The hotel is easy to find and in a lovely location overlooking the river and park. Onsite free parking a bonus. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman who served our meals, which were really good and reasonably priced. The hotel is ideally situated for both walking along the river bank or moors, or a 5 minute stroll into the town.
Nothing bad/negative to say about the hotel or Ilkley.

A really friendly relaxed atmosphere in the hotel with excellent food on the premises and lovely proprietor. Award winning fish and chips - and they really were worthy of it. Really convenient for walking to anywhere in the town, via lovely riverside open green area. We parked the car on arrival and never moved it until we left to go home. We had no children with us, but really good facilities for children of all ages to play in the area along the riverbank. A really family and dog friendly town. Beautiful further riverside walks on the other side, via several easily reached bridges. The town has real shops and a myriad of great places to eat, be it for dinner or coffee and lovely cakes.
Can't think of anything at all that could have been better.

Great location right by the river and parkland. Within easy walking distance into town centre. Very good breakfast.

Good quality food and drinks, lovely staff, fabulous location. Clean with most things you need for a few days away. Basic breakfast but all good quality and tasty.
Tiny bedroom with very little storage space. Exceptionally loud toilet ( macerator type!). Only 4 channels on TV (2,9,23 and kids).

welcoming friendly staff. lovely views. Easy to walk into Ilkley. Nice freshly cooked breakfast.
great location. lovely view of river.

good location, spotlessly clean, and an excellent breakfast.
car park was generally pretty full, took the last space on one occasion.

The location is beautiful, walks, a market town full of fabulous 17th century architecture, lovely friendly people.
Breakfast is freshly cooked, piping hot and a credit to the chef.
The fish and chips are divine!
The utilitarian feel of the bar area, understandable given the clientele of walkers and dogs. A bar that looks as though it was covered with the remnants of shower wall paneling, vinyl seat coverings, bistro type tables...no character, no warmth, and definitely nowhere for a hotel resident to sit in comfort with a drink of an evening.
The bedroom was adequate, nicely furnished, however the shower was filthy at the bottom of the door and we slept on top of the duvet to help cushion the springs of the mattresses (two beds pushed together to form a double) that dug into hips and buttocks.
We brought a throw out of the wardrobe as a cover.
No we didn't mention it, as thought it unlikely that new mattresses would be available, particularly for a 2 night stay.
At £112.50.per night B&B, we expected a lot more for our money.

Pleasant venue local to the town centre and my place of work for my stay. Clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast.

The staff where very pleasant and helpful and made sure what I requested was met, ie tv not working (they promptly sorted it) and a sandwich waiting in my room (I didn’t have time for a meal)
on my return from the theatre, the breakfast was delicious and again the lady that served me was very pleasant also, the view and walk along the river the following morning was great it truly is a beautiful area far enough from the town but only 10min walk if you wanted the bars and restaurants
Cobwebs in the room, draft from bathroom coming in from the under the door I had to roll up a bathTowel and use it as a draft excluder. Also only one bedside lamp which was on the window sill so once you closed the curtains it was not possible to use it so I had to move it to stand it on the floor, I know there only small things but when your paying £125 a night 🤷♀️

Location, style, breakfast
Room was a bit small

View of the river from our room which was nice. The room was warm and cosy. Location was excellent- next to the river and within around 3-4 minutes walk into the town which was ideal. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice.
The pillows were a little too big/high for my liking but its down to personal preference. It would have been nice to have had a larger bed i.e. King size- a lot of places have them now rather than a small double bed.

Staff very helpful and friendly nice location
Our room was near stairs down to bar quite busy and noisy, so if wanted quiet room maybe stay other side of hotel.

The location of this hotel was superb, a quiet riverside position just 5 minute walk from the town centre with the added bonus of a car park. Breakfast was a well cooked full English served by a friendly staff member. Our room was comfortable, warm and quiet with a small bathroom but perfectly adequate. The welcoming staff ensured that I’ll certainly return for another visit.

The location in a beautiful spot by the river but not far from the train station, away from busy roads.
The staff were very friendly and the food excellent.
Listening to TV form the room next door until midnight after a day's walking.

Beautiful location, near to the town
and many walks along the River Wharfe and up to the moors. Friendly, helpful staff, with a great atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable room, modern decor. Amazing breakfast.
Small things: would prefer bath sheets as the bath towels were v small. A bottle of water and some biscuits in the room would have been nice touches.

The room and location of the hotel. Free parking and great access to the town centre including restaurants.
