Kettle to large hard to fill .perfect

Close to beamish which we where visiting.
Friendly staff.
TV kept turning itself on during night.
Carpet at door was wet, which then smelt.

Good breakfast. Gave us what we wanted.
Maybe a quick service of the room would have helped.

The room was up a flight of outside stairs and had its own entrance, which was detached from the pub. Ideal for coming back late. The pub was an good old fashioned place with charm and a fantastic atmosphere. It was packed on Saturday night, so the music might be a problem if you want a quiet night. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom was clean and modern with a walk in shower. Fab view out the back. Great breakfast.
Nothing.

It was very clean and the staff were welcoming. Breakfast was lovely.
I only gave a low score for the bed because I have very painful joints and the mattress and pillows were extremely hard. So I had a painful night. Other than that it was lovely.

Didn't have breakfast as we had to be away early

Very friendly, helpful staff. Fresh, clean linen. Good priced breakfast.
No curtains or blinds on glass door of the annex room, so bright from street lights and car headlights. Thick dust on window blinds. Shower either scalding hot or very cold. Overflowing bins to front and side of the property.

Friendly welcome. Room was really big. Bed comfy. Shower hot. Lovely view from large window
Was all grand. Had to leave early so didn't get to try breakfast which was a Shame

No food outlet within walking distance but convenience store opposite which sold snacks.

Terri
The manager is a credit to the industry
Warm and friendly and catered for all our needs
The full English breakfast is excellent value for money
I would highly recommend staying here
There is evening entertainment on over the weekend in the pubic bar downstairs
Bar prices are very reasonable
There is also a shop just across the road that stocks just about everything you my need
The bus stop is also just outside
We will be back
None comes to mind

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. Couldnt really ask for much more!
The "out of hours" entrance and exit was extremely slippy due to the rain. It is the metal fire escape stairs.
Also.. the bloke in the room next door clearly had too much beer as I could hear him throwing up from 4am!! (Obviously not anyones fault and I hope he has a banging headache!!)

I was self contained apart from going into the main building for breakfast. The facilities were good for what I required.
I paid extra for a breakfast but it was excellent and good value.
The owner was very friendly.
No way of blocking out the light from the entrance door. Am attempt at doing this had been done at the fan light above but I think it should be possible to put up velcro for a black out curtain to be attached and removed.

Good old fashioned Inn it was comfortable and relaxing.
The room was facing the main street with a bus stop outside didn't feel very private.

The host Terry was very accommodating. I was travelling with my adult son and so needed two rooms, It was a pleasure to be given the bridal suite. ... a nice comfortable spacious room. I will book again if ever i'm needing an overnight stay in that area.
Although i ate all my breakfast i did find it a little greasy. I think the ash browns and the sausages had been deep fried. this is not a complaint by the way. it was still very tasty.

Nothing worth mentioning.

Terri and Steve were top class and very good hosts.Terri also made a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Lovely big clean room too
A couple in the room opposite had dogs that had clearly been in the rain and the dog was smelling quite bad. I would be concerned at getting a room after clients had brought dogs although I'm certain thoroughly cleaned afterwards.

The room was a nice size and the place was quiet after 11. Staff were super friendly, and the room was warm. The shower was good, too!
Didn't serve food, and the owners support Newcastle United. That's all I can think of really.
