Superb

Really nice modern build with great attention to views and privacy from balconies. Room was exceptional. Swimming pool for the kids, and seafront for adults. Ample shaded parking. All very nice and looked after with attention to detail clearly in mind. Would go back to see how the place matures. Very pleasant stay.

Perfect holiday!

Such an amazing experience at Thalatta. If you're looking for a place you can stop, drop, and do nothing for a few days to a week, this is perfect. We didn't need to leave the hotel at all - the rooms, pool, beach, everything, was better than expected. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they really made our stay there 10/10. I booked in for a massage in the spa which was exceptional, and the gym facilities are small but very new and modern. You can even book the gym out completely so you have the entire space to yourself. We don't have kids yet but there were many children there kept entertained at the kids club. When we do have children, I would 100% come back to Thalatta as I know they'll have a fun experience too! The breakfast is also outstanding. It was included in our room fee and honestly was one of the best breakfasts I've had on a European holiday. So much choice!

Yes, the location is a little bare around (it's not like the Cyclades where it's a picture perfect postcard) and you can still see evidence of the fires on the hillscape behind the hotel, but we chose a sea-facing room so we didn't see that much. People do mention the price of the restaurant and portion sizes. We ate lunch by the beach and dinner in the restaurant every day, and the prices are more in-line with what you would pay in London (for example), so it does add up if you're solely eating there. We were very happy with the portion sizes (they're completely fine - if you're expecting giant American sizes this is not it) and the meals were outstanding. Everything we ate was world-class.

Beautiful hotel with polite staff if you happen to be in the area.

Staff is polite, rooms are spacious and very clean and the breakfast is excellent.

Not much to do in the hotel. Only 1 restaurant open and not 3 as per their website, open cinema only for kids, so it soon gets boring and you need to explore the nearby village which is a bit “neglected”.

Very nice hotel: beautiful architecture, great view, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, great service, large rooms and balcony (junior suite) beautiful pool and beach... Good value for money.

The only minor thing we regret is that our balcony was close to a main airco ventilation unit (I believe of the restaurant), and this was generating some noise. But that was nothing compared to all the good things.

Fantastic choice if you have kids older than 4 years old

Really a great value for money. Very clean, fantastic breakfast, fantastic pool. It doesn't have many rooms so the pool and the facilities are never crowded. Great work on kids club. Kids were playing and having fun there from 10:00 in the morning to 23:00.

Superb

Well designed property, on the beach, pet friendly, beach service, friendly staff, good ala cart breakfast though they can use more local products.

They charge 40€ per night for my little dog, unbelievable!!! They have no pet policy. Long and tedious drive to reach the hotel.

Good...but...

The staff. Outstandingly helpful. This hotel seems designed more for family holidays with small children. For that purpose it's probably ideal as everything seems channelled to make those guests happy.

Bits and pieces in the room were missing, for instance glasses in the cupholders of the bathroom. Minibar contents very minimalist and unappealing. Large bed was two beds stuck together with a gap. Beach is so-so and the surrounding area which was devastated by fires in 2021 will need a few years to look lovely again. This year it was definitely not picturesque. Prices in the restaurant (and perhaps the hotel) somewhat out of kilter with the reality of the offering.

Exceptional

The property is nicely designed, the rooms are large with beautiful sea view. The youngsters serving at breakfast are particularly kind and welcoming.

The daily charge for pets is excessive, while you are not allowed with the dog on the premises, outside the room. This was really an inconvenience given the fact that the offer of the restaurants around the hotel was rather limited. Overall, the experience was not what we have expected from a SLHW.

Extraordinary!

Exceptional in all respects. Gorgeous, beautiful, amazing, stunning, heart-stopping, sublime location. The hotel is modern, unique, and fabulous. Phenomenal views from each room to the sea. A perfect pacific environment. It is 100% worth the effort to visit this part of the island.

Wait staff in restaurant could have been a little quicker. But maybe they were staring out to the beautiful sea.

Exceptional

Very friendly and helpful personnel. The room was cleaned thoroughly and daily. The restaurant offered a good, balanced menu and a wide variety of beverages. The swimming pool was very clean, with a separate area for kids. Overall, what we liked most was the fact that the hotel is in a remote area, with a small number of rooms that made it not at all crowded, allowing all the services to be very efficient and timely. The design of the rooms (built horizontally and spread on two rows) is very clever, isolating completely every room from each other, providing a very comforting privacy. Although we didn't use the kids services, we appreciated the dedication of the responsible staff taking care of the small ones almost the entire day. Will definitely consider returning.

For a family room (two adults and two kids), we would have preferred full-size beds for the kids, rather than the coach style (with a width of around 7-75 cm).

Not a nice location, below average beach, nice design hotel, good service at a price, and definitely not pet friendly.

poor location ambience, poor state of the beach ( large pebbles). although they accept pets , THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY HOTEL. they ask us to keep the dog in the room!! what’s the point of bringing a pet to have it locked in the room and nowhere else in the hotel premises?

Amazing place

We stayed in a junior suite with Seaview. The hotel is great, beautiful and very clean. The pool and beach are amazing. The staff was amazing, very professional and so friendly and helpful. Really good food in the hotel. I would definitely return again to the hotel. Everything was great.

Not enough lamps in the room, very dark in the evening. There is not really anything to do in the area, the village close by is nothing special, but we drove one evening to Limni ( 40 min drive) and had a nice dinner there.

A very comfortable stay with 5 star service

What makes the difference is the staff. They are a group of young people very attentive, always with a smile. Food is also pretty good with several healthy choices. Cocktails are superb, quality of coffee as well. The spa facilities are worth mentioning and Marianna -the head therapist- is amazing.

Rooms and their furniture are a bit tired. We have been staying in this hotel since its opening and it is time for an update. The swimming pool needs an extra ladder.

A perfect hotel with so many activities for the children!!

Very good family hotel there are some many activities for the children. Mister Stefanos is very kind and professional!! Always with his smile fulfills all your wishes!! The girl with the short hair which was taking care of the children loves for sure her job and you could see that the children loved her!!! We will visit this hotel again for sure!!

The menu has to have a large variety of choices speaking about breakfast and dinner especially when someone stays more than 4 days , prices for some meals sometimes overpriced.

Excellent for family with kids

Excellent breakfast, very clean premises, amazing pool, exceptional girls that were running the kids club (gave some precious free time to parents), very polite stuff. Cherry on the top: they upgraded us for free to a junior suite.

The sea was windy everyday but nothing to do about it. To go to Agia Anna (the village) you need car - distance is about 2 km that is not easy to walk with kids.
