Lovely staying at Eden Villa

We appreciated the cozy room, the flexibility of the owners in answering our needs, but especially the very attentive and friendly personnel that made you feel at home and in particular the amazing breakfast served by a nice lady, that was our favorite moment in starting our day 🥰. Also very good location close to all we needed, beach, local restaurants, town center. Hope to return soon and explore Mauritius from Eden Villa!

I recommend this place for a first introduction to Mauritius. The Manager is very helpful and will go above and beyond the call of duty to help you, such as driving you to the airport if needed. He helped us coordinate the return of our car so we didn't have to wait long at the airport. He went with us to the bank around the corner so we didn't have to stand in a long line to exchange money. The staff is smiling and accommodating in everything. The rooms are smaller but clean. Breakfast and dinner tasty and portions large. If we had stayed at this place on the first day of our trip, we would have saved a lot of money. We would have had a cheaper car rental once and we would have known where to shop and eat well.

Exceptional

One of the best places I stayed so far. If you’re looking for an alternative to the expensive all-inclusive hotels this is the best option. The service is fantastic and the rooms are very comfortable. The hosts are also very nice and speak a lot of languages. And if you want to discover the island, they help you find the best service provider. I highly recommend staying there!

I spent my first 3 nights in Mauritius in Eden Villa and I felt like at home since Day 1. The willingness of the staff, everywhere was clean, the hosts took care of the villa and were very willing to help, advise, organize trips. I was extremely satisfied, I will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

Good location and breakfast

The property is well located, only 5 minutes walk from the beach. The staff are nice, especially Surika, and they cook very well, we had a nice breakfast and dinner (grilled fish/veggies). Our room was also kept clean by the staff

The villa is very old and looks a bit like abandoned by the owners, it definitely needs some renovation works and deep cleaning so that the guests can feel more comfortable and enjoy more their stay. Pool area also needs some touch up

Apartment needs some repair but it's worth the price you pay. A lack of restaurants and activities around.

Staff was kind and willing.

The location is not very good,buses go to the town very rarely.There are no supermarkets in Belle Mare,in general the services for the travellers were the worst from our 14days stay in Mauritius. The accommodation,specifically the bathroom was kind of nightmare due to the cockroaches.Within our 2nights stay we counted approximately 15 of them (every time a new one appeared).

Decent alternative for what is offered on the Eastern Coast. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. OK for 2-3 day stay. Efficient Wi-Fi. Safe parking.

Rooms are pretty small and need refurbishment. The worst is light - dimmed with ugly blue covers - fortunately we managed to change the room as we could not stand the light [= lack of light]. They offerred us a FOC dinner which was nice, but quality of the food was pretty low. We preffered to pay in nearby restaurant that have the "same" for free..

Our stay here was great!

Kind and friendly stuff in Eden Villa made our stay more than lovely. Every problem was solved without hesitation and they always helped us however they could. Also - they are very funny. 🙂 Villa is located 3 mins far from the nicest beach on the whole island (try walking both left and right, I bet you will find the perfect spot for you). Breakfasts were rich, we always got coffee, juice, bread, jam, eggs/pancake, yoghurt and fruit salad. Dinners were delicious, they were cooking local meals so it was always a pleasant surprise. The room had everything we needed (even though it was pretty small), fridge and AC were working perfectly.

There was just a few shops around opened but it was enough to buy some souvenires and food. What was new for us was shops closing every day at 5 pm - but that's our problem. 😃

Very close to one of the nicest beaches in Mauritius, nice and friendly hosts!

The location was excellent and was the main reason I booked it (5 min by foot from the beach). The hosts were really pleasant and re-opened the kitchen for us when we arrived late on our first day. Everything was clean and tidy. There was really nice and affordable local food you can grab near by.

The rooms are nothing to write home about, but you have such an amazing beach near by that you won't spend a lot of time in them anyway.

The accommodation was excellent, mainly thanks to the great staff, who were always full of optimism and managed to improve our mood. They were always available whenever we needed them to help us with something. The room included wi-fi, air conditioning, smart TV, safe, small refrigerator, private bathroom and it was also possible to borrow an adapter. The accommodation included a swimming pool, which had several sunbeds and a parasol. There is a TV right by the pool, where you can play any song you want and there is a basketball hoop above the pool. Breakfast was good and when we were missing something, the staff tried to please us as much as possible. We got better price for car rental, service and a boat trip in our hotel compare to the prices somewhere else. The accommodation was located in a quiet part and the sea was no further than 300 metres. Souvenir stores and grocery stores were within 150 metres and there was also excellent street food. Sometimes when we didn't want to go on any trip and wanted to stay in the hotel and relax, we could have lunch or dinner for an affordable price. According to the price and quality of the hotel, i would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Amazing staff but average facilities

The location is very good as it’s just a 2min walking distance to the beach of Belle Mare. And the staff is really nice and really wanting to help at all times.

However, you need to know that the facilities are quite old and not in a very good shape. Also the pool is quite small and just next to a football field which makes it not so enjoyable (does not have a good view or anything). The food was also not so great. Would only recommend if you are traveling on budget.

Very helpful and friendly owners, that cooked an excellent meal every night. The last evening they really surprised us with a big, very tasteful fishdish and wine. They did everything to make it a wonderful stay for us, and they succeeded with a 10 score in our opinion!

Very good for short stays

Great breakfast! Rich buffet for that price... Very comfortable room and wonderful beaches close by.

It all seemed a bit in a need of renovation, especially the pool area. The staff sometimes seemed a bit unmotivated and were obviously not so well informed about the actual bookings. The parking situation at the place should be overthought because like this you very often had to park and repark because of bad management of the parking spaces.
