Location is great, definitely worth staying there. Try to avoid diners served locally. They charge 20 USD for a meal that is not worth it. For less money you will get better quality down in the town.

The property, staff and our accommodation were very good.
The bed in Villa Collibri needs to be replaced. Slopes into the middle and was very uncomfortable.

beautiful. great place to chill!

The tent is located on the rainforest. Very unique experience. The location is very well maintained. Beautiful view from your deck. You can just hang around the property, swim in the pool, chill at the big tree lounge, walk to the river. Relaxing, energizing, you just reunit with the nature.

This place is stunning! We stayed here two nights and we absolutely loved it. The tent was fabulous and the views from our balcony were gorgeous. We would leave the blinds rolled up and allow ourselves to be woken by the rising sun and the sounds of the forest coming to life - the perfect way to start any day. You can also wander down to the river for a dip should you so choose (we did and it was so peaceful).
The staff were excellent; extremely helpful and giving us suggestions for where we could venture to in our hire car (we opted to visit the nauyaca waterfalls and loved it - minus some of the roads you have to navigate to get there!). We chose to eat at the restaurant one night and the food was great (ships in a jalapeno sauce - t'was delicious!).
It is worth mentioning that a hire car, specifically one with 4-wheel drive is essential if you want to stay here; aside from the main coastal road (highway 34), there are very few asphalt roads in Uvita and you'll be spending a fair amount of time driving on extremely bumpy dirt roads.
Nothing - we loved our stay!

We absolutely love this place!! The Glamping „Tent“ is so comfortable and big. The bathroom the cleanest one on our 1 month jouney in CostaRica. You are surrounded by the Jungle, awsome property. The Food was the best, so good that we have 2 times diner there. Really the food is of such high quality and the staff was so friendly. You're missing out if you don't come here!!! Best place in CostaRica (for us) because everything just fit. 10 of 10!

Very nice villa (Heliconia). Had everything we needed during our stay. It’s clean and well equipped. The jacuzzi was great to have during one of the rainy nights. We wanted to turn on the TV but couldn’t locate the remote and there was no extra one. In the end we really didn’t need the TV anyway. We wanted access to washer and dryer because we had been traveling for a week before reaching Uvita but the washer broke. They offered to wash our clothes for free but we opted to just wash all by hand and use the dryer since we were out and about. We didn’t try the breakfast or food offering as there was a large party and we wanted to start very early. The kitchen in the villa was great because we were able to make a simple breakfast for ourselves. Everything was great and staff were friendly and accommodating and easily reached using WhatsApp. The bedrooms on the second floor is only accessible through outside stairs and the bathroom is located on the main floor. We initially thought this will be an issue but we were fine. To reach the area you will have to drive up a rock and dirt road from Route 34. It’s secluded, peaceful and great experience. There were other guests but we didnt hear nor see many people because the villas and tents were spread out. It is atypical for us to stay farther outside of the main area when vacationing but we appreciated the experience Manoas offered particularly in Costa Rica where we were surrounded by the greenery and sound of nature.

Casa Rio was amazing, huge house with all mod cons and great value for money. Manoas feels remote but is easy to get to up steep dirt track. it’s a very special place with beautiful plants and wildlife, we saw howler monkeys, lots of different toucans and blue Morpho butterflies. food was particularly good, great cooking done by a tiny team. highly recommended.

This place is amazing! The situation of the house was peaceful, had amazing views, and great birds to sit and watch while relaxing. Not only does it have a swimming pool but the river is just below for a great swim.
But to top it all the staff were great as well. The young man who showed us to our room was always on hand and quick to respond to any questions too!
I would highly recommend this place.

Casa Rio is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Staff are friendly and responsive. The river in the property is great. Amber, the dog, is a sweetheart.
Door locks in Casa Colibrí are very hard to open. The fact that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs with the stairs outside was a big downside for us, particularly as it was hard to open and close the door locks. Wifi doesn’t work very well so the TV didn’t work.
4.7
Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, surrounded by jungle and lots of wildlife.
Sleeping with the sound of the jungle was an amazing experience !
Close to Marino Ballena National Park and only a 30min drive to Nauyaca Falls/Dominical.
We should have stayed longer
Highly recommended, we will definitely come back !!

Beautiful property with lots of space and a great open room on the upper floor. Amazing views of the mountains and we loved the sounds of the animals and river at night. Perfect for a large group.

Steve the owner was amazing.
Great views and amazing experience overall.

Best accommodation during our three weeks stay in Costa Rica. Sparkling clean, spacious tent surrounded by the jungle, lovely and welcoming staff, nice pool. The kids (1 and 3) loved it.

Stunning location, beautiful grounds, amazing views, perfect place to relax and enjoy the rainforest. Spotted loads of birds including toucans. Short walk to the river for a refreshing swim. Lovely pool. Delicious food

fabulous stayed at Manoas, loved it so much extended by 2 nights. family friendly with an amazing fully equipped tent, great pool and lovely little river. The staff were amazing too and went above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
loved it all, tricky without a car but found a great local taxi company with a 4x4

The room was very well appointed, the bed was comfortable, the view was amazing!

The location in the junge is amazing! The private River is nice to swim and the "Tent" was verry clean and comfortable.
The only way to eat something was to go to the Dinner/Breakfast that was offered by Manoas. There was no opportunity to cook or have a bbq.
4.7
Beautiful grounds and staff were very helpful and friendly!

Spacious accommodation / beautiful yoga studio / huge balcony over looking the forest (room #3) / close to natural river. Loved this place!
The road coming into the hotel is 1.5km (unpacked, steep and very rocky)

We had a 3 day stay in January and everything was great. Comfy bed, and beautiful surroundings. It was nice to relax on the deck after a hike and enjoy the view. Saw lots of toucans, parrots and hummingbirds. Nice little path to walk down to the rivers edge. Breakfast was yummy and all the staff were very helpful.

We absolutely loved the tent in the jungle, the views were amazing and it was so peaceful. The pool was lovely, the staff and food were fantastic. It is one of my favourite places I have stayed in 10 years of travel.
The restaurant was only open one night which as we didn’t have a car meant either a $20 round trip to town or a picnic
4.7
Amazing experience in a beautiful gem in the middle of the jungle.
The room was bigger than in the photos
The breakfast was delicious and included several options..
The staff was charming and helpful
Can't think of anything
4.7
A perfect place to unwind from a stressful world. magical combination of comfort and nature.
4.7
The owner and staff were especially friendly, communicative, relaxed and seemingly enjoying life in this lovely area as well. It was so nice to talk with them, to enjoy wading in the river just a short walk down from our tent, and the delicious (gluten free accommodating) meals.
4.7
It was my favorite place to stay in Costa Rica. It’s a bit far from popular travel destinations but it was worth driving there. Beautiful settings. Swimming in the river was fun. Kids loved the pool. The villa was comfortable.
Nothing to complain about.
4.7
Incredible forest setting. Wonderful private tents- very cozy! Sounds of nature in the morning.
Dinner and other offerings (ie massages) were overpriced. Difficult road to get to the property. A small warm tub/pool would be nice for those cooler rainy days and evenings.
