Clean, friendly and comfortable accommodation

Lovely place that is a short walk from Takaka town, super clean chalet with everything you need, nothing has been missed! Comfy beds and beautiful gardens with glow worm cave! Will stay again!

Awesome place, awesome people, deff recommend.

Leanne was the absolute best, very welcoming and friendly lady. We got the choice of choosing any cabin as we were the only one that had booked in that night... we chose the Tui one. Outside bath was a nice touch. Everything is thought out, cooking facilities inside the cabin as well as a pizza oven air fryer etc in the communal kitchen. foliage everywhere was very pretty and made it a very relaxing atmosphere.

Even though the bed was king size.. mattress might need upgrading.

Our chalet was warm, comfortable and cosy.

Our chalet was very quiet and private. The chalet had every facility including a torch for glow worm viewing.

A great place to relax and unwind.

We stayed in "Tui" in March. The cabin is in a great location with its own private garden area. The cabin has a well equipped kitchen where you could cook a meal if you were so inclined. We preferred to eat in Tekaka where there are several good eateries. The large bed was comfortable and the rest of the furnishings fitted well. There is a bath on the patio where you can soak while watching the stars or in my case watching the Fantails chase each other around the trees.

We really did wish we could have stayed longer but unfortunately someone else was booked in!

Beautiful lush location

Absolutely beautiful chalet. Check-in was easy and the staff was great. It felt like living in the jungle in our own little resort. The outdoor tub was a great touch and each lodge was its own little oasis. Fabulous water pressure in the shower. The location was about a 10 minute drive from downtown and easy to get to.

Road getting here was a bit hairy and windy. Make sure to travel before 8pm because they will shut roads down! Lots of mosquitos as the property is next to some stagnant water, but it was inevitable being in NZ.

Units were very spacious and so comfortable.Plenty of supplies.Fantastic outlook. Very clean.Great shower.Each unit very private.The owner was so friendly and nothing was a problem.

Will return & highly recommend to other travelers.

Leanne & team were fantastic, friendly & helpful. The room was clean, & tidy & included little touches like wireless charging. A/c kept the room nice & cool. It was located just a couple minutes (by car) or a 10-minute walk to town.

No complaints. Everything was perfect.

You felt you were surrounded by native bush , very sunny relaxing location with a great view to the distant mountains. We thouroughly enjoyed the hosts attentive and joyful manner it made the stay even more enjoyable. The unit was large and specious, very clean and well appointed - with a very comfortable bed !

The rocks calet was lovely. The staff was super helpful, very nice and the place was even nicer than it looked in the pictures. Glow worm grotto was very cool also. Super close to town only a ten minute walk
