It had a pool table
Dirty hostel all round! Smelly, dirty, full of meth heads, broken beds, flies in the kitchen.
5.0
Bed was comfortable. Staff friendly and tried hard to be helpful under pressure of oppressive rules and unclear communications. Offstreet parking. Reality was not as oppressive as the long list of rules suggested. We only wanted a place to sleep and the bed was clean.
They sent us the long list of rules 3 times. Reminiscent of boarding school. Sign on front door says breakfast included. Sign on the kitchen says no food is free, it all belongs to someone (else). Smoker outside the open doorway near the Ladies bathroom. General dilapidated, uninviting rabbit warren appearance of the place. Lock on door to bedroom was difficult to open so much so that we left the door unlocked when we went to toilet so that we could get back in.

The location was very good nearby beaches and tourist points, also coles and aldies is nearby
Not too many people to talk to.

Reception/admin worker was very helpful and approachable. He was communicative and I would return.

Hot showers, warm room with air conditioner split system.
The bed was on a sloped floor, not ideal. Bunks all squeak quite loudly with any movement. There was about a 2 inch gap under the door which leads outside so there was a draft of cold air coming in. We had to put bags across the door. The fridges in the kitchen all smell bad and need a good clean out. We only stayed here as there was no other option for accommodation. It was over priced as well.

Location good, room & bed comfortable, shared bathroom clean, nice & quiet by just after 10pm.
The share kitchen was grotty & a bit smelly as some of the other guests didn't clean up after themselves. Disinclined to want to use it except to boil water for a cuppa

We didn’t have breakfast or use the kitchen as we had to depart early
I think overall it’s a nice place with great staff.
Maybe a bit of exterior paint to the front would brighten the whole building up. Otherwise we were happy.

The staff was helpful & the location is very good.
Don't like the location of 2 rooms for one family, they were totally opposite side. The facility had shared kitchen, washroom & toilets was very filthy.
Room wasn't clean & bed sheets had dust on them. The smell was very bad when we entered to see the rooms but couldn't cancel the stay because paid the full amount of money. They still asked $50 bond even paid the full amount before we went there.
The worse thing was the metal bunk beds 😢. Couldn't sleep well because whey were very noisy if i need to turn around my partner woke up with noise if she turn around then i woke up. There wasn't even good mattress we had sore in back. So be careful before you book that in.
I think booking.com should charge us money when we get the property & inspect it then if we stay there or need option like accept or decline property. It's very bad experience.

I liked Everything the owner and night manager moved heaven and earth to get us booked in for the night after a long flight from work and a long drive to get down to bunbury . As the following day I was flying to nz for my nephews funeral and was distressed anyway. They made my world just a little brighter and restored my faith in human beings .
A hot cooked meal would have been too much to ask for at that time of night .10:30pm. So I’m going to say they could not have done any better than what they did for my family .

That you allow a visitor to sit out in court yard all day drinking and playing music all day loud he had no respect at all for the residents
