Great fun!
The boat rental through the hotel was a disaster, paid over $3k for a private boat and upon arrival it was a shared experience with 20 people: was told it was private. Got scammed!

The water park is extra
Service is almost non existent and very very very expensive. Place is isolated and thus very difficult to get around and they basically take advantage of it by overpricing all items.

The location is ideal. I love the beach and the facilities are well laid out
That I was deprived of my additional two days that I originally booked for because my credit card kept declining thanks to my bankers

property was exceptional
main complaint is the taxes charged..first and last time at this property.

Overpriced, not enough breakfast options and other guests can easily charge things to your room like they did to me THREE TIMES.

This was our second time staying at Baha Mar and it was hard to find positives this time around.
We had two interleading rooms. Our adult children were placed in a room with two queen beds, a shower in the bathtub, and no separate shower. There was black hair in the tub on the first day. The bathroom door was broken and didn't close properly. Despite being an "ocean view" room, the balcony was small with a terrible view. There were no bathrobes provided. Ironically, their room cost more per night than ours. During the flight, our daughter had a medical emergency and had to be assisted off the plane by paramedics. When we arrived at the hotel, we requested a wheelchair for her, but it never arrived, so we had to walk her to the room. We didn't want to complain about the room at that time because we didn't want to move her, but when we did complain the following morning, we were told that there was no similar room available. They only offered us $300 in resort credits, which we felt was a small effort since we were paying $5000 per room for our seven-night stay. Another complaint was that they removed all umbrellas from the beach for four consecutive days, despite little wind, and umbrellas were open at all hotels on each side of the Hyatt. We couldn't tolerate being baked in the sun for 5-6 hours each day. It was almost impossible to find five chairs at the pool, and even when we did, they were so far back that we couldn't see anything. We could've gone to Las Vegas if we wanted to look at buildings every day. Room service took over an hour to arrive. The shower water smelled bad, and the food in the restaurants was very mediocre for the ridiculous prices they charged. We were repeatedly informed that the cheaper wines were out of stock and were offered Pinot Noir, which cost $250 per bottle, as the cheapest option available. The resort fee we paid didn't cover the cost of playing tennis or pickleball. They wanted to charge roughly $100 for an hour of four people playing.

Beach
Prices for food and drinks are insane. They blame the fact they need to import for their rip off.

The beach, pools and hotel are very nice and everything is very well maintained. Personel overall friendly except at excursions desk.
Note that you have to pay for everything extra (except beach towels and chairs). For example even one slice of pita bread with spread in cleo restaurant for USD 21!! I recall this being served free as starter in most restaurants in the US or Europe. This is just an example. Prices across the board are lunatic. 3 persons dinner was between USD 280 and USD 380 without any alcohol or fancy drinks. Food is ok but small portions compared to the US. Make sure you look at the menues and pricing online before deciding to come here. There is nothing else to go for lunch or dinner in walking distance outside the resort so you are trapped in this rip off castle. Another example one portion fried chicken wings (3 pieces) with fries and a coke was USD 42 on a food truck on the beach. There is not much to do in the evening besides Casino, Shopping or sitting in bars. I felt like in a temple of consumation which aims to suck cash out of your pocket no matter how. I recommend taking the jitney bus to Nassau or Cable Beach for USD 1,50. There is a stop right outside the hotel. Here you get some impressions of the Island, more decent prices and there are supermarkets and pharmacies if needed.

The water park and pools are fantastic. Our kids also loved the fountain shows and flamingo parade. You have access to the entire Baha Mar property including the Rosewood and SLS. We never wanted to leave!
We made the mistake of not keeping our swim clothes with us when we arrived. It took a long time for our luggage to be delivered to our room which meant we didn't get to the water park/pools until later than we'd planned.

Everything worked as good as expected. Big, clean, and very comfortable room. Great restaurants, bars, cassino, stores, and a lot of entertainment. Beach, pools, and water park also met my expectations.
Kayak and paddle board were free (included in the resort fee, to be more precise), but several times, they were not available. Beach umbrellas as well. They say it was because of weather conditions, but it was not raining nor windy then. Service was very good in all restaurants I visited there, except Regatta Buffet, terrible. I was there for breakfast, and service was rude since from the reception, and I felt the waiter was not happy in serving my table. There were so many other options, and I was glad not having to return there.

Having everything you need in one spot
The service was poor on all levels. Most of the times you find staff members who are impolite than actually finding the polite ones.

It was so beautifully landscape and gave you that tropical feeling.
Once we figured out the dinner options and needing to either make a reservation or eat early it worked out.

