De notre arrivée jusqu’à notre départ, tout était parfait ! Un hôtel avec un personnel au petit soin, et toujours disponible afin de toujours vouloir vous satisfaire.
L’organisation des excursions au dernier moment grâce au Taxi Desk (Leena), vous permet de faciliter votre voyage et vous permet de profiter chaque jour comme vous le souhaitez.
Un grand hôtel, avec chaque espace bien pensé (piscine / plage / massage / etc…), et un endroit très agréable s’il s’agit d’un voyage en couple / noce, etc… car c’est très calme et apaisant !
Et pour le personnel de l’hôtel, un grand merci à Vanessa et Veena qui était toujours à notre disposition ! Bien sûr en parallèle, tout le personnel était top !
Nous avons rien à dire à ce propos. Tout était parfait !

Huge pool and pretty beach and bay for swimming. Good lunch options - beach cabana, buffet, and Italian a la carte. All inclusive was good value for money.
We didn’t realise that this was a TUI destination and so it was therefore much busier than we expected which resulted in the pool and beach areas feeling crowded. It wasn’t the quiet paradise Island that we were expecting.
It was difficult to get a well positioned sun lounger unless you were willing to get up early and reserve them with your towel. We were also disappointed to find on our first day, we struggled to book into any of the à la carte restaurants. We had chosen this resort because of the à la carte restaurants and had been planning on eating at them every night. However, when we arrived, we could only book the beach restaurant for our last night (6 nights later than when we’d arrived) we could only book a 6:30 slot at the Italian restaurant which is much earlier than we would have preferred to eat.
This is a solid four star resort. Food and drinks are nice but no-frills and designed to cater for a large volume of guests. All inclusive was good value for money.
The bedrooms were also solid 4-star quality - our room was comfy and nicely decorated but very dark and the fixtures fittings and plumbing in bathroom needed upgrading.

A beautiful hotel in an idyllic location.
We are a family of 5 and had 2 rooms, both of which were spacious and beautifully decorated.
The buffet breakfast and dinner were excwith a wide range of dishes to choose from.
Deepak in particular was very welcoming and was super helpful.
Rooms should be fitted with Muslim showers
More 3 pin sockets required (as there is only 1 per room and all other sockets were 2 pin), albeit reception did provide us with plug adapters

La qualité des repas, produits, choix, pour le petit déjeuner et le diner.
Le cadre de l’hôtel, très beau.
La piscine et la plage de sable blanc.
Pour faire plaisir aux clients et répondre à ces demandes (besoins), le personnel répond oui mais peut-être parfois sans réellement comprendre la demande ou certaines questions.
Nous avons trouvé dommage que même en demie-pension nous n'ayons pas eu droit à au moins un verre de vin ou autre alcool par personne lors du diner dans cette formule (payant en demie-pension). Idem pour le restaurant Dolce Vita, nous avons été surpris lors de la facture que l'eau était payante (cela nous avait pas été dit à la prise de commande).
Le jour de notre départ, au moment de régler la facture, nous avons rencontré un problème pour régler en espèce (euro), le personnel nous indique que l’établissement ne prend pas des billets qui sont déchirés ou marqués (nos billets provenaient d'un distributeur et non déchirés, une légère marque bleu sur certains), les banques Mauriciennes font apparemment des difficultés avec ça. Il aurait fallu qu'on le sache à notre arrivée, nous déplorons un manque d’information à ce sujet. Après de longues discussions, un échange avec un responsable et un peu d'énervement de ma part, nous avons quand même pu régler avec nos billets en euros.
Les clients qui mettent de bonheur le matin une serviette sur un transat au bord de la piscine ou sur la plage pour "le réserver" et qui pour certain n'y sont pas de la journée ou très peu. C'est déplorable....

The resort is so serene and it’s great to hear the birds chirping as you walk around under the coconut trees or palm trees. It’s nice to have both the pool and the beach area as people spread out and neither ends up being overcrowded. We enjoyed the option of dining in the different restaurants at no additional cost to switch things up. Also got a birthday cake on my birthday dinner and the room decorated for the occasion, which was really nice. They have a calendar filled with activities every week, so you don’t end up getting bored. The free water activities are a great addition.
The rooms are a bit outdated. All of them have a sea view so we regretted paying for a bigger one since the only additional thing about it was extra space in the room that wasn’t used and a balcony that was nice to have but we were out all the time so it didn’t get any use either.

