pools and beaches so it never felt crowded. We discovered the impact that the pandemic has had in Sharm in general, both on the hotel and diving industry and on shops, etc. and it wasn't any different at the Regency. This used to be a posh resort when it was part of the Hyatt Regency group. Now the rooms are beginning to feel dated and ours was definitely in need of refurbishment. Ex. lampshades stained and lopsided, cupboards not closing properly, plug in sink not closing, paint on bathroom wall flaky, wc seat and lid not in good shape, etc. However, our king size bed was firm and comfortable and we slept well with the black out curtains and ceiling fan (aircon not needed in December). The location is still unbeatable though. We didn't see anything that looked better to be honest. Beautiful coral reef right in front of the hotel. Great for snorkeling and diving with on site dive center. Two tennis courts in dire need of repair. Most staff are friendly and helpful despite very limited knowledge of English. Clients were made up of 80% Russians, 15% Italians and 5% UK + other during our stay. Breakfast buffet varied but many items of sub-standard quality for a so-called five star hotel (more
like 3+ stars by European standards). Sala Thai restaurant was excellent though - we ate their twice and for someone who has spent many months in Thailand it felt very authentic. We would come back because of the location and the reef.
Constant Xmas music blaring in breakfast area (it was turned off when we asked). DJ on the main beach started mixing at 10am!!! Had to ask him to lower the volume on several occasions as it was impossible to read or relax. Pool bar staff not attentive and manager rude. The beach restaurant was much better with nicer manager and staff. Food ok. Evening entertainment for all-inclusive guests also very loud but luckily our room was relatively far away from that area. Must have been a nightmare for guests in adjacent rooms. Stay away from hotel taxis you will find local taxis for 1/3 of the price (or less depending on your bargaining skills) just outside the main gate. My husband had a pedicure and manucure and he was horrified by the working conditions of the pregnant girl in the beauty center/spa which was lacking badly in cleanliness.
