Excellent location on Agios Gordios beach

Clean, comfortable for a family ( 2 separate bedrooms) , good Aircon , nice patio, practically on the beach. Nice welcoming people. They let us use the shower room after check-out, and held the luggage.

Fantastic accommodation, staff, food & location

Just arrived back from a week at The Romantic Palace Hotel in beautiful Agios Gordios. What a fabulous stay we had. Many thanks to Alex, Stella, Maria and all the rest of the team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We stayed in The Loft, which was a lovely apartment at the top of the hotel complete with terrace looking out into the bay. Very comfortable bed and sofa, huge bathroom & shower room finished with a kitchenette and table. The room was cleaned everyday to a very high standard by some lovely and friendly staff. Some nights they left us fresh flower petal decorations which were lovely. Food in the hotel was excellent, we did not have a bad meal during our stay. Our favourites included Romantic Palace salad, Stifado, Moussaka, Pastitsada and some of the best lamb cutlets ever, so tender and juicy. Not to be missed is the twice weekly Greek Night, were some local musicians and dancers were joined by Alex and his father Mikalis. The skill of the musicians was brilliant and matched by Mikalis, as he firstly danced solo then led the audience dancing around the restaurant. A fabulous night to experience, with his own version of the Zorba dance and the smashing of many plates!!!! Thank you all , once again, for a lovely holiday.

Voilà maintenant plus d’une semaine que nous avons quitté votre hospitalité. Nous avons ramené avec nous le souvenir de vos sourires, de votre gentillesse et de votre extrême dévouement pour le bien-être de vos résidents. Le Romantic Palace vous accueille avec, à l’arrivée dans vos chambres, une bouteille d’eau ainsi qu’une bouteille de vin offertes. Il s’agit d’un hôtel familial et convivial situé en front de mer avec accès direct à une plage privée où les transats vous sont gracieusement mis à disposition. La cuisine proposée par le restaurant (l’un des plus côté d’Agios Gordios) est à la fois excellente et copieuse. Des soirées traditionnelles grecques sont également organisées par les propriétaires deux fois par semaine, vous proposant cette petite touche culturelle dans une ambiance chaleureuse. Et là encore respect de la clientèle avec une « extinction des feux » avant minuit. Nous souhaitons le meilleur à la famille Pangalis , sa fratrie Stella, Alexis, Akis et son patriarche Michaelis. Nous n’oublions pas l’ensemble du staff et tout particulièrement l’omniprésent et infatigable Théodore toujours prompt à tenter de satisfaire vos besoins. Great stay! Very recommend!

We had an amazing time! Apartments are clean and tidy and are cleaned every day. The family who owns the hotel are super nice and attentive. Greek night is a must :) Special thanks to Stella :)

No parking but you can find parking in the street most of the time.

Sehr schön 😻

Top Hotel, aller sehr sauber, und das team sehr freundlich und immer da wenn man fragen hatte. Alle waren wirklich sehr aufmerksam und haben auch immer nachgefragt ob man irgendwas braucht, sogar ein transfer zum Flughafen hin und zurück wurde für uns Organisiert!! Sehr schöne lage am strand mit Meerblick und das essen war auch sehr fantastisch!!🫶🏻 Vorallem haben uns die Getränke/Cocktails sehr gefallen großes lob an den Bartender Theo ein wirklich sehr cooler und lustiger Typ!!🙏🏼 Gibt nichts schlechtes auszusetzen an das Hotel!!!!!! Großes Lob 👏🏼

Perfect beach stay

Right on the beach front with stunning sunset views. The staff were so lovely and really went out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. Helped us to book paragliding etc. The Greek night was excellent fun and the food very tasty.

Special Place

The staff universally were exceptionally warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay - especially Stella, Aki, Annisa & Theo. I felt very at home. My room was spacious, had a lovely little balcony where I could enjoy listening to birds with my morning tea, and could also hear the sea. My room had all the little extras that add comfort and ease (good wifi, mosquito screen, extra blanket, good storage, fridge, kettle). The Greek night was really fun! Food in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel is in a perfect location, steps from the beach and sea, with sun-loungers as well as close to many great restaurants with quality food, and a small town with several good little supermarkets. I feel really lucky to have found this place to enjoy sun, sea, sand, tavernas, sunsets, lovely Greek people. Perfect for me and I will return!

The best holiday we’ve ever had, we can’t wait to return!!!