The beach setup is amazing, water activities. Location. Live music.
-No hot water twice and had to nag them on the phone to send someone out
-Only low quality alcoholic beverages available, especially on all-inclusive. My wife was sick after drinking their sparkling wine.
-Rude and unfriendly staff, especially at the beach bar.
-Almost impossible to get a reservation at their 5-star restaurant.
-They don’t have mixologist’s like they claimed. Cocktails were poor.
-No bottled water on the premises
-No freshly squeezed juices even though they have a juice bar.

rooms full of cockroaches and ants. cleaning is only possible if you request at the reception. the sheets were not changed until after I called twice, after 7 days. bad and expensive food. service at a la carte restaurants is bad. the drinks from the bars on the beach and the pool tasteless. a very bad experience.

Exceptional customer service from front of house staff, and actually all the staff we encountered.
Communication prior to arrival was first class, in particular with Ankush Sungkur, helping me arrange extra special flower decorations for the room, as it was my partners 40th birthday the day we arrived. Not only did the flowers and birthday message look incredible, we were treated to much more and made to feel like VIPs.
A truly unforgettable experience.
The hotel was clean, safe and friendly. The food and drink service was great, the beach views breathtaking. The inclusion of golf at a nearby island was something special. Snorkelling, sailing, windsurfer, paddling, couples massage near the beach... we packed so much into a 7-night stay, too much to include in this review.
Would definitely like to return one day and can authentically recommend this resort to anyone else looking for a magical Mauritius experience.

Very relaxing,loving and caring vibe.What ever you ask they make it possible.Mr Putee the Hotel Manager is hands on and always to be seen,mange the staff,see that the guests are comfortable and happy.He surprised us with a bottle of Champagne in the room,and a going away dinner on the beach which was so surprising.The service of Amar and Deepak at the Beach restaurant is oustanding!The food served plated and so tasty,you can basekly ask for anything and it can be served.The buffet Resataurant"s food was also outstanding and improved from previous times.Other names to mention is Soosbash at the beachbar always mixing a cocktail as you wish.Dolce Vita paste Restaurant is another option to choose from foof also amazing and a lovely view of the sea.service excellense!

We stayed in hotel Ambre for 11 nights and loved it. The resort was full with different activity options for them who wanted to experience them. For them who just wanted to stay and lay on the sun, was Ambre also perfect.
The food, especially in Dolce vita restaurant was amazing. Also the service there was amazing. Recommendation to eat half at Indigo and half at Dolce vita. They also have the third one la Plage, which we never visited due to it wasn’t included to AI.
The stuff was always so nice and helpful.
It was a bit confusing at the beginning that there were things that were not included to AI, but after a few days we got used to it and then it was ok.
The sun beds were easily available during the first week of our stay, but during the second week, which was a Christmas week, we noticed that if we tried to go to the beach after 10 am, all sun beds with a shadow umbrella were already taken and thus we needed to wake up earlier in order to get a sun bed. Even though most beds were reserved throughout the day, there were many empty most of the time, which was boring to those who didn’t get the bed. Boring.
The rooms were ok, not so fresh and updated though. Reality is pretty much like what the pictures show. In general, the rooms and the whole hotel would have benefit of some renowations.
The location was not best, if you want easily explore the island. In close by areas there is a bit to see in walk distance, but not a lot.

Ambre had such an amazing vibe and the beach, the pool, the food and the staff were all AMAZING!! We had come from a neighbouring resort and Ambre was bar none a thousand times better, right from the get go, we won’t stay at any other resort when we come to Mauritius again - Ambre has stolen our hearts!! ❤️Tracy checked us in was very thorough & friendly. We had a large quiet, beautiful, clean, room & the king sized bed was so comfy. The complimentary mini bar in the room was restocked daily with beer, pop, water, chocolate bars & chip - Nice touch!! We also really like the tea & coffee (with real milk) that was provided in the room - Nice Touch. We also had a beautiful ocean facing deck that had comfortable furniture. Ravish looked after our room perfectly was super friendly & professional. We celebrated my husbands 60th bday at Dolce Vita - Davisen the restaurant Manager & Ayess took very good care of us, making us feel very valued & special, the service that was provided was the best - professional, friendly & the food was delicious & top quality. We celebrated our 25yr anniversary at Le Plage & Ashiss was wonderful, friendly & professional - the food was excellent!! Anntish looked after our food/drinks on the beach, he was amazing & always had a beautiful smile for us! Vishnu the bartender & Ashwin in the poolside lounge were both so prompt, efficient & friendly. The buffet where we mostly ate had a really great selection of hot and cold food with an ever-changing menu of local & international dishes . All in all we had a wonderful stay at Ambre & all of the staff were super. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!! ❤️

The hotel is excellent. It offers many services and activities. The staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming especially Ms. Vanchika, Ms. Pascaline and Mr. Dheeraj are very hard working. as I see they deserve a letter of thanks from the hotel.
