Beautiful beach and the pool with the swim up bar, fountain and waterfall was amazing. There are a few licensed vendors on the beach so one isn't pestered all the time by walkthrough sellers. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and lunch and dinner had good options. The mixed drinks were delicious.
Check in took almost one hour. The rooms are small and the shower stall was cramped. The balcony and view were nice. The staff didn't seem content. Our last night at dinner the manager accosted us rudely in the restaurant and caused us all to walk out without even eating. An unpleasant end to our mostly pleasant stay.

While it was clean the room is a little tired. Needs to be upgraded
Somewhat understaffed it seemed. No instructions for room service or to get help with bags. Phone had no directory. No orientation of the very large property. Very limited selection for dinner.

The staff were very courteous and accommodating. All requests were facilitated in a very efficient manner. I will definitely recommend.
The rooms need updating.

The location is great - beautiful sunsets and fabulous white sand beach.
Outdated rooms - could not adjust the cooling system - it was freezing in the room! Did not supply beach towels - staff was overloaded

Location! It was an amazing beach and it was big. Lots of chairs and two pools. Great price and all inclusive.
Dated, gym was in poor condition with some equipment out of order, no dumbbells and no ice machine. Also bathroom window, although it was high with small cut outs with the screen over it, there was no privacy as you can hear people walk past the the hall and they can hear you in the bathroom.. WiFi was also not good unless you are by the lobby.

The staff throughout the complex were friendly. The pizza restaurant was excellent. Very good cocktails , just a nice chilled atmosphere

I really liked the staff
The rooms need to be updated with new furniture , bathroom taps were old fashioned and didn't work well .
One of the double beds was made up with long hairs on the sheet and small inserts in the other double bed , the food was very poor and served up cold for dinner and breakfast, the wait for breakfast was over an hour ( not good at all )

The location was the only plus to this place. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS TERRIBLE!
VACATIONERS BEWARE!!!!!! We checked in and went to the room were we found a COCKROACH right under the rusted safe! Ran right to the front desk who tried to justify and explain why the roaches are there rather than move us to a different room. We went back moved our luggage from the room to our car rental then I went back to see about a room change and they said they would not move us. Also our room was supposed to be an ocean front view but had ZERO view of an ocean. Between that and a COCKROACH they should have moved us. So now after packing up the car I head back to management to see if there was anything else they could do as far as moving us and they started getting so nasty as if it was my fault, they declined to move us again and then proceeded to ask about making a copy of my childrens passports. I asked why and they said that they are small and they need to verify them. No where in their policy or terms of agreement does it state that anyone else outside the person who booked the stay is required to show any identification. I then asked what is the problem and at this point they were questioning my childrens age, not when we checked in at the lobby for an hour but now. My children are on the smaller side but are of age as I told them and they wouldn't stop asking about getting a copy and they made it so weird and at this point they last thing I wanted for them was to have my childrens information. They got so weird and then started threatening me saying they would call the police. When I asked why they said because they need to verify the childrens age again and would need a copy of their passport again so at this point my family and I with zero help had no option other than to leave and go to another resort. I have NEVER EVER been treated and humiliated in such a way as what this team/management did to me and my family. I would avoid this weird nasty dirty resort at all costs.

