Good food.
Nice staff.
Nice beach.
Beautiful site.
Room hallways very noisy.
Alcohol cocktails not great.
4.3
Private beach access was everything. The location of this property meant it was private beach access to hotel guests only. Enough sun loungers by the pool or on the sand.
Staff were very attentive, shout out to jing who organised our watersport activity.
Staff and food at the italian restaurant brezza was great.
Breakfast had so much choices and was tasty.
Rooms were spacious and our room had a balcony and a rack was provided to dry wet clothes.
Housekeeping were very quick to respond to requests.
We booked a private transfer from the airport there and back--- they made such a seamless journey of land-water-land transfer and this hassle free travel was worth every penny.
Reception toilet-- the area is big enough for a baby change table (I find this is an issue in general in the philippines). Where do people change their babies?
The market restaurant ala carte menu- more vegetable options for side dishes/accompaniment would be great. The menu was meat heavy and hardly any vegetable.
The market--- please have air-conditioning. It is so warm in there and makes meal times uncomfortable.

The exclusivity, not crowded
The sofa and remote were a bit sticky

The resort offers an unforgettable paradise experience. It has a beautiful private beach, a spectacular pool, that locates in the center of the hotel, a tropical garden, a river with fish. Long story short: this is a perfect place to escape from reality and get a top-notch island life exposure.
For those, who want to see local life, the hotel provides a free Shuttle Bus to the Boracay Island Center- D'Mall, where you can find a range of small shops, supermarket, cafés and restaurants.
The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful: and I would like to use this chance to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel's CONCIERGE SERVICE!!! On my way to the island, the airline misplaced my luggage, apparently it was left behind in Manila airport. Imagine my frustration, when I arrived to the hotel without my suitcase, where was all my clothes and most importantly my medicine and vital vitamins. The concierge service worked till midnight (although their working time was only till 10PM) staying in touch with airport rep at Caticlan and with airline itself to locate my baggage. Because of their hard work and dedication, I managed to received my luggage on the following day. Moreover, I was granted free late check out, so I could make it up from all stress caused by off-loaded luggage. TRULY GRATEFUL!!!

Location was good pool was excellent
Breakfast was not up to what I expected, staff are great with exception to one who took advantage of my kindness and managed to pull a fast one on me and swindled few pissos of me which was not nice.
On checking out I was charged extra $60.00 for something that it was not mine good I spotted it and the entry was reversed so check your bills..

The room was spacious with good air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is superb - the hotel has its own private, sandy beach (Punta Bunga). There is a Shangri-La hotel next door and it is possible to book meals in its restaurants too, which the Movenpick reception staff will help you to arrange. The full buffet breakfast is comprehensive and you can sit outside by the large pool to eat.
Items such as the butter and cold-cuts at breakfast are not in a chiller so can be a bit melted and warm when you consume them. The hotel is just to the north of the main "stations" on the island so you will need to make use of the electric Tuk-tuks (around P400 each way) when you want to go "into town". However, the plus side to this is that there is no passing traffic so the hotel is in a very peaceful location.

The beach. The pool. The staff. Music entertainment and fire show. Luis Gonzales was excellent. Took care of business the right way. If you stay, contact Luis.
Location to other areas of the island. Transportation to other parts of the island. Electric trikes. Some staff members were making excuses for their bad customer service. Better access to the top of the hill of the property. Designated kids zone for pool area. Not many trash receptacle in common areas. Dirty fish pond. Power outage.

Perfect hotel out of the 3 in station 0. We had an amazing stay here. The room was in excellent condition, the staff were very attentive and the food was superb. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who is planning to stay in Boracay.

Stunning room, large and well decorated.
The hotel is a haven of peace, a big swimming pool with different levels and different deep that kids and adults can enjoy.
The restaurants surrounding the swimming pool allow you to enjoy the meal.
The beach is amazing, very clean, and with a lot of facilities to enjoy the ocean. We were able to go snorkeling.
For breakfast, we had a delicious buffet well-stocked. We tried 3 restaurants, and all the food was delicious.
More kinds of fruit at breakfast will be nice.

The Movenpick in Boracay is located at Station 0. It has a private beach shared with the Shangri La. That said the beach isn't fluffy white sand but "shelly" and some big pieces of coral. Not the most pleasant feeling for your feet but the hotel would clean the beach every morning before the first guests would get to it. Incredible sunsets.
The pools were fantastic and perfect for family. The foot cleaning stations were well placed and ideal but the beach shower seemed like an after thought, had no water pressure and just wasn't on point.
The breakfast is a buffet style, and while we were there the restaurants were packed, the food was spread throughout the venue and you had to hunt for things. Overall the breakfast was... ok. The one highlight was the Italian restaurant with great pizzas.
The room...
The intent and services available at the resort were nice but the quality wasn't near what we expected for the Movenpick. Regardless, I can see it a good place for families but don't expect to drop the kids off at the day care, hotel staff stated one parent has to stay, which kind of defeats the purpose of dropping the kids off. Not cool to place that on the advertisements.
The Movenpick is supposed to be high quality but we had many issues with this stay. The venue even though its far from everything was nice, a great beach setup and overall the bar service was top notch. That's about it though.
The venue is old and dated and the room we stayed in was definitely budget. We had frayed towels, service every other day, our view was literally a wall with some construction and workers starting at 0700 every morning we were there. We were there almost 7 days or maybe more. We tried reserving cabs with the front desk multiple times and reception would confirm it but once we got to the valet and taxi area they would be completely in the dark and tell us that reception never passed the message. One time we called the night prior and early in the morning to confirm a taxi because we had a tour and we were told on both occasions that the taxi would be there for us, when we got there they told us they forgot to call a taxi for us and if we wanted to get a taxi we would have to climb the hill to the main road to flag one down. The same happened with the Spa, we called the front desk to make the reservation, they said ok and when I showed up the spa had no clue I was coming. Luckily they had a free spot that just canceled or else I wouldn't have had a chance to get in. The food was really hit or miss other than the pizzas. On one occasion they were having a "street food" style fair and they had food from everywhere, the paella my wife chose was just mush, terrible. However the BBQ skewers were fantastic. The same experience with the staff, some were fantastic and others were just not nice or completely inattentive.
It would be hard to go back to that location after our stay. Just wasn't what we expected from a Movenpick.
Almost forgot - no drone use whatsoever.

