Everything. Hotel was not as described.
Cannot use outside facilities as you get swarmed by mosquitoes and midges. Hotel right on the edge of a swamp, no pics showed that. Alot of pics lie, and didn't know rooms were right next to a fuel station as well. Constantly smelling fumes.
Objections raised will the lady at reception and got told to suck it up

Good size 2 story townhouse facing the pool, full kitchen, full size fridge.
No wifi password provided. Bring the crawling bug spray and Aeroguard, mozzies galore. Hotel could not arrange Hinchinbrook tour unfortunately, contact tour operator directly. Electric stove not so great. Tile floor slippery in humidity. No supermarket, bring own supplies such as fresh meat

I like going fishing and boating and if this is what you want to do then this is the place to stay. Every time I have been here it is has been great. This year is no exception, probably the the best stay. The one bed room villa I had was first class .
The only fault this year is trying to rebook. Made a booking with booking.com as I have every time I have stayed and after being accepted by the hotel was cancelled. How quickly hotels forget the dark times of COVID and the people who supported them through the dark times.

Very appreciative of the fact that Mary from Hinchinbrook Resorts was able to accommodate us even though Booking.com failed to correctly book our stay
Booking.com booked us into a room that technically wasn't available and also ruined a holiday, thankfully Hinchinbrook Resorts were able to fit us in

Fantastic place to stay. I would love to have stayed longer. A very spacious, fully self contained apartment. We were so comfortable. Less than a minute walk to the shop and bistro which opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals were exceptional.

I loved how the apartment was massive and roomy. It also had a view of the pool which was handy. Everyone was lovely and food at the channel inn was great too

I like that it set up for boating and fishing everything is there its all close fuel ice car park boat ramp wash down for boat . Nice pool for swim after boating and fishing all day. There is the channel inn if dont feel like cooking. Everything is in walking distance.

Good location, unit had everything we needed & great to have a small chest freezer too. Very handy to boat ramp & great to have easy access to fuel at town prices. Lots of room to have your boat.
As it was next to the mangroves once there was no breeze the sandflies go into the unit but much better once mosquito coils were put at each entrance.

Location was great, pub and restaurant over the way was excellent.
Unfortunately the bedrooms had such a strong smell that they were unsleepable. The odour which I assumed was mould/wet carpet was so bad it actually started to make me feel sick and chest tightness. We had to sleep on the chair and couch downstairs and close the bedroom doors to keep the smell away. When we opened them in the morning the smell filled the downstairs it is that bad. We went to advise the owners on our departure but they were there when we left. Room three is not habitable with that smell.

I was warmly welcomed at check in and I was super surprised with the villa itself. Quite large, and very comfortable.
