Nice view of Enoshima! Restaurants and grocery stores are walkable. Staff was nice. Walking distance to the train is even easier if you use their wacky 45-degree elevator to zip up the hill -- or take the hotel shuttle.
Even after paying nearly ¥70,000/night, I was annoyed at the requirement to pay ¥1000 to use the pool, and even after paying for pool rental, it was another ¥4000 to rent a chair.
As others have written, the property is a bit tired, water damage and dirty grout throughout.

The hotel is 5 min walking distance from the beach and the same distance to subway station, two very popular and decent restaurants (bills & double door). Room is spacious with great view of the island and extremely quiet. I've stayed at the hotel for two nights and everything is just perfect. Hope to return to Kamakura soon.

La vu sur le Mont Fugi, la mer et la plage avec de nombreux surfeurs. Les chambres sont tres confortables. Les petits déjeuners offrent de nombreux choix.

Beautiful views from our rooms. Huge rooms with huge King beds. Lovely sitting area looking out over the view. Very gracious and helpful staff.

We loved the room, we had an amazing view of the town and could even see Mt Fuji! There was also a shuttle bus to the nearest station that was offered, which we greatly appreciated. The station was only 10 mins away by foot but it feels much longer when you’re pulling your luggage! The bed was HUGE, and so comfortable. The staff were lovely, we had a lovely stay there.
The bathroom wasn’t as lovely as the rest of the room was, I think the design could be improved on if any renovations will be undertaken in the future. My partner and I thought the sink was blocked up, but realised that we just don’t know how to use the sink (there was a lever we didn’t know was a lever).

This was the second time I stay in the hotel. I was impressive by their breakfast. That was before covid. This time the breakfast was under expectation.

Great view of Mt. Fuji. Unlike Japanese business hotels, Kamakura Prince has large rooms all facing the sea scape.
There was a shower cap of the previous guests left on a towel hook which was little eerie.

The bed is really big and cozy, you can see the ocean and the pool in the room, it was very beautiful!
the hotel is a little bit old, but still clean and tidy. the room was damp, need to open the door and window to get some fresh air.

The views are stunning and the hotel itself is nice but a little old in decor. It’s got a shuttle bus to the nearby station.
all the staff were helpful and easy to
deal with.
it’s a bit far from the main town, but it’s worth it because of the view.

the views!! mt fuji was amazing to see so close and clear from our room. the beds were amazingly comfy.
the hotel is just a bit further out of the main part of town than i expected. not far from the train station though.

the view from the rooms are outstanding. you can see the ocean and on one day we also saw the Fujisan! it was amazing! the beds were very comfortable and you have actually everything you need in the room. the staff was really friendly and helped us changing the room, because our window was a little bit milky and we didnt had a good view. we told the staff at the front desk and they immediatly looked for another room, in which we could change.
i booked the breakfast (for about 20$ per person), but my boyfriend is vegetarian and the buffet was definatly not made for vegetarians. he had an Omlett and a salad plus bread. so the 20$ wasnt worth it for him, this was a bit disappointing. they could offer more for vegetarians!!!

the people in front desk are extremely helpful. great services and very polite. The ocean view is stunning, large room. I will come back on my next visit.
the location is a little far from the station, but there is a short cut from the lower building. Did not realize on my first day.

Check in an check out.
We had to wait until exactly 10am for the pool to open even through it was 30plus degrees at 7am. The guttering has all corroded and we had heavy rain which woke us up as it was hitting the ground.
