Excellent food, friendly staff, stunning location

Simplicity of the venue. Additional touches in bathroom and tea area. The food. Generous at breakfast. Flexibility for dogs.
The room decor (needed updating). The staff - highly efficient but not passionate in the venue or in clients. Not a single smile.

Beautiful location, lovely countryside, very peaceful and quiet. Accommodation lovely, with views over the fields, spacious and comfortable room with lots of storage space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent restaurant and bar. Owner and all staff very friendly. All going the extra mile to make our stay a memorable one.

The location is incredible - it's in a secluded spot in a wooded valley overlooking the Tarr steps and Barle River; probably the best star visibility I've seen in the UK. The room was comfortable and spacious with a decent shower. Dinner was excellent. Dogs welcome.

Ideal for walking the Devon Coast to Coast route or the Two Moors Way as is right by Tarr Steps and the walk along the river to Simonsbath is beautiful. There was a good choice for breakfast and our dinner was exclellent. Staff were helpful and flexible and the room was well appointed and very comfortable, also having a good sized bathroom.

The staff were incredibly helpful, cheerful, efficient and positive. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent and the wine good too. The Inn, though difficult to find, is in a beautiful spot in the middle of the equally beautiful Exmoor.
Not much. The bedroom was just about larger enough. Soundproofing was not great but just about acceptable.

Amazing place, I used to live in Dulverton and was back visiting the area. Great location, a stones throw from Tarr Steps. Plan to do the circular walk, it's beautiful. This place is also very popular with locals too as it also serves excellent food.

The location of Tarr Tarm is wonderful, with beautiful walks direct from the doorstep. The room was comfortable and clean, with excellent extras. Breakfasts were delicious, using local produce beautifully cooked and presented. Staff are helpful, friendly and extremely pleasant. We were blessed with lovely weather. We will be returning to enjoy the hoospitality and environment and will be recommending Tarr Farm to friends and family.
There was nothing negative to say at all. I would request an upper room in future just to have better views, but that is a personal thing.
