Very charming and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.
Quiet and comfortable, common space great for light working and perfect room to also work.
The restaurant looked great but sadly couldn't attend.

The receptionist was amazing! Breakfast was outstanding
Wednesday is a BBQ night - no other option available in the restaurant

Carefully renovated Chateau that makes it feel fresh while preserving its original character. Extreme attention to detail in the decoration and superbly trained staff all around.
The bathrooms are kind or integrated into the room, with a glass wall that doesn’t go all the way up. can be always for couples that don’t have a lot of intimacy.

lovely style, great food
My room was tiny

very confortable, clean and cosy; great atmosphere - it was a pleasure to stay in the hotel’s salon in the evening; exceptionally attentive stuff; nice rooms; delicious breakfast and dinner
little point - bathroom is not completely isolated from the room (wall is not until ceiling)

Very comfortable bedding, nice room next to a little river.
We booked the special dinner with wine pairing, 4 dishes, all very fresh, beautiful and delicious.
The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, the dinner exceptional.
It's not really a castle- room was ok but very expensive and no mirror in the bedroom, nothing special. Not enough staff at breakfast either.
I found out when booking that the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays- not a problem. But they do not warn the guests that there is no staff whatsoever, no access to the bar or even a kettle to make a tea in the evening.
We came back at 20 30, having had dinner in Morat, to a locked up hotel, empty , dark and dead.
At this price, it's not acceptable.
We are on holiday, and were looking forward to having a drink and read in the lounge, or at least finish the evening in style.
When we talked and complained
to one of the manager the next day at breakfast, it became apparent that the management is saving money by not having enough staff and he commented that it was a" bed and breakfast" on Wednesdays!!
At over £ 200 a night?? No way...
Don't bother to book with a Wednesday night.
It's a new management since after the pandemic, and a very strange attitude in September to welcome guests...

missing the mini bar, and toilets were not separated which can become difficult during the night
4.5
Excellent location; nice terrace and well designed breakfast / dining space. Excellent service and great food (we took the 4 course surprise dinner). Easy check in and we appreciated that there was a separate covered 'parking' for our bikes. The room was idyllic and cosy, with a comfortable bed and an adjacent 'dressing' room with access to a nice separate shower and toilet. We will certainly come back and wish the young owners success with further developing this beautiful chateau!
We liked everything

The location is superb. Nice, quite in the middle of nature but with close access to the motorway and centrally with quick access to the main cities in Switzerland. The breakfast buffet was generous and you could order items a la carte if you wanted. The personnel and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. If available rent the Citroen 2CV and go for a ride around the 3 lakes. Highly recommended!
There was nothing that I didn't like.

Excellent, everything really good, very fast and attentive all the time

The staff and owners were fabulous. So friendly and engaging. Breakfast was outstanding. The experience is one I wish to repeat in the future. Highly recommended.
The bathroom/shower/toilet room was not separated from the bedroom and 'open' which didn't give any privacy if you are sharing a room.
4.5
Friendly and helpful staff, very good restaurant with a nice selection of local wines. The chateau has a nice combination of old-world charm and modern facilities. Excellent breakfast offered.
The bathroom facilities in the room needed more lighting
