Location was perfect. Valet parking was helpful. Staff were very helpful.
Got to our room, our cups and spoons for tea and coffee were dirty and still had food dried on them. Chair at desk was dirty. There was lumps of some substance under one of the beds. Dust all over the clock radio next to the bed. It was so disappointing considering the price.

We had made a booking for a TWIN ROOM, WITH TWO beds Waterfront Geelong. Then at approximately 9pm Thursday 4th July, after a total of 20 hours travelling to get back to Australia and eventually Geelong,
we were happy to collect the keys for a TWIN ROOM and get settled for desperately needed sleep. The person on reception confirmed a TWIN ROOM we had been given the keys for room 309 (?). Arrived at our room only to find one King size bed!!!
Rang reception, spoke to the same person, reported that we were one bed short… he informed me he need to see the room to confirm that there were not 2 beds in the room? (Not sure where he thought we would have hidden another bed). Once he inspected the bed in the room 309, and commented that we did in fact only have one bed, we were moved to ROOM 918…. By this stage myself and the friend I was travelling with were more than a little annoyed 😠

Great location, close to everything
No issues

Location was in the city centre, short walk to the shops - across the road from the water - lots of places to eat. Nice area and easy to get to. Room was spacious with good showers / bathroom / TV
The best was x 2 beds joined together and you could feel the lump in the middle, it was very obviously. The pillows had minimal filling in them, you needed 2 and even then it wasn't comfortable. Bed was the ONLY issue.

Great location
The chair in the room had mould on it. The carpets had stains in quite a few places

Location along the esplanade, restaurant on site and a lot of other restaurant choices nearby, easy access to Westfield, affordable valet parking
The pool was a bit cool and could do with some renovation

We loved how central it is especially to dinner at Fisherman’s Pier. The room was very clean and a good size. Very comfortable.
Unfortunately breakfast is only a fixed cost for full breakfast, $38 from memory. We did not want a huge breakfast and happy to pay a la carte but not possible so we went elsewhere.

Very clean, great location, very good breakfast
1.5 / 5.0
good location
The car parking facilities are very poor. The only option is valet parking for $40 per night and it took 40 minutes for the valet to bring our car to us

The beds and pillows were comfy and the room was quiet
There was dust on the antiquated alarm clock.
Coffee stain on wall as u stand in the lobby waiting for the lift.

Great location
The room wasn’t exactly clean. The bench top had stains and the toilet wasn’t very clean.
The hall ways look very outdated and need a decent upgrade and spruce up. They were also not very clean.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. The hotel's location was perfect, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I also enjoyed the delicious dining options close to the hotel and the suggestion of activities from the check in staff. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Geelong.

Room was good and clean we didn't spend much time in it so size was ok. bed comfortable and shower good.
Parking was not good and expensive for a 24 hour period if you used it. Parking down the street in 3 hour zone is unacceptable.
The thing that we were VERY disappointed in was the fact that there were 2 flag poles out the front of the building
one flag was the Novatel flag and the other was the aboriginal flag. NO AUSTRALIAN FLAG!!!!!!!
So there should be 3 flag poles in our opinion or remove the Novatel Flag or the ABORIGINAL flag - the ABORIGINEES are AUSTRALIANS TOO - or are they a different identity all together - or are we all Aboriginal and entitled to the same rights. This needs to be fixed for us to consider staying again.

The view.
They have not grasped the concept of valet parking.

Nothing - property was very tired looking. shower floors were not properly cleaned. Room smelt of cigarette smoke, so I had to change rooms. Guests were rudely awakened at around 8am by extremely loud drilling noise coming from the lobby. No guests were prewarned! Noise was so excruciating & unrelenting guests particularly with children started checking out. We felt for reception staff who had to work in that noise.
