Superb

The location was perfect. From the guesthouse, you could easily walk to the bus station, the train station or even explore all the museums and touristy places in Selcuk. Ali Baba was very friendly and accommodating. I forgot to inform him that I will arrive with the early morning bus, so I just messaged him on WhatsApp when I got to Selcuk. He was quick to reply and welcomed me in with a ready room. He offered to drive me and another guest to Efes. Not only did he do so, but he also dropped us at the North gate, so we explored while walking downhill to the South gate (it's important to note that otobus comes to the South Gate, so this was extremely helpful and convenient for us). The room was clean and big. I was able to use the AC, which was a big comfort for the summer. The breakfast was good too.

There was only soap for hand-wash and not a separate one for bathing. Which I found strange. The toilet also wobbled a bit.

Wonderful place!

Wonderful place and hospitality. Breakfast was delicious. Courtyard was beautiful. Quiet location. Thoroughlyy enjoyed my stay here.

The dorm room had no fan or window so it was a little stuffy

Huge comfortable room in accommodating guesthouse with helpful host

Great room, very large and comfortable with a nice little outside seating area, huge bathroom en suite. Ali was very helpful and provided us with a lift to Ephesus gates at very short notice. Very good communication and very accommodating host. The location is good with all the guesthouses in close proximity, and its a short walk to all the sights of Selcuk.

Unfortunately the courtyard area was not used for breakfast due to bad weather, the indoors area was a bit cluttered and chaotic, and the breakfast was pretty poor, so we skipped breakfast on the second day. We were unable to pay by card as apparently the card machine was not working, but thankfully the is a Halk Bank ATM close . Google Maps actually directed us to Alis kebab shop which is just round the corner from the accommodation.

Lovely place

Really liked this place, clean and comfortable, the hosts are nice, friendly and happy to help. What more can you ask for? If I come back, I'm going to stay here again.

Really kind and caring owners!

The owner and his wife are very kind and hospitable. We really enjoyed our 2 day stay here! We ate every meal at Alis restaurant as well, which was excellent! Would definitely recommend staying here. Ali was even kind enough to drive us to Ephesus so that we didnt need to pay for a taxi or walk. 10/10!

The family who owns it are so kind, interesting, and helpful. The bed in the dorm was comfortable and the breakfast was great. Do try the owner’s kebab house too, it’s fantastic

The ambiance is great. The hosts are very friendly and nice. It is wonderfull to sit outside for breakfast under a tree and there is a nice balcony upstairs.

Highly recommended hostel

Certainly one of the best hostels I have stayed in and I have stayed in many. Good breakfast included in the price, helpful friendly staff, nice dorm room with its own shower room. Fabulous location in Selcuk. I would definitely recommend this hostel. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My best stay in Turkey so far

The owner speaks English and he's really nice. The room and adjacent bathroom are spotlessly clean and comfy. The breakfast was included in the price of the dorm and it was delicious and abundant. The location is perfect - close to the bus and train station, city center. Everything was great, I highly recommend this place!

Very close to the bus station and to the city center. The family was really nice and was always helpful when it was needed. Breakfast was great.

I stayed in the dormitory and there is just an indoor window, it stunk a little a bit. There were 3 bed banks in the room, luckily we were just 2 people, I really don't think that there would be enough space for 6 people sleeping in that room, 4 max. Price was a little to high for the real quality, double/triple rooms were much better for the price paid.

Best breakfast we had in Turkey! Ali and his wife are lovely hosts, they really go out of their way to improve your experience in town. The restaurant Ali owns is amazing and cheap as well. Room was very nice and comfortable, had a traditional vibe to it. Well located in town. Definitely recommend.

Not much, some of the windows in the room wouldn't fully close which made the call to prayer from the nearby mosque a little loud.

This room was in a historic area and was good value for money.

The location was excellent. Easy walk to cafes, castle and museum. We appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and the family. The bed was comfortable. We were able to park our car immediately outside the house.

No kettle inside the room but there were communal tea/coffee facilities outside our ground level room - this was not too bad as long as it wasn’t raining. There were no rugs in the room as pictured which we felt affected the ambience of the room. The floor was cold. There were no block out curtains and the room stayed light all night from the street lighting. No hot water to the bathroom basin. As well as the king bed, there was a bunk bed and dining table and chairs which are also not shown in the photos. This changed the whole feel of the room and for us felt a bit cramped.

Perfect, in the center of the city

The beds are very confortable and the personnel is very nice and helpful. Also, they have a turkish restaurant with excellent food. There is a parking place in front of the house. The guest has many beautiful plants and the patio is an excellent oasis for relaxing.