I loved the beach front.I liked that baha bay was included. The veiw was amazing. The food from the various resturants was good.
The resturants close too early. They said breakfadt was included and it wasnt.I booked a walk out balcony and they gave us a shakespear balcony. The sheets were not clean we had to request clean ones. When the house keeper came to clean they did not change the sheets because a stain that was put there the night before was still there after the came.

Las instalaciones son perfectas. Hermoso todo
Es bastante costoso. Todo en el lugar es costoso. Más los impuestos de turismo.
Entonces... Si están dedicados al turismo porque no hay personal en los lugares idóneos como lobby... Atención telefónica para las habitaciones. Etc. Que hablen diferentes idiomas como español, portugués, chino. Etc.

The staff was absolutely incredible-from Iesha at the checkin desk going way above and beyond to assist my family with getting into our room a bit early, to all of the restaurant wait staff, lifeguards, housekeeping etc...it was just phenomenal to be treated with such warmth and diligence throughout our stay. They all made our trip memorable and we can't wait to go back!
Additionally, the facilities were clean, the water park was safe and well-run, the food and drinks all over the resort were delicious.
The pools were a blast-if you have kids you want to send one person down to the Blue Hole (with the cliff jump and grotto) around 7am and save a few lounge chairs for the day. After 730 they are all claimed and it kind of shuts you out for the day. A bright spot of being up and about that early is the short line at Starbucks for your morning coffee on the way back!
We also needed medical assistance for a minor issue during our stay, and having the clinic right in the hotel was so convenient--and the care was excellent!
I really wish mini fridges (not the mini bar) were provided in the rooms as a standard amenity. We were unable to take leftovers from meals at restaurants (and the food isn't cheap!), nor could we keep milk for cereal and protein powder we'd packed. I also wish there was a place to refill water bottles with filtered water. The regular tap tastes and smells gross. Some of the larger bottles water (Fiji, which costs $2.50 in the US at Whole Foods), set us back $10/bottle. It's so hot there, and I wish hydration was more affordable.

Closeness to airport. Cleanliness.
Nothing for teens to do in evenings. Cost of food was too high and too many taxes and surcharges

Clean facilities, great food, beautiful suite rooms.
Easily the most inhospitable and unhelpful staff I have ever encountered. A manager finally assisted the last day after a positively horrible family vacation. The kids had fun which is why we were there. We would have been better off going to Atlantis. We were told we’d have adjoining rooms, then told we had too many in our party and had to get Three 3-bedroom suites , they were not even on the same floor and because we have four kids we wouldn’t leave any alone in a room, so my husband and I never got to be in the same room or same floor the whole week. Reception could not have possibly cared less. These arrangements we learned of at check in. They wouldn’t accommodate any change, and ultimate took off the cost of one night for one of the two three-bedroom suites. For those who don’t know Baha Mar prices, that wasn’t even a drop in the bucket. One of our suites had a ceiling leak and what smelled like sewage water came running down a light can in the ceiling of the sitting area and landed on a sweater and my laptop. The room smelled so bad we had to leave. That was the cherry on top. I am a Hyatt Globalist traveler and have enjoyed Hyatts with my family and for business all around the world. Unfortunately, this experience made me reconsider my loyalty, and this is a destination we will not be returning to. First one we were all happy to be leaving to come home, and easily one of the most expensive—more expensive than the Hyatt owned Kukui’ula on Kawaii which is stunning. It really is a shame. Service matters so much when it comes to a relaxing vacation. It was pretty clear though that they have plenty of business and do not care about one guest with a complaint or need. Do not waste your money. There are plenty of beautiful places in the world to visit. If you still choose Baha Mar, go to the Rosewood next door or SLS if you have kids you want to let roam the water park.

A lot to do. New. Good location. Close to airport.
Everything was incredibly expensive. The stay itself was very pricey, but food and drinks were incredibly overpriced.

Gorgeous. Well maintained. Clean and comfortable. Huge variety of dining and entertainment options on-site. Very accommodating staff.
Food, drinks and activities were incredibly overpriced. Restaurant food quality was generally “okay” at best. A few restaurants were better than most but they carried a very hefty price. I’m not afraid of a high end price tag if the quality is there but generally that’s where they fell short. If I were to return I would avoid sit down lunches and visit the airstream trucks more as you seem to get slightly better value. Drink prices were also insane at roughly $22-30/ cocktail. We went during spring break which may have had some impact but for the price of the accommodations I feel
Like more should’ve been included but sadly most everything came with “a fee”.

Exceptional service, beautiful resort, amazing food. Everything you could want being single or for a family. So close to the airport as well.
Costs are high but you really get what you pay for here. If I called to ask for something it showed up at my room or a person came right away. Top of the line resort family experience.
