Very disappointed. Will not stay again nor recommend it.

Location was good

No-one available. Reception locked all weekend. Should not need to phone to get supplies for room (not enough cutlery for 2, no hair dryer and basic towels etc) which should have been there anyway. Bathroom floor needed a scrub. Yes the room was cheap but I did not need to be kept awake till midnight by the young lady of the night in the next room entertaining male guests continuously. I thought Coachman had a good name.

Convenient and comfortable.

The location is great. We have a lot of of tangi and whanau get togethers that take place at the crematorium and the Ascot so the Coachman is ideal. We were three groups with you. We come quite a lot.

Well come you when you walked in.. I like that place.

..I was disappointed,, I walk in to the reception and explain to them i already books on line with booking.com and they didn't checked that before...but they work it out they don't have a room for my family...I was panicking where I can find a place to stay..and I started to look around and more stress out. So I stopped and asked one of my friend she does used a lot booking.com to help me out and she found an accommodation for my family. I just thank God for his help.. That place they did look after my family very well. Bavarian Motel., Invercargill. I just want to give thanks to them from my heart Thanks.

not a majorly enjoyable stay but I can’t complain with the location

location was ideal

bed too uncomfortable, pillows too thin, too much light coming through curtains. someone’s toothbrush was under the bed.

had a lot of problems trying to book. very comfortable considering in the middle refurbishing.

Decent value and perfect for an overnight stooover

Quite good value. Real friendly staff at reception. Room was satisfactory and bed was pretty good. Wasn't as clean as it could be, but as a cheap stopover it did the job just fine

Staff were friendly

Wasn’t cleaned properly, we found food and old masks in the couches and cigarette filters under a bed so Room obviously wasn’t checked or cleaned properly from previous people , had several non working light bulbs no tea towels / cloths in kitchen and no rubbish bin . Had to go ask for all these things . We were there for 3 days and had nobody come to bring us any clean towels either

Comfortable and clean

The bathroom in our unit had recently been renovated, the water pressure was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our unit at the back of the motel had no noise from traffic, it was lovely

Be cautious

The staff were friendly. We arrived after a 5 hour drive to checkin but the staff couldn’t find us in their system even though I had the confirmation email and confirmation number. The staff took my word and gave us a room. The staff replaced the broken light bulb right away- but soon after the light bulb in the main room was out too and they replaced it following morning.

The online photos of this place can be deceiving. The bathroom and shower photos online is not even close to what we got. Not sure how the rating of this place is 3 1/2 stars. Our room was very old, cold…not prepared really. You have to hit the heater button every hour to stay warm. Lightbulbs were out. Holes in the walls, ceiling and covered with envelopes taped over them? Shower was creepy and had a huge hole covered with a brick. Beds were so uncomfortable. My kids and I were a bit creeped out by the place.

Exceptional

Amazing staff - Sheree (I think I have the correct lady) the lady who greeted us was exceptional and so friendly. Sheree went over and above our expectations, she was just wonderful and so accommodating. Sheree offered to do our washing which was so generous and kind of her. Very much appreciated. When we returned 5 days later Sheree also very kindly turned on their freezer to help us out. As we had fresh fish to freeze from Stewart Island. Sheree was just exceptional and very friendly and kind. Could not wish for a nicer person. Fantastic, clean accommodation. Highly recommend The Coachman Inn ... was just perfect. Thank you Sheree. Quiet, relaxing, no dramas

The courtyard area out the back is lovely. I also like that visitors can come into the carpark out the back and up the stairs and it is very discrete.

I love it when there is a full electric range to cook on, but they don't have that here. I knew what there would be and cooked food at home to heat up at meal times.
