This place is truly extraordinary! Its stunning beauty transports you into a living museum. The expansive space offers every imaginable amenity: a fully equipped kitchen, a charming garden, modern air conditioning and heating systems, a washing machine, and a consistently hot shower. Additionally, it features delightful surprises you might not have expected, such as a pool table, a grand piano, and a swimming pool.
The value for money of this place is above and beyond what we expected.
Moreover, Augusto is an exceptional host, surpassing all expectations. He is a treasure trove of tips and tailored itineraries, always ready to assist with anything you might need. It’s hard to imagine returning to Tuscany and staying anywhere but at Augusto’s.

This property was everything and more! The owner Augusto was so helpful and welcoming. He was easily accessible by WhatsApp and provided amazing recommendations for places to eat and see whilst we were in Cortona. This beautiful villa was so special, with a lot of history and culture in the property. The pool and the outdoor setting was magical. We did not want to leave! We can’t wait to go back!

We rented two of the villas with friends and family and it was just a dream! Lazing by the pool all day, having long table dinners at night, and only a 10 min drive up the hill to Cortona. Lots of local co-ops/shopping markets to buy all the pasta and prosecco you like! This was my third time to Villa Augusto, and I'll be back again.
Felt like I needed to barter a bit at the end with our host over city tax, extra beds etc. Was a bit of sour note to end a week long trip on. Also communication with the host was very patchy, I had to reach out via multiple mediums to get a response.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Augusto! The Villa absolutely exceeded our expectations. Words cannot describe how beautiful it is, and it far exceeded our dreams of staying in a Tuscan Villa. Our host, Augusto, is fantastic - a very warm, generous, kind and considerate host, who was very helpful, attentive and also a great sense of humour! Augusto went out of his way to tell us in detail with great recommendations about places to eat, drink and visit around Cortona and Tuscany. Thanks to Augusto’s tips, we visited some unique places and saw beautiful things that we would otherwise have not seen in Tuscany. The Villas are stunning, so beautifully decorated with antiquities, paintings, sculptures and so much character, and also so comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was excellent. The air-conditioning and heating worked very well. The garden is spectacular, as is the swimming pool. The Villa is in an excellent location near Camucia, and at the foothills of Cortona. We wished we could have stayed longer, and we will be back to stay at Villa Augusto.
Nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The villa is a rare gem, as is the host and his wonderful family. The patina of a bygone era envelopes the visitor as you enter the marvelous rooms filled with antique furniture and original floors and walls, designed for a noble family. The garden is really a park, peaceful and romantic, and a walk to Cortona leads through fields of wild Irises framing the olive groves. The host is a true connoisseur of his city and surroundings and has fantastic recommendations and shares them freely, taking his time to explain everything in detail. Every minute was enjoyable and we plan on coming back for a longer stretch to this wonderful corner of Italy.

The Villa is close to the small city of Camucia, on a quiet country lane. The Villa is beautifully decorated and arranged. There is a room with a grand piano-in tune!, another with a billiard table. The pool was huge and although it was too late in the season to swim, we did enjoy an afternoon poolside on the comfortable lounge chairs..
everything was wonderful.

We got 2 floor villa,it’s unfair that nobody told us that it’s two floor. If I knew it in advance I wouldn’t rent this property. I felt been cheated. The owner didn’t agree to change my villa telling a lot of stories. You should publish that there is one villa with two floor otherwise you cheat the customers. Future customers take care of this information.

Villa Augusto is a stunning property only a few minutes’ drive from Cortona. Quiet and spacious with a lovely swimming pool and tennis court - it was the perfect place to return to after a long day sightseeing. Augusto is an absolutely charming host and happy to offer local advice on what to see and do.
