Everything! The pools and spa were superb. The breakfast was absolutely spectacular….very sad we didn’t try the restaurant, a huge mistake on our part. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with magnificent views over the beach and estuary.

Beautiful resort, location & lodges breakfast delicious
I would like to know why booking.com charged me more than what the Resort charges $390 per night as opposed to the $444 you charged me. I asked them & they said that it should be the same or better

This resort lived up to all of the high praise it has received. The rooms were wonderful, the spa and pools were fantastic, and the restaurant on site was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful the entire time. On top of all that, the location is hard to beat. Less than 10 minutes from Abel Tasman and on a hill where you can watch some spectacular sunrises, I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to visit the area.

Amazing Resort
Breakfast even it was complimentary because of the high price of the stay could be better. means scrumbled eggs and barista coffee or a coffee machine. To serve filter coffee is not the best for us.

Very nice and secluded Hotel. We enjoyed the Spa area and the restaurant a lot!

The staff were all cheerful, and extremely helpful. Restaurant and servicing people are outstanding. We felt they wanted to be there even though it was a holiday, and they cared about us. We liked the opportunity to try different things from a creative, tasty menu in the restaurant. Extra thought went into the time of year- there were lovely origami snowflakes and iced gingerbread cookies. It was good to have options- a lovely peaceful, private unit, pools and spas, walking opportunities in the bush and on the beach, as well as busy water activities if wanted. We enjoyed a cruise up the coast.
Instructions for use and care of the spa in our room would have been helpful.

We loved every minute here and booked a second night! We had been traveling the south island by campervan and needed a little comfort for a few days, and to use facilities like the laundry room. The spa and pool were beautiful and clean, our cabin was stunning and the staff were incredibly helpful. Breakfast is a huge selection of wonderful home made. We particularly enjoyed the fitness trail through the woods! The receptionist also let us know when we could catch a glimpse of the penguins and we weren't disappointed!

Great facilities, awesome staff, clean, tidy and comfortable.
While I understand the reason for not microwave as it does not fit with the eco experience, maybe a small over or cooktop as a lot of places in the local town were closed and it would be been better to be able to heat something up instead of having to get takeaways

Understandable but mildly frustrating was that some facilities closed during our stay including the restaurant and the spa