The staff were absolutely great, helpful & friendly. 2 outside swimming pools were good. Pool food & Italian food very nice. Breakfast in the palms buffet restaurant was very nice - freshly cooked omelettes to order, sausages, bacon, fried potatoes, fruit, pancakes, toast & yogurt. I loved the banana bread & good choice of deserts with dinner. No need to buy bottled water as available free. We booked a superior room & it was huge with good aircon & a fridge. Property is right on an amazing beach so all rooms have sea view. The hotel is in a great location to explore the island. We visited adventure Island to see giant tortoises. We did pigs in paradise which was such a special experience & we did the helicopter tour of the island which was amazing. The reasonable price of the hotel enabled us to experience these trips giving us such a memberable holiday.
The hotel had only been reopened since Nov 22 so not everything is as it should be yet. Check-in is very slow. In the evening there is only a choice of an Italian restaurant or the palms buffet. The Italian has to be prebooked on the day & was fully booked by 8.30am. The buffet had fresh salad but as a vegetarian that was often my only option. Even the soup & rice contained meat most nights. There needed to be more evening entertainment. They had a steel band 1 night & a group another night, that was it apart from music being played ftom a laptop but with the same songs on a loop. The beach & pool bar closed at 5pm which left a tiny bar open which was attached to the Italian restaurant. The staff coped well as the hotel wasnt full but so much more could've been done for the guests. There is so much potential. Our shower was only lukewarm but others said their water was hot. There is no routine housekeeping, you have to pay 10 dollars a day to have your room cleaned however the price overall is cheaper than anywhere else so it is still good value for money & antigua is beautiful so if you are aware of the hotel's shortcomings before you travel you will still have an amazing holiday.

3.0 / 5.0
The staff. The weather.
They kept running out of basic items like lager, lemons, vodka, tomato juice and other bar drinks. The buffet restaurant was very average and even on their 'feature evenings' the food was uninspiring. The rooms were shabby and in need of refurbishment. The entertainment consisted of a weekly steel band + nightly a guy playing music through his ipad who said he would play requests and then ignored them ! They are getting back on their feet after covid but seem to think that we should bear with them but hang on - this is my holiday !!

Hotel was nicer than expected, food was very good, calipso night was cool!
Just a little more upkeep on the rooms would make the hotel even better.

Great beach, beautiful mountains and trees at both ends of beach, beach chairs, pools, delicious breakfast and dinner buffet (despite limited but enough number of choices), free drinks throughout resort, not crowded on beach. Great value for the great location!
sink faucets are old, not enough fresh fruits (but can be purchased in a supermarket nearby 5-7 minutes walking)

I had no running water in my room half the time, the food in the buffet was awful!

We enjoyed everything about our stay, facilities, food, beach, entertainment. But especially appreciated the helpful and pleasant staff. Must mention Marylyn, Shamarah, Kenisha, Deva, Patrice, Julian and Devante. They were truly kind and thoughtful.
Really cannot think of anything because what we experienced was beyond all our expectations. We certainly enjoyed our stay tremendously.

good location on the beautiful beach, very large property and non motor water sports were included free of charge! also near a handy supermarket
apparently it has recently opened up after being closed for 3 years of covid! hotel slightly outdated and do with some upgrades, the bathrooms were awful and showers super tiny and old. also good options could have been better -was limited and same things in rotation -needs more variety

I liked the changes to the hotel over the 10 days that I spent there. The hotel was closed for covid and recently has a new owner. The service was very poor the first few days but rapidly improved as mores staff came on. There is ongoing painting, landscaping, electrical and general work going on with a large team. The staff and Manager were very friendly.
The property has great potential when all the Renos will be finished and entire hotel open. The price was right for what we got.
charge for room cleaning. Need better wifi. more fruit!! No sailboat!

The resort was not ready for opening, the manager said they would refund me money and its been over a week and we haven't received anything. We paid for another resort to get out of there after 1 night, we felt very unsafe as there were strange people knocking on doors early in the am.
Im very upset after being calm when speaking to them so now I paid for 2 different resorts during my trip. As a antiguan celebrity chef this is very disappointing. I try to xall.them and seems like its a front Noone answers the phone or returns message

Everything mentioned above was excellent.
I like everything about this Hotel as a matter of fact i will recommend to my friends going to Antigua.
2.0 / 5.0
Beach was fantastic, food and entertainment was good, great balcony with ocean views
rooms were appalling, worst i have stayed in. Tiny, cramped, 30 year old TV, dirty, all concrete everywhere in the room. No bedside tables. Bathroom awful. You would get back to your room at 5 in the evening to find the cleaners just about to do your room, when you wanted to get ready for the evening. System of having to queue in the morning to book a restaurant, which then were hardly ever available was rubbish. Having to pay for WIFI and a room safe, which has always been free elsewhere.

Staff were excellent and friendly
fridge in room
