Convenient location

Location is very convenient. Rooms clean & comfy bed. Great place for short stay when connecting to another flight. Good rates.

Comfortable stay for unexpected travel interruption - but ripped off by taxi driver!

We had a cancelled flight by air nz so we had to travel to auckland the day before at short notice and stay a night by the airport. The hotel location was good and shuttlebus back to the airport at $6 for adults and free for kids was great. Good cafe behind the hotel for breakfast.

Room was ok for 1 night unexpected stay. The rip off taxi ride from airport to the hotel was a shock ... $50 to travel 1 kilometer ... !!! no wonder Uber is smashing nz registered taxi's, what a wrought!

Wall and facility are old and thin. I heard noisy and couldn’t sleep at all. I don’t think good cost performance at all but no choice.

Rooms are too small

Everything was clean, hotel is close to the airport.

The room is too cramped, the bed is inches away from the wall. There is hardly any place to move around the room. It is quite claustrophobic.The shuttle to the airport is costly, Uber costs almost the same per person.

Great stay, great sleep, great location - what's not to like?

The ease of access to the location. Easy free parking right outside the hotel and the bus service to the terminals. Added to stress free travel

Superb location

Very close to the airport! And it’s really convenient that the yellow bus just stops in front of the hotel. Highly recommended to stay here if you have an early morning flight ☺️

No breakfast option

EXTREMELY small space for 2 travelers with luggage. No onsite dining and need to pay for transport to airport with long wait for bus at airport.

Very suitable for our needs as we had a very early checkout for our flight.

Proximity to the airport and the cleanliness of the room and shower room.

Lack of space around and above the bed due to the bunk bed. Would be very cramped if occupied by 3 people.

Works for a night

Near airport, decent price, room was semi clean, bed was fine.

Check in was a mess, elevator wasn't working, bed was inexplicably on wheels that you couldn't lock. Common area could use a clean. Windows were kinda gross.

Great location for the airport

Great location near the airport. It is also conveniently located next to a good restaurant and shops/ supermarket which is great if you have forgotten anything. There is also a lovely open space behind it when you can go for a walk or run.

We had a twin room which was quite cramped. It also didn’t help that the beds were on wheels which were not fixed. It meant that every time you sat on one of them ,it moved - sitting up in bed was impossible as the bed would roll away from the wall - very odd and more than a little disconcerting!

Good for transit night between flights

Close to the airport, clean and comfy bed. Close to restaurants and shuttle from both Auckland airport terminals to the hotel so very handy for an overnight.

Microwave, toaster, dinner plates, bowl, mugs, cutlery, coffee machine etc in a lounge next to the reception for free to use. Not many accommodation do like that, I have first time experience

Congrats for the amazing front office team.

Staff were incredibly helpful as my mum was travelling on her own and didn't speak English. They kept in touch with me before arrival and during check-in, communication was great and everything went smoothly. My mum had a great time at Ibis and felt looked after. Congrats to this amazing team.

The beds weren’t stable. Couldn’t sit up in bed as the bed moved away from the wall. Had to lodge my suitcase at the end. Only one very soft pillow was available

Great location for an early morning flight. Walking distance to the supermarket. Tiny room, barely anywhere to put a suitcase down. Great facilities in the lobby for eating - dishes, cutlery, microwave etc.