The property is clean and the room is spacious. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would like to personally thank the staff at the Market restaurant for looking after my partner who have dairy intolerant issue.

Wonderful beach (better than Shangri La) great hotel facilities and layout - distributes the guests really well.
Massages are great, rooms are great, restaurants are great. Really an amazing spot for the money!
Nothing to complain about, it would be awesome if one could rent a Hobie Cat or small sailboat at the resort.
4.3
The location, beach and pool were great. The staff was also good
The room view. While it said garden view, it was actually a wall in front of us. And despite requesting for a change of room, it wasn’t done. Also the food was very ordinary
4.3
Stunning structure, one of the few in borocay with a private beach. Spacious bright rooms. Breakfast to die for, very nice cuisine in a la carte restaurants too. The free "chocolate hour" is the cherry on top.
Very well kept and clean.
Staff is super friendly and professional.
Super relaxing spa

I like the location and the staff are all very polite.
During my stay, I could only avail of in-room service by in-person communication despite having to call in multiple occasions from the phone. Nevertheless, I was accomodated with my request which was being actioned promptly when I went straight to reception and the restaurant. The weather condition was not ideal during my stay due to the storm, hence tried to manage my two-day stay as I can. I could have only wish for streaming service in TV, like netflix (of which is mostly available in a 4 or 5 star hotel). Again, weather is outside of the control, hence I could have stayed more outside enjoyin the view is fairly nice.

Very comfortable bed!
The fact that they closed the other pool and just emailed us the day before our trip

hotel food was very bland and breakfast choices were limited.

We stayed at the movenpick for 5 nights and overall had a very good experience. The room was well sized and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was generally very good (see exception below), and the fitness centre had enough machines for an OK workout. The star of the show is the pool area and the beach - the beach has crystal clear water and is the nicest in Boracay.
Would have loved to have seen more variety of fruit at breakfast. Most mornings, the only fruit available was watermelon. For a country that produces a lot of amazing fruit (mango, pineapple, papaya, and bananas), this was really odd and a bit miserly.
In addition, our room often had a damp / mold smell.
4.3
Well maintained ... private beach ... system charging to room was excellent ....
The round cabanas by pool( by bar )people claimed them all day ( from 7am ) we had no chance to sit in them.
Better system would be to give 3hour slot so EVERYONE could have a go in them...

Loved the location. If you’re looking for a more quiet/secluded place away from the hustle and bustle of the main stations to kick back and enjoy a well-earned vacation, look no further. Their included breakfast package was wonderful. All their staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, with a clean, modern bathroom. Their complimentary shuttle service to and from the main areas was also a huge plus. Also, make sure you square away your transfer to and from the airport, without it, it will be a hassle.
The room was not ready when we arrived, which was not that big an issue due to it being high season, a lot of rooms to turnover. We simply waited at their cafe with their refreshing welcome drinks, across from their front desk, and within about 30 minutes, they came and found us with our room keys. However, we did need an extra bed which I had to ask three times before it was delivered. Other than that, all was good.
4.3
great beach access, friendly staff, facilities. great for family vacations. kids didn’t want to leave
it is far from the city. We knew that and it didn’t bother us.
4.3
the beach and the staff at the Beach Bar were great. Always trying the best to help you and make sure you were happy.
the room with a balcony facing a wall!! (Building 2) and on the side where the generator was, when electricity cuts happen it becomes very noisy, impossible to relax. I suggest when booking check carefully that they do not give you this room(s) on this side or your holiday will be ruined. get the front garden view !!
4.3
Beautiful resort, very clean and nicely decorated. Amazing pool and beautiful private beach. The bed was super comfortable. There is a free snack hour in the afternoon which is a very nice treat for guests.
Staff was very friendly, but service was very poor, particularly at the restaurants. We waited half an hour for a beer and a fruit shake, then one time at dinner we asked for oil and vinegar three times and it never came. For leaving the hotel on the last day they advised us to book a taxi half an hour before, we did as they said but the taxi wasn’t there at the time we requested and we had to leave late
4.3
Comfortable rooms, nice facilities, good bar (albeit lacking more drinks like Aperol Spritz), excellent breakfast, courteous staff (except for the specific receptionist who was not very welcoming).
Jacuzzis would be awesome with warm water. Limited choice of beverage. And, the cold welcome i got from the receptionist upon check in. Given that it might be a stressful work, however, we also got stressed by the travel we had to go to the hotel… so a little bit of smile and a little less of stress would’ve been nice.

Perfect beach, free transfer to the center and back, friendly staff
You could hear everthing that was heppening in the hallway, in your room. People walking, talking everything..
