A great base to explore the mountains from!

Breakfast was lovely - highlight was the homemade breads.

We stayed 3 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned whilst we were there

Best stay of all in Taiwan.

Room and toilet was clean. I am able to see the mountain scenery during the day and stars during the night all in the room. You can book a sunrise tour from the hotel itself which I would recommend. Breakfast is a buffet style and the food was great. I liked the homemade bread especially.

Saw a big spider crawling. I am not sure if it is poisonous. There is no switch to turn off the table lamb at the side of the bed. I have to pull out the plug in order to turn it off. Other than that its fine.

Lovely room with great views

The room is huge and the view was fantastic and really amazing! The bedsheets and towels were freshly washed with a nice scent. The owners were really nice and friendly. They provided a lot of help and suggestions. They helped with carrying our luggage, helped make reservations for our dinner and sunrise tour. On our last day, one of the staff was worried we didn't have enough for breakfast and hence he even packed extra bread for us to takeaway with us so we could have it anytime we got hungry while on our way. Thank you for the warm hospitality! :)

There is no Aircon in the room (natural air ventilation is used instead) but a fan was provided. It was not a problem at night and in the morning. But can get a little warm if you were to sleep in the room in the afternoon during summer (June). The outer signage of the accommodation was not obvious and clear enough from where we alighted the bus. The signage can only be seen from the uphill direction but we had to walk downhill after alighting from the bus (at the stipulated bustop) and hence it was easy to miss it.

Room was clean and came with a beautiful view of the mountains (when it wasn't foggy). The hosts were exceptional and replied to enquiries quickly. They also prepared an amazing spread of breakfast for guests.

Great view of the mountains. staff were friendly and helpful. it gives an old world charm.

you have to wait awhile before hot water comes through the tap whilst showering or using the wash basin. Also, you have to climb up and down stairs to reach our room, and with big luggage’s, it can be quite cumbersome and dangerous lugging luggage n climbing stairs

Huge disappointment. Not good value for money.

Location and free parking

I booked a room that’s supposed to be for as many as 6 people but even though we just have 2 adults and 2 children we found the room too small especially the bathroom. The furnitures are too old and too small.

The proprietor, Daisy, went an extra mile in helping us with our holiday, in things both small and not-so-small. The architecture is, as advertised, European vintage. The air is a nice change from the big cities. Fresh bread at breakfast was good.

The local infrastructure is totally car-centred. Being a naive foreigner in a hurry, I didn't realise it...

Lovely hotel for a beautiful place.

The hotel feels homely (cottage/cabin in the woods vibe). The staff was very friendly and polite. They provided really good soap and shampoo and the bathroom was great.

The hotel has 4 floors, and i got the top floor. Abit difficult to carry heavy luggages up (no lifts). But the staff were very helpful to help carry some of my luggage.

Wonderful hotel. In north of “little Europe” area of Taiwan, so shorter drive to trails.

Large room with a beautiful view of mountains & valley. Large bathroom had just been remodeled and was immaculate, with extras like shower cap, toothbrush, etc. High quality Chinese breakfast complete with homemade bread. Breakfast room also had great views of the mountains. Very nice English speaking staff helped with planning hikes, etc. Coffee and tea are available 24/7. Location was close to trails and Sun Moon Lake was an easy day trip.

Need to pack a robe.

amazing view, worth the trip

the view was amazing!! clear instructions were given by the Villa to inform visitors where to drop off by the bus (keep a lookout on your email on it). staff were all very friendly

having to manually carry all of your luggage to the room yourself.

the location was good, could take a short walk yo cingjing farm, it had a wonderful view of the mountain with the windows, absolutely stunning

perhaps it was up in the mountain, room felt cold and the heating system was not avail yet, but staff offered a heating fan after I mentioned I was cold, many thanks!!!
