not all that great rooms , but the view was awesome

Beach, pool

price ,beds , skiing on little things like shampoo bed sheets and the breakfast was very basic all about the room it was basic..paid more when next door was 1/2 less

Perfect stay at San Juan

The property was very clean and well taken care of. The staff were super friendly and made our stay even better. The actual owner served us an amazing breakfast every morning.

Nice quiet hotel

Beautiful and serene location. Very quiet and relaxing. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Clean. Great breakfast.

Sometimes it was a little too secluded especially in the evening or early morning. If you had to get to town early then you had to get a taxi which cost more since the water was too deep to cross the water at high tide. There was someone who had a boat to take people across for $10 cordovas but only ran from about 7am-7pm.

Great property - the walk to town may not suit all

Very nice property. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Highly recommend property.

Property is only 100m from the town, but you must pass over a strip of beach. Solo traveller so I would not risk it after dark. Plus it can flood over in Aug. Only other option is a taxi on the ring road. Too far to walk yhe main road.

A really nice and peaceful place to stay.

The staff was exceedingly kind and eager to make my stay pleasant. They take excellent care of their facilities. It’s a beautiful and peaceful space.

Its a little bit of a walk from the town but that’s also what makes it more peaceful.

Exceptional

Carmine and his staff were very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, especially the scrambled eggs with cheese and ham. It's right on the beach and within a short walking distance to the center of San Juan Del Sur.

Very good

The staff are straight up lovely, they always had a smile on their face and were happy to help. The hotel itself is largely great too and it's on the beach, lovely. Breakfast = banging.

I guess the room we stayed in was what you'd call a garden room. It was a little small and rough around the edges, the bathroom tiny, but the main issue was that folk would chat and eat straight outside.

Very good

Breakfast was very good! There is a view of the cove from a shared balcony. It’s one of a handful of hotels which are on the beach. Staff is nice and helpful. Owners are great. It’s walking distance to everything. They have “warm” water which was a nice surprise. Everything is well maintained. I love this area

All the hotels that are on the beach are on the northern part of the cove above the SJdSur river outlet. This beach area is not cared for like the rest of the cove which is dominated by the bars and restaurants. Beds and rooms are small.

Comfortable relaxing accommodation

It was very good location right on the beach , very secure and comfortable . There was a typical breakfast with a large bowl of fresh fruit , good coffee and great service . They were able to get us a taxi service right away upon arrival for a tour !

It was good for price . Bathroom mirrors are always a little small . AC was a little weak but to be expected for Nicaragua

A nice experience, I will definitely go back and recommend it!

It has an amazing location where from your room to the beach takes less than a minute to get there. Also, you can walk on the beach to get to all the most important restaurants in town. Breakfast is a very complete Nicaraguan style one. You eat breakfast, and you are ready to conquer the day!!

The person at the front desk at our arrival, never made the minimum effort to help us with our heavy luggage. Luckily, we only saw him on that occasion, after the disappointing welcome from this guy, the staff was always attentive, friendly, cooperative, service oriented.

Superb

Good location, away from bars etc and thus quiet. 10 mins walk from the town. Direct access to the beach. Good breakfast. Nice pool.

The footbridge over the river no longer exists so you have to wade through which is ok but not if you are wearing shoes or carrying cases.

Other hotels in the area give you better value for the money

Good breakfast and it's nice that the hotel is in front of the beach

A small room without a window. We had issues with the toilet. Probably i paid too much for this hotel, it's not bad, but I would have expected something a little bit better for my money.

Amazing attention, delicious breakfast, narrow parking space

The best part of the hotel was the excellent personalized attention from the Owner, he was truly amazing, kind and welcoming to everyone and always prioritized the guests.

The pictures made the space seem a bit bigger maybe but in true honesty it’s fine for the amount of people. I didn’t enjoy the parking space, it’s very narrow which makes parking and going out difficult.
