Perfect accommodation that had it all: extremely clean, comfortable beds, very tasty and varied breakfast and the villa is located right next to an onsen. The team was very friendly and helpful and their hospitality made it really hard to leave this beautiful village.

The accommodation is handy for skiing as you can walk to one of the ski lifts to make it convenient and one of the onsen in town is also a few minutes walk.
The bed was too soft for my liking.

When I stayed there we received a ton of snow. As a result, my car was stuck and could not drive out of the parking space. The hotel staff was great and went above and beyond helping me to unbury my car. Thanks! Also, the property was walking distance to the onsen, skii lift and rental shops.

The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help you. They organised a vegan breakfast for us. Helped us sort out ski rentals and helped book our luggage courier the way home. The hotel is 2 minutes from an onsen and less than 5 minutes from the slopes.
Its a little way out of town so you have to walk about 15 minutes to get to most restuarants. But there are a few great options close by if you'd rather

it was good and big enough room for 5 people. there was a fire in the lounge room and it was good.
people working there was friendly and really nice. location is also good for going ski/snowboard. there was free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. there was kids play room and our child was so happy to play there.
it was so cold room. Heater was not strong enough for that room because it was old. We had shower on the second day because it’s too cold to go to Onsen but water was freezing. I can’t believe hot water doesn’t come out in the middle of winter at bath room. there was a heater in the bathroom but fuel was run out so we couldn’t use it. anyway it was freezing. there was no hot water at toilet sink. There was sometimes hot water came out but it was so weak. there was no convenience store or super market nearby and vending machine was out of order at the hotel so we couldn’t get drinks easily.

Smooth arrival, clean room, quiet, great for families, near a lift so easy to get on the slopes.

The hotel was easy to find and only a short walk from the busier part of the main street. The breakfast was different each day with something prepared, such as bacon and eggs, omelette, Japanese style breakfast. There was also a selection of toast, cereal, tea, coffee etc. There’s also a fantastic bakery not a minutes walk away. There’s an onsen right behind the hotel, which was great after a day of snowboarding. The storage space for winter sports was great, spacious and tidy. There’s also a dry room for clothes and boots. They have a washing service, so if you stay for a while that can be handy.
The staff are so friendly and all the people staying were a mix of singles, couples/friends and families, everyone was respectful and quiet at night. The room with the bathroom was lovely and renovated fairly recently, so very functional and clean.
We will definitely stay again and look forward to it!

I stayed here for 4 days worst decision to choose this hotel in the Nozawa area. This place is run by a bunch of ex-pats living in that area who has no knowledge or experience of Japanese hospitality. Do Not take the ski lessons organized by them the ski organizer Hugo is a very rude and disrespectful person, he was forcing me to take a lesson when there were avalanche and storm warning. All the shower rooms and bath areas were not clean at all no hot water available in the hotel. Staff will go AOL between noon to evening and the location of the hotel is far off from the main street you will need a personal vehicle or drop-off arrange by the hotel to go to any main spot in the city but while coming back you are on your own.

Staffs are really helpful. We have troubling sending ski to next resort due to heavy snow, but staffs really help us to figure out. Hotel also located just about 5 min walk to ski lift and very close to the town. Great place!
