Disappointing

Receptionist was welcoming

Dirty bathroom and kitchen No hot shower not at all, the worst I have ever had Bed doesnt seems clean Long term people staying at the same room and leaving and coming in and out from a room from night shift or for morning shift. Smelly blanket Mess in lounge area

Nice hostel in general

Big garden in front and in the back, nice rooms, pretty cute living room with a piano

Too many people staying at the hostel that are not Backpackers but working in town. Fridges overfilled and not sorted through. Kitchen a bit dirty.

Location and price

The facility, specialy the bathroom facility is disappointing. Both men and women had to share the same bathroom and the cleanliness is not acceptable. In the morning water was dissconnected and had to wait more than 1/2 hr. The owner did not respond to the calls. Also the kitchen was closed by 9.30 and was very uncovenint for us as we arrived in the evening. Also the way of welcome by owner is awarkward that she mentioned that her dog select her customers (not sure what she means) and wanted to know where we are originally from. 🤔😕 It's maybe be worth for price, but want select again and not recomend to anybody.

Had a fantastic time staying at this house.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. My room was dorm style and was fine. The house was very clean throughout. The kitchen was very handy and large with all the right utensils to cook with. Lovely garden area also.

Very friendly staff

Until I entered the room I wasn’t aware there is our own shower and toilet so I was very pleased about it. Walls between the two units have not much noise barriers… that was only one things I wasn’t very impressed…

Very good

White elephant is set in beautiful grounds with fruit trees. Our studio was set at the back so was nice and peaceful even though they were fully booked. It had a nice atmosphere, although it felt as though there was a divide between people who stayed there long term and people passing through (I felt like was in the way bit in the kitchen for example). Kitchen was great though, very well equipped. Grou ds were lovely with plenty of places to sit and my room was comfy.

There were some areas of the bathroom that could have been cleaner as there were a few spiders, which I don't like. If they don't bother you though then it would be fine. For the price it was nice accommodation.