Romantic Palace is exactly as described and exceeded all expectations. Luxuriously styled apartments and restaurant, designed to make you feel special, whilst having a relaxing time on holiday. Whilst the venue itself spoke volumes I.e. the attention to detail was perfect (flowers daily from the cleaning staff was just one standout point to make) and the setting being on the beachfront was exquisite…the main reason we want to praise Romantic Palace so highly was due to the service from the staff. The warm welcome we received from Stella wasn’t just a one off greeting, her professionalism and friendly personality shone throughout the holiday…the perfect hostess! Teo, the star bartender, and ultimate cocktail guru, was the friend we never knew we needed!! Teo was exceptional, hardworking and couldn’t do enough for us. He was constantly going out of his way to make extra effort in order to make us feel as comfortable as possible on our holiday…this alongside making the best cocktails we’d ever had, made this a trip to remember. Romantic Palace is a truly remarkable family run business, we can’t thank Stella, Teo and Akis enough for our holiday! You should all be really proud of your work…we hope to see you soon x

EXCELLENT AND BEAUTIFUL HOTEL

The stay was SUPERB, the hotel is in front of what we thought was the best beach in Corfu. The hotel is little but beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly.

Fun, relaxing everything a holiday should be.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, from excellent beach service by Christiana, to Stella greeting us every morning with a smile and Elena even driving us to the airport on her night off when our taxi was late. The food was easily the best we had the entire trip, fresh and amazing quality. The Greek night was a highlight and a definite must see. You can tell the entire Pangalis family and all the staff genuinely care about the hotel and making sure their guests are happy and enjoying every moment of their time with them.

There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay.

We booked the romantic palace beach apartments for a anniversary trip which we mentioned when booking. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating, and placed us in a beautiful room with an amazing view. The room was very spacious, with a very comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning and a beautiful balcony. The beachfront has excellent facilities with free sun loungers and umbrellas for hotel guests. They offer excellent beach service, we got lunch and drinks served to us on the beach which were delicious, especially the Mediterranean sandwich! We also ate in the restaurant one night and the food was delicious, especially the mousaka, souvlaki and lemon meringue pie! The staff at romantic palace are so kind, helpful and accommodating and truly go above and beyond for the guests and truly make the experience 5stars.

There are a lot of cats, which we do not like. However, we are aware that this is common in Greece. Staff were very kind when we mentioned this as dinner and placed us at a table away from the cats and ensured they did not bother us.

Absolutely 10/10 would recommend!

We loved every moment of our experience at the Romantic Palace, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the food was delicious but the best of all was the staff - we had never encountered a kinder staff before. They genuinely care about you and wish to accommodate you however possible. They welcome you with a heartfelt smile everytime you cross paths with anyone of the staff - thank you so much for this incredible experience!

Perfect for couples, helpful staff.

Lovely staff, cute balcony with authentic country feel. Perfect seafront setting with views of the mountains.

Bathroom a bit too small, shower not great for somebody over 5"10, very little space to move around.

Spacious, clean, nicely decorated and well run... and right on the beach!

Fantastic location, right on the beach in the very pleasant resort of Agios Gordios. Stella and her staff were friendly and extremely helpful and efficient. Rooms were exactly as advertised, scupulously clean, with daily cleaning and regular changes of bed linen and towels. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the twice-weekly Greek night was a real experience. Highly recommended.

A couple of unfortunate incidents with noisy neighbours; but once we brought this to the attention of management they intervened, and there was no recurrence.

Relaxing, beautiful stay at the Romantic Palace!

Friendly staff made the holiday. They went above and beyond. Always welcomed you with a beautiful smile. we stayed in the standard family room which was lovely and clean and had a very good air conditioning which kept us lovely and cool. The view of the sunset from the restaurant was breathtaking. Plenty of sun beds for everyone and as long as you bought some water or a coffee they were free. We were very lucky to have seen two Greek nights during our stay which were a lot of fun.

Exceptional

We had the most amazing stay at Romantic Palace and I can't rate it highly enough. The location is fantastic right on the beach front, the apartment was beautiful, a good size, well air conditioned and cleaned daily to a high standard. The food in the restaurant is excellent. However it was the staff who really made the holiday special, never have I experienced such friendly welcoming staff who throughout our whole stay were so attentive and really couldn't do enough for us. Thank you, we will be back!

Amazing holiday

This place is gorgeous. The view from the restaurant is amazing, the staff was exceptional and very friendly, the rooms were very nice and clean and the food was good. Our vacation was amazing!
