The location was perfect, an easy walk to the centre. The hotel itself was faultless, everything was thought of and it was spotlessly clean. The owner was so kind and helpful and even upgraded us which we were very grateful for. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with a very sweet and capable girl serving us. It couldn’t have been a more pleasant stay, thank you.
Nothing… perhaps the fridge was a bit big and noisy, we just turned it off at night.

A perfect time was had a St Maur. It is a little gem. Our room was superb and immaculately clean. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. We will certainly be returning. 4 star accommodation but worthy of 5 stars.

Wonderful room and very friendly staff. The room included a refrigerator to keep the fresh milk provided for the tea and coffee.
Plenty of hot water for baths and big towels to get dry afterwards.
The breakfast was a proper full English with plenty of items to choose from.

The breakfast was wonderful. Great choices and the hosts were very good at providing exactly what the guests asked for.
Not applicable. Everything was very good, there was nothing which fell short of expectations.

Our superior room was large and comfortable overlooking the lush gardens with a glimpse of the sea.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in.
Well positioned for Ventnor seafront and gardens although as most of Ventnor the hills are quite steep.
Parking at the B&B also in the road outside.

Beautiful buildings and grounds. Near Ventnor Gardens.
The room was plain and drab compared with the building. It could have been decorated so much nicer.

Very nice location. Room with beautiful partial seaviews. Great garden which guests can use. Good breakfast. Overall well maintained house. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Intend to stay there again.
Room and bathroom a bit dated.
(However, we were lucky to get the last room on a busy weekend.)

Breakfast was amazing, a barwith an honesty tab.
Bathroom very tired and in need of an update.
Plugs were hard to get to.
Huge great fridge took up to much room and seemed a little over the top for a pint of milk.

The breakfasts! Extensive range of fruit and cereals and lots of delicious choices on the "Cooked" menu. The breakfast server (Lisa) was very efficient and friendly.
There was a smell of damp in the bathroom which we noticed following a torrential overnight thunderstorm.

Fantastic hosts in David and Lisa, recommended local things to do and were so friendly. A lovely house with lots of character. The rooms are wonderful and it feels so much more memorable than staying in a big hotel. Also gorgeous garden with lots of plants

We loved the garden, the verandas, the relaxed setting of the house, the way its Victorian character had been preserved so well AND the wonderful sound of the grand piano in the evenings! We also liked the self-service bar (with such a wide choice of aperitifs) arrangement in the lounge.

The garden was beautiful. A pleasure to sit out.
The honesty bar.
