No wifi
3.9
Pod room was good, and private. The restaurant, bar and pool were nice and chilled.
Ok location, but was about 10-15min walk to main part of Phnom Penh.

Tolles Essen am Pool. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Warmes Wasser in der Dusche. Die Lage ist super. Jederzeit wieder.
Es gab nichts negatives
3.9

Staff always helpful

Front desk lady was extremely helpful.
Air Con in the room was not up to the mark and the hotel did nothing when I complained on the first day.

Very little room was so dark and the view was a concrete wall outside would never stay in the place ever again avoid at costs.
Everything just such a bad place very few people staying in it had to halk your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The location is so far away from the centre left after one night, had booked 3 nights didn't even protest or look for a refund just walked out.

.
The swimming pool is part of the bar that shares the entrance with the hostel and there is no comfortable seating around it. You cannot hang out by the pool or play snooker without ordering food or drinks at the bar. No food or drinks from outside.
Rooms can be cleaner.
The area around is simply not great.

The location is great, walking distance to many attractions like riverside park, Wat Phnom temple and night market. They have 4 washrooms in the pod room which is great.

It was my second stay at The Eighty8 and it was all good as always. Great staff/ management, yummy breakfast and great vibe.
Short stay, I wish I could stay longer
3.9
There was no breakfast provided
Not really clean. But it has what a traveller needs for a budget stay.

good location, quite social, very good price, rooftop bar
18 bed pod room didn't feel the safest but had lockers to secure your belongings if you want to
3.9
nothing, staff, young uncooperative people.
the worse ever ladder to climb to the upper bed, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, WHY?because there is not a single bar to grab and hold yourself from a free fall to the ground, once you close to the top of the ladder, the upper bed lays at abouve 7 to 8 ft from teh gournd..
Location is bad, far the river shores, no activity worth your time around the area.
The showers awful small.

The pod room is great ,good value and comfortable

Very helpful staff- Nicky and Sam were lovely on reception. I liked that the pool and rooftop were available to use and our private room was really spacious! Also great location near a night market. Would definitely recommend for a base in Phnom Penh :)
Nothing - just the shower fixture was broke in our room but I told the staff at checkout and they said they’d sort it and were very grateful that we had let them know!

Stayed in one of the pods. Nice and big with storage underneath. 4 Toilets/ Showers to use. (and the pressure was fine considering some previous reviews I read) The room had air con as well as fans you can can turn on/off in the pod. One main charging port with 2 other usb ports for charging devices in the pod. Location is good, quiet near everything if driving a scooter which you can rent, but it’s from a third party and not the hostel. And they want you to return at 5pm. I got mine quite late in the day but the guy let me return it to his office at 8pm. There is a restaurant upstairs on the terrace for breakfast. I don’t think it’s part of the hostel. The food was only okay and a bit expensive for beers in the evening. There is also and oz bar/restaurant at the entrance with a swimming pool, this is also not part of the hostel, and you have to buy something if you want use of the pool. They show all the sports there, just ask if you want to watch something and they will try and accommodate you. Both have pool tables if you fancy a game. It’s a 4 mins walk to a bus service, it’s near the Japanese hospital. So if arriving or departing it’s quite handy. You can refill your water for free and there is 24hr reception. Good place to stay, generally clean and cheap if your on a budget. Staff are nice.
Nothing major, It’s a given but with so many pods the noise from the fans can get a bit loud. The drain holes in the toilets/showers need to be cleaned out.

very good location, nice pods
the receptionist was so slow !
top beds (pods) are very high ! I asked for a bottom bed in the dorm room instead, but the guy just left without answering my request.
Bathrooms were dirty.

really nice modern rooms which we couldn’t fault! staff really friendly and helpful and in a good location.
would have liked to have eaten at the hotel restaurant but the prices were way too much for us. average price for a meal was $9/$10. could maybe also do with some sun loungers around the pool area. also water pressure really low in the bathroom. we understand that the hotel is new though so will only improve as they go along 😊

I booked a bed in the pod section, quite a spacious big bed, with a comfortable mattress.
Nicky is a very friendly and helpful host.

Clean room ,AC works well. They are so nice and kind.Definitely i suggest you to come here.I met lovely backpackers.

Located right beside a bus operator so very handy. The staff were very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the room had AC and a fan for a very reasonable price. Also free water refills.
The shower lacked a bit of power but nothing major.

Very comfortable and clean bed. It's larger than an average dorm bed and the upper bunk is not too high (you can access it from the ground which is very handy).
There's a water refilling facility.
Although I didn't use the pool (paucity of time), it did look in good shape.
There are a lot of sitting places near the reception which is really handy as the wifi there is the best.
It's a good neighborhood with a small market stone throwaway distance from it and the night market is another short walk (<10 min).
The staff was very polite and respectful.
There was no handwash in the two toilets that I used.
The wifi in the dorm (female dorm) is very weak to do anything (but there's enough comfortable seating downstairs where the wifi is strong).
