Great bungalow.
Really nice clean pool, perfect for chilling out.
Amazing breakfast, great portion & fantastic bread & croissants.
Great location within walking distance to crab market.
Lovely owner & staff.
Room could do with more power points but that’s it, stay here it’s great!

We loved everything! It has been the most relaxing stay during our time in Cambodia. The pool is refreshing, there is shade nearby should you want it and the food is delicious. We can't sing Jérôme's (general manager/chef) praises enough! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay.
If we have to be critical, the room could do with a lick of paint.

Beautiful place at the foot of the national. It's a little green oasis to relax in. The Raingsey team is super friendly and helpful.
Our room was very clean and comfy but probably needs some minor/cosmetic work done.

Pre stay information was clear and helpful. Booking the onward taxi to the port was efficient and well advised to allow more time for the 20km of earth road. Thank you!
It’s a laid back, hospitable setting. Excellent location for walking to the crab market and delicious seafood restaurants. We ate waterside at Holy Crab and Kimly. It’s a short uphill walk to the National forest entry gate. Take a Tuk Tuk to the crab statue or enjoy the cooler, flat coast walk around the bay past the crab market. Lots of local options to cook there for lunch.
Things we loved:
The design of the main lodge
Landscaping and relaxing pool setting; low mood music
Excellent coffee and French baguette and pastry option at breakfast (other a la carte options available)
Enjoyable tour of K Trach caves by Cambodian Tuk Tuk
Massage options in your room for under $20
A small library, playing cards and a few gift items to browse
Lunch options- the prawn salad was delicious and craft beer options
Beds were comfortable - we would certainly recommend this intimate, relaxed, well located bungalow setting!
Even better if:
Mosquito burners were provided for the room/deck
Shower cap request option at reception when travelling - thank you for the use of a central hairdryer ( sometimes needed!)
Plain yoghurt option, avoidance of individual plastic yoghurt pots since the hotel are reducing plastic through refillable water bottles

This place was great! Perfect location, near the National park and off the main road but just a quick walk from the crab market and restaurants. Pool was great. Breakfast was unreal for a free Brekky! So yum. Thanks for having us

The location and breakfast
I didnt not like the fact it states everything is inclusive including fees and tax. I pay with my card and noticed the numbers appeared to have be inverted instead of 212 the charge was 221. I was told that was a tax for using my credit card. The website states what kind of cash it receives it should also include a note stating there is approx. 2.9% tax on the total if you use a credit card. My receipt only has 212.00 she did not include the tax charge on my hand written receipt she handed me and I gave her my card thinking I was going to be charged 212.00 instead I was charged 221.00. It is the point. I only stayed a very short time if someone stays for 2 weeks it could add up. Not good business be upfront with guests so they know how much is going to be charged not after the fact. I didnt like the fact the cushions to sit on in the cottage was unsanitary and ripped obviously been that way for awhile.

Spacious room, 10/10 for the pillow, it's was super comfy! The restaurant is nice, breakfast is filling, they make their own bread which is yum. Pool facilities are slightly worn off, but it doesn't spoil the impression, the pool is nice to chill in. Very green and peaceful!!
Everything was good 😉

All staff, particularly Marie, were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and food options all day long were great. The pool was clean and that helped guests to relax. The crab market is accessible from the property. We like how quiet it was at night, which made our stay comfortable.
Nothing! :) Wish we could have stayed longer.

We adored absolutely everything about this beautiful oasis in Kep: gorgeous garden, pool and bar, very chilled out vibe and really lovely staff - mega thanks to Jerome in particular who was hugely helpful and kind. This is a really special small boutique hotel at a very reasonable price.
Nothing at all! Rooms are functional and comfortable with super big beds

The breakfast is great in the morning, the staff are really nice, the pool and bar area is also very tranquil and relaxing.
The bungalows need a bit of love as there are stains on the walls and the curtains and definitely a mosquito net for beds as there are a lot of mosquitos there.

One of the best places to stay in terms of money/facilities ratio. Spacious bungalows, very good bed. Special should out for a comfortable pillow! ❤️
Good food, nice breakfast, craft beer and swimming pool add up to the beauty of this place. Highly recommend!

Great location, comfortable bungalows, good breakfast, loved the beer on tap, great french wines especially the rose, awesome staff 😄 especially Marie, fabulous salt water pool. Was great to learn from Danny about his life there, over a one or two cold ones.
Kep a fab place to visit, eat fresh fish and chill. A must place to see.
That we had to leave!

We loved staying at the bungalows. The superior bungalow was beautifully laid out. The pool was exceptional - sparklingly clean and really the surrounding terrace an enjoyable place to while away hours relaxing/reading on hammocks and loungers. We also enjoyed the informal atmosphere by the bar, chatting to other guests and the hearing from the brilliantly helpful manager. The bungalows are very quiet but only a couple/few minutes walk from a the Kep crab market and a selection of water side restaurants, or (in the opposite direction) the Kep National Park.
We loved staying, nothing to dislike.

One of the staffs name Marie (if I'm correct) is friendly and you get to know more about Cambodia through her.
Some of the bungalows do not get enough wifi strength. Their twin bed room does not have solid door for toilet and shower. So, not enough privacy if you are not that closed relationship to each other.

A lovely stay at Raingsey - we very much enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the resort, the pool/grounds, chatting with the hospitable owner and staff. We also loved the live music at Kep Natural on a Sat evening. Staff are very helpful in arranging transport for outings.
Breakfast was great, good options and plentiful. Cocktails were great and the craft beer on tap an unexpected bonus!

- Marie and Danny were great hosts, we arrived late in the evening and we were welcomed and offered food and drinks. They offered lots of advice on what to see and do and Danny even offered to be our escort for trips!
- Craft beers on tap and bottles! Marie recommended the hard lemonade with gin and hibiscus, it was delicious!
- Tasty breakfast which was huge
- Lovely garden area and pool
- Close to the crab market and entrance to the National park
Nothing, would stay again!
